Well I got 2 shirts today. Going to say I feel a little pissed off. I got black. I don’t see black listed. I see Brown, Navy, Cranberry, and Eggplant. I understand the concept of random, which i did select, but you didn’t list that black would have been an option. I would have paid the extra $2 had i know black was an option. Id also like to toss my vote into the “be more specific next time” pool regarding the random shirt option. I own every single style of shirt offered by meh and all in all my meh wardrobe is overwhelmingly grey and black. I was excited to get some additional random color shirts into the mix. Alas i got two of the exact same Meh flask grey shirt. I suppose that technically getting the exact shirt twice on a random pull could happen, im certainly frustrated.

Honestly, pretty disappointed that the random shirt doesn’t actually have ‘Meh’ branding on it… my understanding was that a random Meh shirt would be a random shirt with Meh printed on it somewhere. I just didn’t care about the color I’d be getting. Heck, looks like the comment above me got an actual Meh shirt with their order.
Not trying to knock the mediocre labs logo on the shirt I received, it’s okay I guess, but it does lack the gravitas and recognition of the Meh branding. Which is 100% of why I bought the shirt.
Please just be a tiny bit more specific about the randoms next time (you can even use a tiny font size). I promise I’ll foolishly give you money for the shirt I actually want. Also, please let there be a next time.

I ordered to random and got two black on black shirts. They are a little tighter, maybe, than previous American Apparel shirts I’ve ordered, but the tags are right, so I blame them. And they’ll still work as undershirts.

But you still danced around my question – because except for closeouts/write-offs/B-stock or lower, no one is getting USA-made t-shirts for $1 anymore. And that’s been well over the past two decades already. Probably 3 decades.
Seriously, what did you have in stock at 12:00:00, 3 each of each size? Major suckitude, folks. (What does it cost to custom print more tee shirts, FFS?) Sold out in one minute? This is a meta joke, isn’t it?

@ktammfinn often blanks for children’s sizes can be quite a bit pricier than the adult sizes in direct contrast with the lesser material cost. Add to that the fact that printing children’s sizes usually necessitates an additional setup and screen set with a reduced-size design to look reasonable and it drives the costs up. Another factor would be that it’s probably hard for Meh to project how many youth shirts they’re likely to sell which impacts the pricing they’ll get for them.
I was kinda hoping for a twofer mug and shirt combo. Nope. Then I wanted an eggplant shirt. Gone. Fine, just send me anything. ‘Busy processing other orders’, Fffff… I did eventually get one. Random.

Up until this past August was averaging a purchase every 6 weeks. Haven’t come close to pulling the trigger for the past 7 months.

These are not $1 t-shirts. AA paid seamstresses about $15 an HOUR. Not $15 per DAY in Honduras. Not $15 per WEEK in Pakistan or Bangladesh.
@narfcake Anytime that you buy bulk and wholesale, the price is much, much less than if you buy over the counter. When I bought them, they were less than a dollar each for the bulk that I bought. That was only a few years ago.

@Tadlem43 I am NOT doubting your pricing; I’ve had a little time “behind the scenes” too. The “not the shittiest shirt readily available” 5000, 3930, or PC51 in white can be had for under $1.50 in quantity – and not container-quantity either.
But you still danced around my question – because except for closeouts/write-offs/B-stock or lower, no one is getting USA-made t-shirts for $1 anymore. And that’s been well over the past two decades already. Probably 3 decades.
When you buy a shirt from a department store with their logo, you aren’t getting paid to “advertise” for them. Why should this be any different?

@ktammfinn often blanks for children’s sizes can be quite a bit pricier than the adult sizes in direct contrast with the lesser material cost. Add to that the fact that printing children’s sizes usually necessitates an additional setup and screen set with a reduced-size design to look reasonable and it drives the costs up. Another factor would be that it’s probably hard for Meh to project how many youth shirts they’re likely to sell which impacts the pricing they’ll get for them.
