@Felton10 you mean…you mean…I no longer get emails from meh?!! Its been such a long relationship. I was VMP until I moved and had to change my address…and I was dropped. Sigh. I don’t know what I did to anger the meh gods.
@btwonder They said wouldn’t be shipping until the end of April. Can’t believe they would have that many IRKs again or that someone would actually be waiting for 2 of them. Although maybe with all this virus crap they have time to clean out the warehouse and have a lot of crap to get rid of in the IRKs.
@btwonder@Felton10 Joke will be on us if there are no irks at all. They are getting rid of stuff 4 and 12 at a times so this seems like it would be less likely they’d have irks - as someone else said it’s more like a garage sale. Likely this is the only way for them to sell these kinds of low number left overs if they don’t want to dump them in irks.
@btwonder@Felton10 Well I was just wrong. There is an irk after all. 251 of them sold. I guess small numbers there too unless there will be a lot of them. The way they did the last irk it was cool that there were ones left over even the next day - so it wasn’t the fastest connection with the fastest trigger finger and no street lights that got it.
@dino2269 At the bottom of the write up on the home page of meh it gave a link to follow that sent you to sidedeals (didn’t tell you an irk was there). It sent you through a bunch of products and if you didn’t get sent back to the beginning to try again, there were irks at the end of some of those paths. Took until the next day for all of them to be bought.
As far as I can recall, this is a first for a mehrathon. Seems every single item has been allotted 15 minutes. I’m used to them running anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour per item. I like the consistency but it’s a lot more time consuming checking every 15 minutes.
I’ve seen this before. First few items are great prices and out of stock In Seconds. They have the office personnel buy it so no money changes hands and they don’t have to ship it out. Then they put crap on for high prices. Everyone is pumped up and doesn’t even think to look at the bad deal they just wasted money on. Good play MEH
I really need to get off this site today. I’ve got like 20 things got pretty much all of my Christmas shopping done. Now I’m just buying stuff for God only knows what reason. I guess now I’m just stocking up for that zombie apocalypse
@Lynnerizer Given my analysis of the number of deals and the speed in which the Meh symbol is rotating (time from midnight until halfway point of the rotation) i would say yes. Every 15 min (95 deals).
This has been a frustrating meh-rathon because I am probably moving sometime soon and really can’t justify buying anything (already have WAY too much stuff and nowhere to donate it at the moment). And everything’s been so good! I mean, crappy and stupid, but good crappy and stupid! Do I just want it because I can’t buy it?
