9Wow! We are already 2/3 of the way through the month. Time really does fly
Today is new Identity day.
Is there something you’d like to change about your identity? Maybe you’d like to change your looks, or perhaps there is something deep down inside you’d like to change about yourself? Maybe you wish you had a whole new identity. Would this identity be completely of your own making? Or is there someone whose identity you wish you had? Today is for thinking who you might want to be for the day, whether that be someone else specific, or someone completely new. But why stop there? Why not take up your new identity for the day? Change your looks and personality to acquire whatever identity you wish to have.
Who or what will you be today? What would you change?

me. The only thing I’d change is my name. My last name is my ex’s and my maiden name is my dead-beat dad’s so I’d like to change it to my step-dad’s last name because he’s been my true ‘dad’. I know name changes are affordable and relatively easy, but not really when you think about all things you’d have to change it on. 
Who has that kind of time or energy?! If you do, hit me up and you can do it for me!
This goes back to the idea of ‘if you could go back and change your life’ would you do it? For me, oh hell yeah. I would absolutely love to have chosen a different path, especially right after high school. As for a temporary identity change, I wouldn’t mind being Chris Hemsworth at the moment.

@cinoclav @lseeber although I won’t turn a blind eye to Chris Hemsworth, I would take someone like Kevin James every day of the week! He is cute, funny and the type of guy I want to cuddle up with.

@cinoclav I am just pointing out that someone does not have to look like Chris Hemsworth to be attractive. There are many things besides someone’s looks that play a role
Now if you already have 6 pack abs, please don’t change a thing lol

Right now, my looks. Looking at old photos I couldn’t believe how skinny I was. I’ve been on meds for years and gained a lot of weight due to them and it bums me out. The funny thing was, when I was thin, I wore baggy/oversized clothes. I never showed off having a fit body. I never really felt attractive, which looking back on it, was stupid. I had a lot more attention then. Now I’m invisible.
I’m working with my doctor on it. Hopefully one day I’ll be happy again.
@RiotDemon I know what you mean about oblivious about how you used to look. In high school I was 5’3” and 118 lb and thought I was fat.

But now we have perspective and know lots of people who aren’t “pretty” outside but are such good friends we don’t even notice.
So do what you want to feel healthy, but let thoughts of “I look bad” go. Your loved ones don’t notice a few extra pounds. (Unless they are like my good friend the very blunt personal trainer who I once asked to help keep me on track. Lol, oops, apparently I needed lots of help
I’d still be me just a few yrs younger again.
@lseeber Yep, I think I would love it if I (and my wife) could be physically 20 years younger, but with the knowledge and resources we have today.
