Sadly, but thankful to my wallet, I can’t buy woot shirts anymore. I tried a couple months back, and their quality has gone to shit. Lower quality shirts, and MUCH lower quality printing that cracks peels and flakes off.
@narfcake OK so you have shown us a photo of your huge pile of cat shirts. And they are in a minority of shirts? Photos please!
Does @tinamarie1974 have more shoes in her impressive closet than you have catshirts? Would all your t-shirts even fit in her fantastic closet?
If you had enough jeans and underwear (well presuming for you underwear isn’t optional) could you go more than a year without doing laundry before you ran out of t-shirts? Hmm that might be worth it. And I can tell you for sure it only takes about 80 hours to do all but 35 bags of a bit more than 200 bags (55 gallon bags) of laundry in commercial machines at the no kill shelter so likely you could do it all in a day or two tops at a laundromat. Might be worth it. And think how long your t-shirt collection would last if you only wore them once or twice a year.
@narfcake Holy Crap!!! That is a rather spectacular collection!!! And as @tinamarie1974 asked, “do you wear them all”. And do you have favorites? If you have favorites do you not wear them much so they won’t wear out or do you wear them a lot because you like them a lot?
In order of prevalence
T shirts… About 45% free from blood donation, 40% travel/diving souvenirs, remainder were gifts
Dress shirts, about 50/50 long vs short sleeve
Casual button ups (almost all tropical style)
Sleeveless Ts for outdoor work (culled from the first category with sleeves cut out)
A few Henleys and sweaters… Mostly used during winter travels because… Alabama…
Oh and of course a butt load of scrub tops.
I wear a lot of blouses, but not button-up ones, usually. I used to have a lot of tshirts, but since I don’t wear them to work, I’ve stopped buying them for my wardrobe.
Tees, thanks to Meh.
@awk I’m similar – Tees, thanks to shirt.woot.com.

@awk @Bandrik AKA The China Syndrome
Most are not catshirts, actually.
@narfcake
/giphy WHAT!
@tinamarie1974 I only wear catshirts on days that end in ‘y’.
Today’s shirt is Space Racing Stripes. Because purple.
@narfcake I love purple.
@narfcake and yet no cat in sight! Are the cats aware of this?

@Kidsandliz @narfcake you should know there is a second closet (guest bedroom) FULL of the shoes that would not fit in my new MB closet
@narfcake @tinamarie1974 Your “real name” then is actually Imelda Marcos. Right? (grin).
@Kidsandliz @narfcake I have huge respect for her collection
@Kidsandliz @tinamarie1974 Well, given that there’s not a single catshirt here …
… and that you should NEVER look at my 5-year shirt.woot entry …
… can I plead the fifth?
@narfcake @tinamarie1974 Of course not. Those aren’t cat shirts. They are a painting of cat shirts
@Kidsandliz @narfcake oh my gosh! So do you wear them all? Just curious…not like I wear all my shoes all the time…some are for special occassions.
