I’m thankful that I have annoying but sober raccoons rather than a bunch of mean drunks.

The little things are big things when something goes wrong. I could write a book of the little things I’m grateful for. A warm bed, a nice roof over my head, food in the fridge, health. Legs that work, ability to help others, and the list goes on. A tooth is not thought of until it hurts or falls out. Every time I screw something up, I get a new day to make it right.
