IRKs of Yore...or Yesteryear or whatever
10I am not a complainer but it has been a crappy 24 hours (a cherished pet died yesterday) and I am having a Hell of a time hunting the illusive IRK, so I am yippy.
That said, back in the day, didn’t the photo for IRKs change over the course of the day…or am I losing my mind along with my sanity today? Lately it has been the same photo for all IRKs throughout the day…so that is where my complaint lies. Dangle a different IRK photo to give me something to appreciate since all of a sudden I seem to be mistaken for a robot.
That is all…thank you.

I never give it enough time to load the picture.
$5… I click… And I’m still usually too slow
@OnionSoup agreed…but then I return and stare longingly at the doll heads in the beautiful yellow bag…sigh.
@cbilyak @OnionSoup @KoolHandJoe
I’m kind of surprised they haven’t monsterfied those doll heads.
@Koolhandjoe @Kyeh @OnionSoup BRILLIANT idea!
@cbilyak @Kyeh @OnionSoup I am game… all they have to do is ask
@OnionSoup I will never grow tired of those who start out with, “I’m not a complainer, but…” and then go on to only complain.
@elfunkman @OnionSoup LOL. I was laying the foundation for the fact that due to my shitty day I was going to complain even though that is not my norm. I am usually that smart ass sarcastic person that finds weird silver linings in most situations.
@cbilyak @OnionSoup Fair enough, and I didn’t mean it directly at you. I was just trying to have some fun w/ the phrasing. I’m also really sorry about the loss of the pet. That is one of the suckiest things that can happen.
So sorry for the loss of your fur baby. Or fin or scale baby whichever the case maybe
I am so sorry about your pet. That is so sad.
It was nice garbage, and at the end it was stuff like poopy diapers and rotting pizza. I’m still waiting for my pizza.
Sorry to hear that man. I just lost my dog myself. He was 17 1/2 so he had a good long life but that never makes it any easier. The new COVID lifestyle doesn’t help either but hang in there, it’ll get better.
I’m sorry for the loss of your pet. That makes everything harder, doesn’t it? Praying for your family - and I hope you get an IRK if you need the distraction.
I’m so sorry, loosing a pet is one of the toughest things. Somethings in the air, there’s a lot of suckiness going around lately! A IRK sure would be nice!
@Lynnerizer with COVID slowly fading the universe needs a new way to punish humanity.
@Lynnerizer @OnionSoup “the universe needs a new way to punish humanity” – I think not; we’ll still have politicians for the forseeable future. Won’t that be enough suckiness?
@OnionSoup unless you live in Michigan…
What a difficult day for you and your family.
I’m so sorry to hear.
Being that Walter is 25 and probably one day will have to say goodbye to us rather than us saying goodbye to him, I frequently think how he is going to react to the lack of freedom he will get from his new owner (hopefully my son).
I am not sure even a really good IRK would act as even a momentary distraction from the loss of a beloved pet.
@Felton10 true. At least the hunt kept me minimally distracted a bit over the course of the day.
My fur baby sends you a paw of condolence. I am sorry.
My birthday is next week so hopefully I will get a nice IRK this time. It’s been a while since I got one so I was glad to finally buy one a few weeks ago.
