Only walks where it is shoveled? I have a cat who only walks on pavement and won’t walk on grass (she is indoor only but I sometimes take her outside in a harness). I had a cat who’d jump into snow higher than she was and leap into the air when you’d toss a snowball over her head, when then would either break apart or knock her on her back in the snow when her paw made contact with the snowball. She had a blast.
My B-I-L has used his snowblower to make a racetrack loop around their fenced backyard for their mini-puppers, but they had lake-effect snow about 2.5-3’ deep.
The more athletic ones do racing loops, while the older/more sedate models trundle around.
When our girls got old, and when Swiper’s knee got especially unhappy in the cold, I shoveled out most of our back yard, and trails to go to the tree and back so they’d be able to walk.
When they were younger they’d just leap into the snow and you could tell from the curve of the part of them you could see if you were going to have to do a little digging for pickup or not, but you knew they’d done their business.
