I have the 771, bought it around May for $160, this one only has 1 mix cup, mine had two, the 772 on Amazon says this should have three...Still seems like a great deal.
I have the 900w single serve one which I like quite a bit. I also have a food processor attachment for my Bosch mixer. It is kind of tempting to grab this for the extra blender and more convenient food processor, but seems very unnecessary.
Does the single serve cup and blade match the smaller models or does it have some funky special blade cap that is different for the high powered model?
@bph I have this exact unit paid 100 retails for double that has a single serve cup about 16oz. and its own blade for the cup this unit is very badazz and crushes instantly with the pulse mode for single serve
ooooo you bastards- first you offer a run of contigo's that are perfect for margaritas, but wait till summer's over to offer the perfect margarita blender.
I bought one of these with extra attachments from QVC. It's still in a box somewhere. I hear they're pretty good. Now if only I could find it. Baby arm sold separately.
I got one last time we sold them. In addition to breakfast shakes, pina coladas, etc., I've used it to mix cookie dough and make snow cones. A++++ would buy again (if I needed another one, which I don't).
I just bought the "2-in-1" Ninja blender and I didn't realize how much I'd use it. Its kind of great to use the personal blender cups every day. Unfortunately I don't need two blenders though.
I bought this from meh back in February and I think it's alright. Unless you use the attachments, I'm not sure it's worth the extra cash over, let's say, an Oster. I don't love that the container is plastic and that the blade doesn't lock into place. I use it for smoothies and it definitely gets all ice chunks smooth, but does not pulverize greens or some fruits. Overall, I wish I had taken that cash and put it towards a higher end blender.
I haven't used the attachments other than the cheese grater fwiw.
@alexthegirl Also I've used the single serve cup and blade and I think it blends better than the main blades, but you need to use a lot of liquid with it.
@mfladd Sometimes when I'm weighing a big decision, I get on my knees and puree about it. But this seems like a grate deal if you're in the market for one.
Hit the jackpot on the a birthday Fuku and got similar Ninja. Was DOA but got replacement base on Ebay for like $35. Was intent on drowning myself in pitchers of Margaritas. But what I found out is that everyone makes the single serve fruit smoothies. Kids are getting tons of healthy fruits in them than I didn't anticipate. We need to add some more veggies but the fruit part is amazing. Much less raiding the pantry for chips cookies and cereal. We even leave this big honking thing on the counter, they use it everyday. So, I highly recommend. Maybe order a few more single serve cups to use if you need them. Louder than my lawn mower, probably more HP too. Would never have paid for Blendtec or flipping Vitamix.
Bought one last round and the base unit is having problems. Because it's a refurb, no warranty. Ninja has a great warranty on new units - If I had it to do over, I'd pay the extra for new.
I have one of these I got from Target and if I'm not using it every day as a smoothie machine, I'm using it as a food processor. Makes the best whipped cream I have ever had. DO IT.
I purchased a Ninja from Woot almost 2 years ago. only have the main pitcher, though. The three tier blade is terrifying and incredibly sharp. My wife cut herself cleaning it when we first got it and now refuses to use it.
I've always disliked square pitchers because things like flower often build up when mixing things. This one, though doesn't have that issue. I was very tempted to buy this set to get the smaller pitcher.
You can also purchase a paddle mixer. I use this more often than anything else when baking, home made pancakes, etc.
I am still torn about this offer. I already have a kitchenaid food processor, and a mini one drink mixer, but my blender has some age on it. Is there a BEST OFFER button, as with some Ebay deals? $80???????
After reading the write-up for today's offer, does anyone else get the vibe that it was written by someone other than Jason? It is hard to explain but it didn't have his distinct writing style, plus there were errors, which I don't usually see here.
I finally opened the box this was in within the last week after hording it away in secrecy for over a year now while i dreamed of getting an apartment. After 3 years of waitlist it finally happened and I got to break this bad boy out. Damn, it really does work, and WELL! So far I’ve made broccoli soup in it and 2 year out of date protein powder shakes in it and damn, it does the job and then some. I’m legitimately impressed, it seems much better than it’s predecessor I bought many years ago on woot, and I love it! I planned to make cookies this weekend so I get to try out the dough making skills and I hope it wows me again.

@baqui63 it does and will :)

@clarinetbob Baby arm
@clarinetbob @JonT Fruit Murdering Baby Arm.
@JonT - Even scarier, Baby arm appears to have a pulse (button).
I'm kind of mixed up about buying this...perhaps I'll go chopping later and purchase one.
I have the 771, bought it around May for $160, this one only has 1 mix cup, mine had two, the 772 on Amazon says this should have three...Still seems like a great deal.
I'm amazed there doesn't seem to be a "will it blend" in which they blend a smaller blender. Missed opportunity, I say!

@mellowirishgent Oh mine was new think it fell off a truck ..
Is this a stealthy or unstealthy ninja?
According to Amazon, BL772 has 3 Nutri Ninja cups, but this only lists one (making it the BL771?)... What gives?
ooooo you bastards- first you offer a run of contigo's that are perfect for margaritas, but wait till summer's over to offer the perfect margarita blender.
@alacrity bonus points. Feeling the urge to pull out the MP videos.

Frog Blender 2000
@bmf
I got one last time we sold them. In addition to breakfast shakes, pina coladas, etc., I've used it to mix cookie dough and make snow cones. A++++ would buy again (if I needed another one, which I don't).
Ummm @Moose I think you accidentally uploaded your demon summoning gif instead of your cookie dough gif.
I just bought the "2-in-1" Ninja blender and I didn't realize how much I'd use it. Its kind of great to use the personal blender cups every day. Unfortunately I don't need two blenders though.
Me and my friend Sam are willing to go in 50-50 on one. So who gets to use it first, Sam or I?
@mike808 Are there green eggs involved ?
@mike808 is "Sam" awake when you are? If not, sharing problem solved.
@mike808 you gays..
@ceagee, @RedOak, @satih:
Woosh! Read it slower so your lips can keep up, fellas. It's a Ninja.

I am having mixed feelings about this deal.
@mfladd yes I'm busy processing this offer!
@AttyVette I keep churning it around in my brain, but I just can't decide.
@mfladd Sometimes when I'm weighing a big decision, I get on my knees and puree about it. But this seems like a grate deal if you're in the market for one.
Is this deal for blended families ?
My BlendTec rules the roost, Meh
@mfladd cool! been a while sense baby arm was up for a photo shoot. Live banana slices and strawberries were squeamish to do this gif / jpg.
@Kylethephotoguy Great Job!!!!
I own a couple Ninja products and love them.
@mommacomet But how do you find them?
Hit the jackpot on the a birthday Fuku and got similar Ninja. Was DOA but got replacement base on Ebay for like $35. Was intent on drowning myself in pitchers of Margaritas. Hot dogs: When fruit just doesn't provide enough protein.
@cinoclav Yummmm!!!! hot dog smoothy!!!!
Bought one last round and the base unit is having problems. Because it's a refurb, no warranty.
Ninja has a great warranty on new units - If I had it to do over, I'd pay the extra for new.
Moofi has it for $114.99 open boxed, reconditioned. It's almost like they didn't see this sale!

I will blend my roommates inferior blender to bits with the total chopping power
