About half the time I post an image, it’s rotated the wrong way, and as far as I can see, there’s no way to fix it, and I have no prior indication of how it will post before I post it. -shrug-
@PooltoyWolf well, if you want to try uploading again we made a change to attempt to read EXIF metadata for rotation instructions. Hopefully this means photos display in correct orientation more often.
@f00l Currently using Android 6 Marshmallow on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, but in the future also an HP laptop running Windows 10 Home (which I suspect won’t pose problems).
@katbyter If you’re on a mobile device, rotate the device to landscape mode (sideways) before hitting the ‘reply’ button. More options for your post will appear, including a small image button in with all the options at the bottom of the dialog.
If you are posting mobile photos, I suggest cropping even just a little bit and saving the photo. That always fixes my issues.

If you notice it’s wrong, rotate the image outside of meh then edit your post and replace it with the correct image.
You could whisper yourself a post to test how an image will post in advance, I suppose.
