@Ignorant @Trillian I figured out it was The Jets but at first I didn’t know if it had something to do with ‘Crush’ or just the band name. The fact that #1 is ‘Samoans’ and The Jets are Polynesian (the family was from Tonga originally) really threw me, thinking it had something to do with that area. But I was staring at #4 and #5 when ‘Jets’ and ‘Blues’ just clicked. It’s definitely a difficult puzzle if you’re not a hockey fan.
@cinoclav @Ignorant See, I saw “Samoans” and thought “Girl Scout cookies”, so when none of the other pics supported my theory, I went to the kitchen to chow down on my Game of Thrones Oreos. I didn’t get a coupon, but I still feel like a winner.
My image search of #4 only returned the word “performance”, so great job figuring that out!
@cinoclav I got more confused after you solved it. The fact I knew “Jets” and you posted “Sharks” had me trying to shoe-horn the other answers into “West Side Story”
@Trillian Thank you. That’s funny, because Girl Scout Cookies was also my very first thought. But I’ve never had any Darth Chocolate cookies. Somewhere in the ‘Visually similar images’ for #4 I found this one.
@DrWorm I also tried the West Side Story route once I saw ‘Jets.’ I only chose ‘Sharks’ because it was a fast and easy Google search so I could get my answer posted as quickly as possible.
Not sure about the theme, but I’m pretty sure that #2 is a laser sword from the classic 1979 sci-fi film “Starcrash.”
It was a long weekend of waiting. . .
I’m just glad the guys in #1 are kicking the crap out of these guys.
