I have the v18 model and love it. HOWEVER- I’ve had it for 2 years and have gone through 4 of their proprietary batteries. Now I can’t find replacement batteries anymore anywhere, and their support won’t get back to me anymore. I cracked one open to see if I could replace the cells, but because the “screen” and controls are are the battery itself, it’s a complex mess. So my recommendation is to stay far away - the batteries are trash and fail fast, and you’ll never be able to get a replacement when it fails.
@bronsonw I had that issue with an off brand vacuum too, that’s why I went with an LG this time around, as they have common parts / batteries available for ordering separately (and they make it sound like they will be available long term & are for their whole line of cordless vacs).
@bronsonw@Commonwealth109 And that’s why I went with the Ryobi that uses the same battery packs that fit my cordless power tools; drills, saw, etc. It means that I have a built-in supply of spares on hand, fully charged and ready to swap into service anytime, and can get replacements nearby. Of course, if you don’t have the power tools, this isn’t as much of an advantage. (Black & Decker also makes a cordless vac that share batteries with the B&D power tools, but not all of their vacs are configured that way.)

The JASHEN V16 is outstanding for pets. It has no trouble picking up pet hair, regardless of surface, and has a HEPA filter to help trap allergens as you clean. It has a simple-to-assemble design that lets you quickly remove the vacuum head’s brushroll and remove hair wraps, though quite a few parts need regular cleaning. The vacuum also comes with a turbo brush to help clean pet hair from upholstery.

I read all the reviews and I am still buying it. I have robots all over the house for the floors…this will be ONLY for the dog hairy stairs. I dont plan on going thru that many batteries. Cant wait to get this!
@heartny Usually, the spec is given in kPa, which would be just 26. And that number would be excellent if it was being measured at a significant rate of flow, but they don’t specify that. Most likely, the 26kPa number is at zero flow, which says nothing about its actual flow pressure differential.
@heartny kPA is how most if not all Stick Vacuums address there suction Power. Dyson, Shark and many more. Does 3770 psi make you better understand suction?

This vacuum isn’t the best for low carpets. It completely sucks at getting the small things like crumbs but is okay with getting the bigger items like thicker dust ninjas and such. Even at its price point, I would recommend getting something else.

Works great for quick clean up of pet hair and dirt. Need another for upstairs.
Bought it in March and it’s already dead just two months later. Refuses to charge. I’m done !

Worked great until one day power to the power head and light stopped working.
Unfortunately, this device doesn’t hold much debris, is not ergonomic, and impossible to buy another battery. I regret this purchase.
