I have a hard time with stretching the definition of "introduction to interstate commerce" to include flying your own whatever. Those words clearly mean "produce for sale" in English.
Then again, I also have a hard time believing the FAA has any authority to act on the remote control hobby in low altitude flight not near full scale air traffic, but clearly they have been allowed this authority somehow.
@djslack FAA are, and have been an unchecked gov't agency. Do a search on NextGen airplane noise. They fly overhead below 2000 ft daily, 45seconds apart. Residents are up in arms. I'm one of them. F the FAA. I'm still going to fly purchased and home built toys. What are they going to do? send Code Enforcement out to patrol? As long as there are no incidents with their stupid airplanes, I say we're fine.
