I bought one of these like 10 years ago for like $50. The clip on them is super tight and won’t go over more than a single layer of clothing like a T-shirt, maybe a hoodie. Battery life was about 8-hours. I use to plug in a mono-earbud and listen to the radio while I was working in a retail setting and have a free ear to listen\talk to customers, and it’d be dead by end-of-shift.
Haven’t used mine in ages, but it worked fine at the time. If you have a value for a small (size of your thumb?) bluetooth receiver, it’s not a bad choice.
An off label use for something like this is to connect your new audio plug lacking phone to your old aux cable having car or home stereo. Just ignore the buds and make this your Bluetooth aux cable.
