Oh thank goodness I finally hit 1 year of meh button clicks
14I have dreadful OCD and over the past several years I’ve been trying and failing to reach a full year so my OCD ritual will finally be complete. I even had to click one extra day since it is a leap year. I’ve been checking this site just to press that damned button. I cannot properly convey the stress and anxiety that came from missing a day.
Now I can finally rest and not worry about this anymore. I completed 1 whole cycle. It sounds weird I’m sure but this is what OCD is like. Just these various irrational rituals you have to complete or you start falling to pieces.
I have finally been able to remove the albatross tied 'round my neck. Thanks for the meh-mories.

@lisagd ouch that is tough. Reason to get an electric car?
@lisagd on this topic (maybe it bothers me more than it should!) the extra .9 cents has driven me crazy for years. I remember my parents getting gas for the Buick at like 40 cents a gallon and the .9 was a way to mark-up the price by “almost” a whole cent and I’m not sure when that started (before my time), but obviously the first company to try it established a rule that ALL gas would be sold this way (at least in the U.S.) I remember my mother trying to explain to me how the .9 worked because it made no sense to me then (still doesn’t now, but I understand how it came to be).
But with gas at, let’s say, an even $4, I can understand marketing at $3.99, but $3.999? Be serious! But if any station tries it, people will go to the station across the street that looks “cheaper” but it’s only 0.1 cent less per gallon.
@lisagd @pmarin Here is your $0.009 reason.

/giphy cheers!
Congratulations!
After you’ve rested for a bit, are you ready to tackle this?
(I named the file “FauxCD” because I know it’s just a stereotype, and not necessarily what OCD is like for everyone. I also know that this picture pulls at people who don’t actually have OCD. Again, exploiting stereotypes for humor.)
My streak is 364 days. I was on vacation. It’s the most meh thing I could have done.
So your lost your streak of incomplete years?
Congratulation!! After working in a psych of an absurd amount of years and seeing just about everything, I truly get it. I think I’m more fucked up than the day I started working.
@Star2236 I’ve yet to meet an adult who got less messed up as they got older
Congratulations, , for such an awesome accomplishment! BUT now you must , Due to the OCD work on 2 years & Answer the daily question they ask. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you NOW do Both for 365 days in a Row! No rest for the weary!
