Honestly I’m glad i was east coat up at midnight. I got it for 5, may try again later but i definitely just missed out cuz i had to stop and question spending 50 on an irk… wtf. I hope they reset price later or cap it…
@placecm I imagine this’ll stop once an IRK gets so expensive that it doesn’t sell out in 30 minutes, so it’s an experiment to see how much people will pay for crap and $5 in credit on a bunch of not-so-crap items for the rest of this year.
@FreePasta That may be the real entertainment… how many people cancel in the half hour before the next launch… last one was down to 47 by this launch. I wonder if more people will retract as the price grows.
Thankfully I got a $5 IRK at 8 AM EDT. I really don’t get this. Any of this. I don’t understand the point of these insane prices that meh is charging. And I am flabbergasted (I love that word) by the fact that people are paying it. In seconds. Double-ewe-tee-eff?
@hammi99 Ten $5 dollar coupons that can’t be combined and that you have to use by the end of the year? No I didn’t miss it. I just know that most people won’t use them all. Hell. a LOT of people won’t wind up using ANY.
What would be interesting is if everyone ( and I do mean everyone) would all cancel their irks orders that cost more than $5! That would blow up in Meh’s face, so to speak. I think you would never ever witness another experiment like the one they are pulling on us today.
I bought 24 things from meh in 2021, and probably 4 things from SideDeal. Guessing about 70% of those things were IRKs. When buying IRKs, speed is of the essences and entering coupon codes is anathema to a speedy checkout process. I cannot see myself using 10 $5 coupons, even if they lasted a year.
