@xobzoo people just click to buy. With as fast as it goes there’s no way people have time to look at the price and make an actual purchase decision. They can cancel the order within the time limit after confirmation.
@studerc You able to buy them each time they come up? I thought it was 1 per 24 hours and if you got 2 they canceled out out. Maybe with this experiment that isn’t holding?
I was quick, too. Got the button and the scrolling bar but no luck. I think at some point these slow down, right? Like are people paying 40 bucks for them?
@madcow9100 that means 8 purchases from now til end of the year to breakeven on them coupons . . . Looks like every half hour, price goes up so might be much higher than $40 when we’re done today
I know this is some type of experiment. Possibly determining the price point for future IRKs, but most people won’t even realize what the price is. If they see an IRK for sale they’re going to hit the buy button.
They won’t get pissed off until later, when they realize that they just spent 15 bucks (or more) on a bag of junk.
The coupons are ok but I’m sure most won’t be utilized.
I have gotten more than a few IRKs and can promise they are not worth $15. I have the money to spend and won’t spend it. Best to you all on this flight of adventure.

Sold out within 15 seconds, even at the higher price point? What an interesting experiment this has become.
@xobzoo Or maybe my computer clock is lying to me. That is also a possibility.
@xobzoo I wonder how many people are slamming the buy button without even looking at the price.
@xobzoo the time it took for me to prove I wasn’t a robot

@xobzoo I’m also noticing now that there were only 50 in this batch, instead of 200. I but that contributed, as well.
@lljk @xobzoo Darn it, I did!
Got another
/giphy glad-cramped-cactus
/giphy broken-tilted-ramen
And I am good. Probably don’t need more than 3 coupons.

@cbooboo2 You’ll have better luck when it reaches $50 probably

Hoping I don’t cave and buy more.

@cbilyak Not sure if the rule still holds you can only buy one in 24 hours.
@cbilyak @Kidsandliz
“In the spirit of experimentation, you can still buy this IRK even if you bought one earlier (but why would you?)”
@cbilyak @MrMark Ah… OK.
Audio cap cha?!?!? Never had that before!
Can’t stop, won’t stop. Gonna buy every fucking one of them.
@studerc You able to buy them each time they come up? I thought it was 1 per 24 hours and if you got 2 they canceled out out. Maybe with this experiment that isn’t holding?
@Kidsandliz They have a disclaimer on the main page saying they suspended that rule for this experiment.
@studerc It wasn’t there initially.
Be worth it if the coupons could be stacked. As it is, probably not worth the risk.
3 captcha pages that didn’t have the images to click? Never had that before.
Beep beep boop boop. (I assume if you failed CAPTCHA you now understand Robot.)

Eh, why not… in for a second IRK even if it’s a little higher in price. Probably should stop for now. Curious how high they will make it!
Odd had it but somehow it wantedy CC info again
So I missed it.

They’re gonna make a killing off bots today
@triavalon And I am all for teaching the bot-boys a lesson where it makes an impact…in their bank account.
15 dollar IRKs. 20 dollars coming up.
I know this is some type of experiment. Possibly determining the price point for future IRKs, but most people won’t even realize what the price is. If they see an IRK for sale they’re going to hit the buy button.

@Trinityscrew I think it is a ‘screw the bots’ experiment.
@Trinityscrew I think you’re right. I didn’t realize that one was $15 until I started to read the info about the mehrathon and the coupons.
@crow Bots buy stuff from meh? Why? To resell?
@Trinityscrew Plus coupons don’t stack so you can’t use one with the 10% or 20% coupons they email.
The second picture looks slightly better
@mexicantacos You kidding? I wouldn’t have even tried to click if I didn’t see the first picture
So people are essentially buying meh gift cards they’ll never use because
Can you get more than one IRK or is it like the other site where you are limited to 30 days per one.
I have gotten more than a few IRKs and can promise they are not worth $15. I have the money to spend and won’t spend it. Best to you all on this flight of adventure.
