Finally scored my first IRK and I’ve been here since day one. Did I have to pay an ungodly amount? Yes. Will I use all 13 $5 vouchers by December? Most likely. Did I pay waaaaaaay too much for this IRK? Without a doubt. Am I still stupidly happy I finally got one? Absolutely!
@hdog35 then Meh’s experiment has worked! Congrats! But wait, if you’ve been here since day one, how come you haven’t scored a fuku or fuko or IRK til now? I’ve been here since almost day one and I’ve snagged more than a few of each…
@hammi99 I’m not usually on the ball at all to grab them. Been so very close so many times at meh-ta-thons…. Had one cart ready to go only to lose out trying to complete checkout. The system puts slower ISP users at a disadvantage. Still happy today tho.
I think more than a few people are buying this “out of spite” especially if they have missed previous IRKs, they are probably frustrated and revenge buying LOL. Either that, or like me, they just buy a lot of crap on meh. My daily midnight diligence paid off, scoring the first $5 one and later on, the $20 one, so with 5 impending coupons, here’s hoping meh offers two things the rest of the year that I want 2-3 of…
@FreePasta SideDeal is always much more expensive than Meh (on the products that show up on both places). For instance, the recent Vitamin Energy shots were 48 for $48 on Meh and on SideDeal it’s 48 for $59.
I usually scour MorningSave and SideDeal and those two don’t usually have much that I want, or I can find similar cheaper on Amazon, etc. Whenever I see an item or MS or SD that I’ve ordered on Meh, I always check prices against my Meh orders.
Based on what I’ve purchased (non-exhaustive of what MS and SD has), only one time has the price difference been a couple dollars and I did order more on MS. The Quench skin care set was $19 on Meh and I ordered three more on MS for $20 each.
I know very little about computers so I’m going to ask the dumb questions. If someone is using a bot to grab irks do they have to turn it on everyday or can you just leave it running 365? Basically are there going to be folks who check in on meh this evening and find out they’ve spent $100s on irks?
Hmmm at $65 thats…letseehere… 13! 13 $5 coupons that can’t be stacked. 13 times Meh has to put something up I actually want… let me check my history… brb.
6 times so far this year & a couple of those I regret buying, although not instantly. I am pretty sure I will never be able to use 13 $5 coupons this year.
But that’s okay, I likely couldn’t click the button fast enough anyhow!
@rileyper@Trinityscrew yes, it seems to be one per transaction/order/purchase. However, you can break up the orders as long as you haven’t hit that limit for that day. I think. I say this because occasionally I have purchased an item and later in the day decided I wanted one or two more and I was able to place a second order as long as it wasn’t sold out.
