This IRK is by far the best one I’ve received…an Ecovacs Deebot 601 robot vacuum! Also included were a pair of Airstream true wireless earbuds (think Apple AirPods but cheaper), a Mobile Power Lightbolt multipurpose rechargeable LED flashlight/lantern, and a Monster ScreenClean laptop screen cleaner set. Not bad for $5!!

@Star2236 UPDATE: Deebot seems to be working just fine! He’s happily scrubbing away at our carpets and hard floors, and even managed to get completely under a broken piece of our kitchen cabinetry (where we hadn’t cleaned for years!) and extricate himself without a scratch. I’ve never had a robot vacuum before, so he is fascinating and entertaining to watch.

[I am pleasantly surprised at my haul this time! I usually don’t post my stuff, cause it has been basically the same things as everyone else, but it seems like this Mehrathon has been generally better than the previous (who knows how long). I got a super dusty probably used or reconditioned air fryer (turns on, but have tried it yet) poo~pouring, flitt charger, 4,000 mAh Keychain battery charger, and tac accessory. My faith in Meh has been partially restored

@nickm461 I’ve heard Ronald McDonald houses do birthdays. Other, similar family homes near hospitals likely do as well. You might also look towards organizations which work with refugees or foster kids.
@gt0163c @nickm461 Yes Ronald McDonald’s in Houston was thrilled the other year when I gave them a pile of fuko disney princess bags as they do birthdays. Or at least that one did. Locally they also were pleased when I gave them a bunch of kid’s socks I got with big bows on them and some more of those.

Yay! Despite the FedEx mystery (pictured above), my IRK was delivered today! Absolutely no regret and thankfully, no leaks of Poo Pourri!
The box was pretty destroyed before it was neatly re-boxed by FedEx, so if there were tiny things in it, they totally would have fallen out on the trip. I am thrilled with my IRK…thanks Meh! ❤️❤️

Not bad! Since we have a 7 year old who loves Frozen, the Frozen bag is actually super useful. My wife will also enjoy the wine tumbler (add it to her collection!). I have no idea if the headphones will work (packaging was poor, it’s likely a return) but if they do, it might be handy! I’ve actually been thinking about a replacement.
The Smart Bracelet is the only main “dud”, and that’s only because we already have an Apple Watch. Also, not sure if it even works.
All in all, not bad for my very first IRK!
I also got the Superman birthday bags. 135 bags with Henry Cavill’s mug on them (plus tissue paper and card in each)…new level of regret achieved.
@forebrain The Ronald McDonald house might like them. I unloaded some disney princess bags at two different ones over the last couple of years and they were thrilled.

Just posting the IRK that I received on Friday (fastest ever). This one was less disappointing than last month’s:
A rather nice IRK. I think all will easily find good homes in this family. The sheets will go in “The Closet” where I’m building an accumulation of house things for grandkids getting their own places. Everything else will be put to use now. I use IRKs as shameless lures to get family to visit.
Works like a charm.

I got pretty lucky with my IRK. I got:

All of it was neatly shoved into the Ninja box. I don’t really need the slow cooker but it seems like it good be gift-able. I’ve been tempted by similar earbuds but expect them to be terrible. BUT, now I get to try them out and see how terrible they are without the guilt of specifically buying them.
By far the worst BoC/Fuku/Fuko/IRK I’ve ever gotten…
But at least it got here in less than 2 days!

When I was in Houston next I walked over to the Ronald McDonald House with them and they were beyond thrilled. Each month they celebrate all birthdays for that month and were going to use the bags to hold the present they give the younger girls. So those of you who got these and have no idea what to do with them try there.

@sasantosh I got the same thing as you. I was excited about the wireless headset, but alas it seems to be dead and won’t take a charge. Does yours work? Also, I got size S/M in for the copper back thingy, but could most likely use the size you got L/XL.

@RiotDemon The thing about flashlights is I don’t know in advance when I’ll need them. So rechargeable doesn’t work for me and this has a warning to not charge it for over 6 hours.
@sammydog01 hmm… Maybe just keep it on the car charger so it only charges when the car is running? Unless you go on a road trip longer than six hours.
Also, if they happen to be lithium batteries the charge lasts a while.

I believe someone stole my IRK and another Meh package this morning. I know it was left outside of my building, and then my neighbors (who through a translator) said that it was taken away. Uncertain if they meant that the shipping company took it back, and it shows “delivered”, so I’ll have to wait a few days and see what happens.

@pskemp2 I hate to say it but nothing in there sounds like birthday present level gifts. Junk for the house more like it. I take it you didn’t get murdered your wife for no personalized present since you posted? (grin). I’d say a trip to the store and then claim it arrived late; that you had it sent to work so she wouldn’t know… would make her happier. Unless of course she looks at the credit card bills and then you are out of luck.

@denton Take the frozen bags to your local Ronald McDonald house if you have one near you (or mail them). I took mine several years ago to one and they were thrilled! They have one birthday party a month for all kids there who have a birthday then and were going to use them to put the present from them in them for the younger girls.

The IRK arrived on 11/14, faster than a speeding bullet, for those old enough to remember that show. My granddaughter, age 4, on the other coast will be thrilled by the Frozen bag! There is a headphone set from Bower & Wilkens-a refurb that I have not tried, but they look nice with blue and chrome; it is a discontinued model. There are 5 rubber watch bands for a specific watch or FitBit-like thing (not included). There is a flashlight with a glowing end as well. There are assorted filters for a Popeil fryer which we don’t own and I don’t recall Woot selling. There is a nice IRK bag, red, that is wider than it is tall, which is different and there are the sale announcement cards. Congratulations to all on their haul!

it looks like Fedx lost mine, last scanned on friday as arriving in Dallas, tracking now says no delivery date available. Fedx will only talk to the shipper as far as lost packages and meh won’t let me start a claim until after the est. arrival date of Dec 7th…

@futurian I was able to talk to Fedex about 2 lost packages of the same item from the same shipper (Fedex said they were out for delivery for two weeks). Of course, it didn’t do any good. They are in the shipping place apparently, but they can’t find them. We’re trying a third time with shipment to a Fedex pickup place.

I have no idea what’s going on with Fed Ex and my irk. It’s been on a vehicle for delivery since Sunday, and tonight I saw that it’s now being returned for inspection.

Once someone sent us Fish Sauce from Cambodia. They packed it like meh packs things. It broke (it stinks!!!) and the post office put it on the loading dock and called me to come down. They wanted to know if it was dangerous and if people needed decontaminated. LOL. Yeah dangerous to your taste buds if you hate it like I do (my kid loves it though which is why I tolerated the entire house stinking from this stuff). Fish sauce I’d decontaminate with ice cream or chocolate or something.

@k4evryng I searched and found this - Generally means when the driver went to grab it to deliver it the package was damaged (beyond just needing some tape) so they bring it back for QA to asses.
I didn’t think about leaks.
If it was damaged then anything little probably fell out. It looks like it was handled/scanned so much that I find it hard to believe that they just noticed damage when trying to deliver it. Maybe they knew it was an Irk from Meh and decided to see if there was anything awesome in it.

Irks are so hard to get but I didn’t expect the regret to start before the package was even delivered.
