I’d like to shampoo on some memory foam, let it really soak into the scalp and forget that 2020 ever happened. If this were a real product, a foamy shampoo that would erase specific memories, tell me there wouldn’t be a line out the door.
Too hot. They have to advertise it as cool, because normally memory foam is just a big heat sink. Also, I like plush pillows that I can nestle in instead of ones that mold to my head.
Too heavy. Not comfortable. After using memory foam for a while it forgets to bounce back. Pre-made contours never fit my head and neck. Side sleeping on one causes my ears to go numb.
@Felyne Yeah I made the mistake of washing a really, really nice travel memory foam pillow (it was actually really comfortable when folded in half) and that made it go flat when I’d put my head on it. That was a sad lesson. They need to be put in pillow protectors with a pillow case over them to help them last longer since you can’t dry clean them either.
Memory foam is okay for about three days, then it gets soaked with enough sweat that it turns into regular foam. It’s astounding that companies have managed to turn “this pillow/mattress is made out of plastic” into a selling point.
It’s bad enough that the NSA and Deep State are tracking me and monitoring me through my phone, I don’t need them harvesting my thoughts and memories through my pillow.
we have a foam mattress and it’s fine (we couldn’t get a “traditional” king size mattress even if we wanted to though, stairwells both too small) but i have no interest in memory foam pillows. they’re just…weird and uncomfortable.
I purchased a medium firm mattress 12 years ago with the plan to have a replaceable memory foam pad on top that I swap out every few years. It’s worked out perfectly. It’s actually time for a new one. I have a very nice mattress pad that sits between me and the foam preventing the sweat. I also have a foam pillow almost exactly like the one they are selling today. The key to avoiding sweat on the neck has been a real silk pillowcase. What a great thing!! Though I’m tempted to buy these pillows, because my last foam pad had holes in it and that’s really help with the heat.
Bought a “cooling” memory foam pillow from Costco a few years ago and it supports my head well when I sleep.
Purchased a Homedics pillow similar to what Meh is offering today and hated it. Unlike the Costco pillow, this didn’t give me any kind of comfort and felt like laying my neck on a rock.
Purchased a memory foam foot rest and it works well. Doesn’t sink too much and isn’t that hard.
Purchased a memory foam seat cushion from Amazon and it actually hurt to sit on it after a matter of minutes - even with all of the positive reviews.
Currently trying a memory foam back support and it feels small. It’s not bad, but I will give it more time to see if I can make it work for me.

@wonidejack Only if it has a pleasing scent so you know that you have the good amnesia.
No, because Meh once sold me that bamboo memory foam pillow that was similar to a sack of cement. NEVER AGAIN!
Yes, because, uh, uh… I forgot.
A revolutionary storage technology that will be invented in 2029.
Sweaty

Nope. I don’t need any witnesses having a memory of what I did.
Squishy
An object can’t out think me.

Landfill nightmare, can’t wash.

I can’t remember if I already have one. Is that bad?

No, they turn to shit after a few weeks. They are dirt cheap over at big lots these days
Good quality memory foam is amazing. Otherwise like everyone else says: cement, too squishy, hot, forgetful, etc.
I prefer not to sleep on anything that needs to “off-gas,” thanks. My latex mattress and pillows are perfect for me.
I bought this here. It is good.
Yes. Because.
Shredded memory foam pillows. The only way to go.
Does not improve your memory no go why? I forgot…

Hit or miss with me:

Goose down, thank you.
It doesn’t work, I still forget where I put my keys.
