0Okay, so probably since the year 2002, I’ve been using this online site called Mr. Rebates. You buy stuff through their site and they have a, companies that give you anywhere from 1% to 20% back in rebates.
I’d say I make any where from 150 to 250 bucks every year, just buying crap on line.

So the other day I was doing some Christmas shopping and as I was scrolling down in the section where you can shop at specific stores that give you money back when and what did I notice? There it was a link to save 2% on any sale when you buy something from, our old friends at woot.com…
So because I knew I was going to make some money back whether it be a buck or two, I bought something on woot, haven’t bought anything on that site for possibly close to a year-and-a-half two years. So now here we go, how do we get meh to participate with Mr Rebates or Ebates.

Make sure to disclose referral links if you post them.
I’d say “make” is a strong term.
I don’t disagree with the gist of your post, though. There are probably a lot of people who would enjoy rebates on their Meh purchases, and the TV deal people might too.
@djslack Ive bought a few laptops and tvs over the years online and its been nice getting 10 to 15 extra dollars back after the fact.

Do these sites work in conjunction with my credit card cash back offers which must be initiated by clicking through the credit card website?
@ruouttaurmind You cannot stack offers. You must decide which offers the best reward. I have used these sites for many years and have done quite well. The way they work is the store pays mrrebates or ebates and then the rebate site pays you a portion. I miss “discover deals”, which they discontinued.

@sophi Discover Deals was great. 5% at Walmart was a great constant. Chase Freedom also had a similar Deals portal that also was discontinued.

Cashbackholic.com will tell you which cashback click-through site has the best cashback rates.
Mr. Rebates used to be better, but I find that befrugal.com is usually better now. There are dozens of these sites, though. It’s best to decide which one or two you will actually use and make it a habit to shop through them whenever possible. It does add up to real money back after a while.

@shahnm @thismyusername I so totally read this all wrong. I should know better than to try to think this late. I read the comments about referral links like I had to put one in my comment, not that I had to disclose a referral link. Totally left the site going to ebates trying to find a link…sleep needed now!
