A nice leather purse I got for my wife. I guess the brand is legit and she loved the design and all the pockets. She doesn’t use it so much anymore but at one time it was her daily driver.
Now when she barks at me for buying crap on meh that we don’t need I just bring that up and our home is peaceful once again.
Thank you, meh!
@tweezak Purses/bags are such a difficult thing to get right when buying for someone else, so good job. Everyone has a different concept for how things should be divided up and slight changes disrupt the “system”.
I like a purse that’s just a single big compartment, then I organize with smaller bags inside it. Even if those smaller bags are ziplocs sometimes.
@brennyn Personally I’m with you. I would choose a big bag with a big opening that I could fit a microwave oven into. My wife likes smaller purses with lots of pockets so she can hold up the grocery store line checking every one for her credit card.
I actually showed her the picture before I ordered it and got her approval.
She never used the power bank but rocked the purse forever. I think she still uses it once in a while. Keep in mind she has a large collection of Dooney-Burke and other bags to choose from.
@brennyn@tweezak Blast from the past! I was the buyer on this one but the real OG charging purse/wallets were these babies bought by our fearless leader @alepp
@alepp@brennyn@mandirose The past, indeed. Back when you used to sell some quality products (remember the coffee maker and the Blendtec?). Boy, those were the days. Now it’s pretty much stuff you are embarrassed to tell people you paid money for.
For practical reasons my refurbished shark vac which is still going strong. And the fuku that was made especially for my grandkids back in the days when meh would do that on occasion. They had a fantastic christmas with those gifts from santa meh.
Besides my beloved Bubba bottles, sending boxes upon boxes of random pasta may have been the best purchase ever. I’m sure I have a ton of items from back in the good days that still make me happy, but I’d have to go back through all my purchases to figure it out.
The best thing I bought was a VMP membership so I could hang around and meet all the odd, wonderful people here. I’ve really made some wonderful friendships for $5 a month No Ragrets!
@BPL5683@caalsio@mandirose@ragingredd I bought so much garbage I don’t need because it was Friday at midnight and cheap. I WOULD LIKE MORE BUNDLES PLEASE.
As a Buyer, my best deal was the one and only Swiffy. Beautiful but likely useless. The peer pressure around the office for people to purchase this item was incredible.
The most impressive product test and an entry into the category of products you never knew you always needed… The Shirt Butler.
My wife just asked when we will sell these sponges again as we are finally through with them… She was genuinely sad when I told her there was no way to replicate that deal.
@alepp Did I order 2 of the Swiffers, Yes. Did they somehow manage to not pick up a single solitary spec of dust or dog hair…also yes. But man were they ascetically pleasing
@alepp@mandirose I bought a few of those and disconnected the cutoff for the proprietary filter. They’re still in use, I get lots of dust, my house must be dirtier than yours.
I really love my Blisslights. I have a bunch of them, all of them from Meh. I love that all my lights are on a schedule without allowing Amazon or Google access to everything I say. The app is really good.
Alright I’m chiming in and switching this up. My top five favorite buys I’ve ever done as a buyer are
Olio Model One Smartwatch - My first big meh deal, ran on my birthday so made it even more memorable. The highest of highs and the lowest of lows when they turned off the servers.
Honorable Mention: Threaded Bedding - Truly one of my most under-rated buys I can recall. The best quality bedding I’ve ever bought and I purchased a lot of it for my own home and still use it all 5 years later. I’d describe my taste as Restoration Hardware on a meh budget so this really fit the bill.
Fun to reminisce! Thanks for everyone who shared their favorite purchases, it’s been fun reading what your favorite Meh deals have been over the years
@bren01@snapster I’m printing this out and framing it. I never thought I’d live to see the day this was someone’s favorite Meh product they ever bought.
Several years ago I got a Food Saver at the recommended of my brother, my first Meh Moment. Still use it today. But my favorite is the self inflatable air bed I use camping. Its at least 3 years old and still doesn’t leak. The over the ear buds were goog untilone developed a bug about 4 months in. The last were hoses… they’re still Ina box and will probably be a white elephant gift at Christmas. Whay do I buy some of this crap!?!
YEARS ago, they had two Emerson TV’s for the price of one. I used one, gave the other to a neighbor so her kids would have a tv. Used it for years until the sound finally died. I think that was my first meh! purchase.
@Tadlem43 I bought the same ones. One arrived with a broken screen so meh refunded that one. I took all of the guts out of it. The other one finally quit, so I pulled the board out of it and replaced it with the one from the broken one. It is still going strong.
Any and all of the random art supplies I’ve bought throughout the years. I delusionally thought I would have time in life to art. Now I have kids and they use the stuff constantly.
Three different kitchen things that I still use: Foodsaver vacuum sealer, sous vide gadget, and some Cuisinart stainless flatware. Oh. Also a fish spatula, but that might have been from a sister site. Of course most of my wardrobe feels like meh shirts, and I still use some meh pillows and socks. There’s been junk too. But that goes without saying.
Been here since the beginning - Kickstartet - and a VMP as well.
So many things, but the pasta drops that brought so much comic relief during not so funny times, my Irk Plushie and my Irk that Joe curated w Wonder Woman themed items!!!
@Nate311 Honestly a ridiculously under-rated comment. The Lovesac Sactionals were an incredible deal. We actually made a mega couch at our old office that we used to watch our television features on when they aired live during the work day. I spent many afternoons working on this bad boy before we went remote
I was going to say my reusable vacuum bags + vacuum sealer. But I’ve since paid full price for Unsimply Stitched sock replacements. 7-ish years ago there was nice Roborock robot vacuums which are still going strong.
I have those metal drying racks that roll up. I didn’t use them for a while, and now they protect my new (but already deteriorating) countertop from ikea.
Forgot I also got a good air fryer in an IRK once until my apt became infested w german roaches and we had to toss it. A sad day.
There was a good webcam I got that I ended up having to track down a dupe bc I liked it so much.
I must have also really liked my jlab earbuds because I’ve bought several others since then but def don’t have the originals from here.
A few duds on my orders list, but I buy so infrequently that it thankfully doesn’t make up the majority of my purchases.
My favourite water bottle with a sippy cap, LK’s herb-a-licious turkey sticks, a bird camera feeder, a leather duffle bag, some garden gnomes, some foamy gummies, Liquid IV
@rcwbbb@mehvid1 They were Vegobears! I actually saw them sold at my local organic store, but they weren’t the foamy kind (and Warsaw assay more expensive)
@mandirose
Polti steam mop
A weird product steam bucket with a dry mop?!
Yeah that one wasn’t what I thought it was, meh…total irk moment.
True & Tidy Multi Surface Steam Mop! But this one is great just what I was looking for:
True & Tidy Multi Surface Steam Mop!
This steam cleaning mop is easy to use and does a great job with little effort, kinda like ‘Swiffering’
Juice boxes. I have teenagers, and they always need to charge devices at inconvenient times and in inconvenient places. So I like juice boxes. Especially ones with built-in plugs and cords. Yes, please.
i think i got those grill sheets from meh? they’re great. also some undercabinet lights that still need to be installed… “won” a set of luggage in an irk which i gifted. a bunch of stuff, now that i’m thinking about it… of course i don’t have a complete history since my account got screwed up and had to be re-created
Can I split the vote?
@narfcake bought that cat shirt for my (now) husband. he loves it! i miss the weekly shirt drops
@catthegreat @narfcake That cat is one of my favorite shirts.
Easily half my wardrobe is meh t-shirts
@TheGreatNico all my grocery bags are IRK bags LOL
@nobile @TheGreatNico
I use the bags for everything. I call them my mark Jacob’s the bag bags lol
A nice leather purse I got for my wife. I guess the brand is legit and she loved the design and all the pockets. She doesn’t use it so much anymore but at one time it was her daily driver.

@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “deadpan workable button”
@mediocrebot Yeah, that’s workable.
I have a few things, my Meh shirt, Remington knives, red comforter, red shark vacuum thats still being used.
Who misses 2 for Tuesday?
@ragingredd Have I been oblivious? I thought twofer tues was still a thing??
@caalsio @ragingredd Remember weekend bundles?

@caalsio @ragingredd @sammydog01 @BPL5683 they’re asking about the bundles again
@BPL5683 @caalsio @mandirose @ragingredd I bought so much garbage I don’t need because it was Friday at midnight and cheap. I WOULD LIKE MORE BUNDLES PLEASE.
@sammydog01 sounding like a true addict
“These are terrible. It’s like kissing Grandma. Give me ten more.”
My car garbage containers are AWESOME
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

@alepp I love those sponges. I have the green ones. I like them better than Scrub Daddy because food doesn’t get stuck in the crevices as badly.
@alepp @mandirose I bought a few of those and disconnected the cutoff for the proprietary filter. They’re still in use, I get lots of dust, my house must be dirtier than yours.
@alepp loved the sponges, I agree w your wife you need to sell them again
Expired instant ramen has never been a bad move.
@brennyn oh yeah, that and the hummus
I really love my Blisslights. I have a bunch of them, all of them from Meh. I love that all my lights are on a schedule without allowing Amazon or Google access to everything I say. The app is really good.
@Fuzzalini I currently am using one for my night-time red light!
@Fuzzalini @nobile
I have a bunch of those too
@nobile I have most of my lights turn to red at 10 pm. I do have one of those lights as well, but I didn’t have a spot for it right now. They’re cool.
Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker that came in my IRK.
Cheap snacks.
My avocado pool float and the irk that Joe curated.
@sillyheathen
I might still have an avocado pool float somewhere
@Star2236 I still have two I need to inflate.
One can never have too many avocados!
Complete sets of Cuisinart and Calphalon pans from separate IRKs.
@klynb
I bet. That is 2 very nice irks
I’m going to go with the Clawz clogs from a few years ago. Not for me, but my nieces and nephews loved them!
@IWUJackson
I still have some, I use them in my basement.

A set of six different colored large coffee mugs.
@bren01 Please tell me you mean these mugs - if so, you’ve made my day
@mandirose YES! I still have them. Best Meh purchase ever!
@bren01 @snapster I’m printing this out and framing it. I never thought I’d live to see the day this was someone’s favorite Meh product they ever bought.
@mandirose @snapster I always knew I’d be famous, but I didn’t think it would be over coffee mugs…
I like a lot the crap, but this has lasted for over 10 years :
This showme will be interesting …
/showme spicy active cougar
@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “spicy active cougar”
@cfg83 @mediocrebot Meow!
@mediocrebot @mycya4me Meow is right. I was (obviously?) expecting an older woman.
@cfg83 @mediocrebot @mycya4me where is that tail coming from?
@cfg83 @Fuzzalini @mycya4me
I’d guess Boulder.
@Fuzzalini @macromeh @mycya4me
Boulder, Colorado?
@cfg83 @Fuzzalini @mediocrebot @mycya4me That’s… a straw right?
@Fuzzalini @mediocrebot @mycya4me @pakopako Ummmm, could be.
Unsimply stitched socks, WET brush three pack, and all those damn kind bars. Instant rebuys.
Several years ago I got a Food Saver at the recommended of my brother, my first Meh Moment. Still use it today. But my favorite is the self inflatable air bed I use camping. Shirts, cold brewer, ice and snow brush and more. I use these all the time. Who knew that Meh would be so good?
Can’t decide… The Winix air purifiers (extremely practical and constantly in use) or the Tiny TVs (extremely whimsical and utterly useless!).
The Laegendary from a week or so ago, it’s loud but so much fun, lol
Purchased (refurbed) August 2015, still in daily use…

A remote control space heater.
Dog toys for my wife’s dog.
Pack of four electronic doodle pads that i have used for home, two different jobs, and a gift for a coworker. Great for daycares.
My favorite was my first (12y ago?!). I got them on 2-for Tuesday for my nearly twin girls, who still use them daily, 12y later.

2-For Tuesday TVs

Shark carpet and upholstery spot cleaner. If you have cats, you know why.
A couple cool wind up watches. One broke the second day but the other is still ticking.
I’ve had some really good purchases over the years. I have to say currently, I really like the Tommy John boxer briefs. I wear those things everyday.
The cases of wine have been excellent gifts to those who enjoy that sort of thing.
I also use my windshield cleaner almost everyday. That was probably an impulse buy that turned out to be a great buy.
I bought a couch. I use it everyday. Thanks meh.
@Nate311 Honestly a ridiculously under-rated comment. The Lovesac Sactionals were an incredible deal. We actually made a mega couch at our old office that we used to watch our television features on when they aired live during the work day. @mandirose I’m only set upwith seven bases, but over the years I’ve often thought I should get two more.
I was going to say my reusable vacuum bags + vacuum sealer. But I’ve since paid full price for Unsimply Stitched sock replacements. 7-ish years ago there was nice Roborock robot vacuums which are still going strong.
2 different blenders for smoothies, as I make smoothies everyday. My hemp socks. They’re so warm and cozy for spring and fall but not too hot.
I have those metal drying racks that roll up. I didn’t use them for a while, and now they protect my new (but already deteriorating) countertop from ikea.

I have bought some great portable chargers!
I’ve bought a few folding knives. My favorite being a “poop knife”. IYKYK.
My favourite water bottle with a sippy cap, LK’s herb-a-licious turkey sticks, a bird camera feeder, a leather duffle bag, some garden gnomes, some foamy gummies, Liquid IV
@nobile by foamy gummies do you mean those organic(?) French ones? Those were pretty good indeed.
@nobile Weird name for gummies but that’s the French for you. I got those too with some hesitation but I ended up enjoying them.
@rcwbbb @mehvid1 They were Vegobears! I actually saw them sold at my local organic store, but they weren’t the foamy kind (and Warsaw assay more expensive)
A remote controlled stand fan and a steam mop.
@jkawaguchi the polti steam mop??
@mandirose

Back in 2019 a blue tooth speaker.
I don’t know where it is!

My vacuum insulated cups
Pineapple jerky. Seconded by dark chocolate, noodles, and one rare IRK (though I didn’t know it at the time).
Though the Meh I still use to this day is my trusty Ninja Foodi. (Oh, and door locks.)
I bought an Ooma voice over internet box in February 2016. Still going strong except kind of sticky, I think it’s disintegrating.
@sammydog01 If the plasticizer is degrading, try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol.
