6It’s alive! That’s because I’m going to reopen it.
What is this thing that is alive and resurrected, you ask? The meh.com fantasy football league! For those of you that were in the league last year, you’ve got until 11:59pm on 8/31 to log in and claim your spot. Otherwise, it goes to someone that wants in. Roster size will depend on how many people are in the league just like last year.
Lastly, it’s FREE! Based on what I know about you guys, that’ll be your favorite part. If everyone wants to change that and play for a pool (probably $20/person), I’d be down for that too.

I’m the champion of the Mehntasy Football league.
The prize is bragging rights and believe me, I was planning to take full advantage, but after (possibly pointless) retrospection, I thought why mess with a good thing?
I was the eighth seed of our eight team playoff. Though this league is just for fun, as a believer of karma, I took the approach that instead of trash talking, maybe if I keep quiet, good vibes might come to my team.

i vaguely remember doing this on meh a few years ago. i think my strategy was to sign up and then do absolutely nothing the entire time. apparently, i still beat someone. even at my absolute laziest, i didn’t come in last. ahh… good times. there’s gotta be a life lesson in there somewhere, but i’ll be damned if i know what it is.

So this year, because of COVID, they adjusted the IR rules. It used to be that if you went on IR you were either done for the year or (if you went on IR before week one) you couldn’t come back until week 10. This year they’ve made it like the IL in baseball. If you go on it you miss 3 games minimum but there’s no restrictions for returning once you’ve missed 3 games.

@njfan @sammydog01 He looks like a little kid (Dalton). I was watching the game when the injury happened. I saw him grabbing his calf and thought “Oh man, he’s cramping up…” And then the angle changed on the camera and I thought, “Oh that’s a funny angle for a foot…”
@njfan @sammydog01 Also, if you’re a nerd about the medical / technical side of sports injuries, give this guy a follow. From my own experience with sports injuries, he’s pretty consistent with everything I’ve heard from my doctors & PT’s.
