@LaserEyes so I feel like the last couple irks I’ve got were disappointing. But they each included a set of sheets (among the random other things). Not bad for $5, and with two kids in various stages of potty training and hopefully moving to their own beds, I can definitely use them!
Yeah, something’s going on with the website as of these last two IRKs. This one refused to load at ALL until over a minute past the end of the last one!
@yakkoTDI Yeah, I realized as I had the ‘click on all crosswalks’, I was not getting it. It’s like they decided ahead of time, here it is, you made it, ohhhh, so sad, ya didn’t.
I don’t know what is worse, the Brin Page Corporation saying I can’t buy an IRK or having so few for sale at one time they sell out before the page loads.
@radi0j0hn I think I’ve received 2 sets of sheets in 2 separate irks lately. Last one had some sort of iphone charger case, 3 lipstick things, and some masks. It had been pretty common to find one of those trackr pixels in the past. Maybe a wallet or purse that is way too ugly (but my kids have fun with them).
@radi0j0hn It can be literally anything that they sell, or have ever sold, and sometimes it’s art that their warehouse manager, Joe, makes that’s a one off. They’re really cool if you’re into horror themed things.
It’s mostly phone chargers of various forms, tracker tags with batteries that don’t work and Disney princess gift bags and Claws kids shoes. Sometimes socks and undies of random sizes. They used to always have weird coffee mugs that had handles that were only connected from the top (I have two and actually kinda like them), but I think they finally ran out of those.
I’ve also received a pressure cooker, a $120 toothbrush, $80 head phones and various bags that we use for pretty much everything.
They call it IRK for a reason. It’s mostly uselessness, but sometimes it’s surprising. It’s always kinda fun, even if you just donate most of the crap in the box.
@FrancesTaylor@radi0j0hn Yeah, occasionally someone gets something really great, but most of them are, as promised, pretty regrettable. Fun to wait and wonder, though!
@radi0j0hn Most of the stuff in them originally sold for more than $ 5-just depends if any of the stuff is things you can use whether is it worth it to you or not.
Most of the fun is in getting a box that you have no idea what is in it.
I did get one of the best things if not the best thing ever in an IRK-got an unboxed xbox series x late last year (someone else got just the empty box)-gave it to my son who registered it and it had never been registered before so it was new. Someone else got a new Sony playstation during another mehrathon.
Got one of these in 6 years , don’t get it, if you don’t have a super fast computer you can’t get one, they should send loyal vmp members one for free i have almost 200 purchases

Dang.
@walarney
Phone loaded right away, laptop didn’t.
Doesn’t mean that I bought one though.
And slightly corny that they sold 27 this time.
@FreePasta @walarney Probably a glitch that allowed 2 extra.

6x green bar
@cbooboo2 ain’t seen this many green bars since the dot matrix days
They have to be selling, like, 1.
@Llamallamalemon 25 at a time. This is down from 30 for the last few Mehrathons.
@Llamallamalemon @yakkoTDI
Hey now; the last batch had 27.
That’s nearly 10% more.
you’re an all-star
Just flat out would not refresh for about 20 seconds.
Yup. Too busy at my crazy job to go online during work hours and keep missing them at home. Meh don’t need it I guess
Super slow load
So many bars…
/giphy entertained-dirty-poppy
Just can’t get it on phone today, its too slow loading. Oh well
0 for 44, again “Whoops these are selling fast, try again” after five green bars, then sold out. I think I’m all set here

I effen hate the captcha. this SUCKS
I installed CAPTCHA to save my fellow robots from wasting money on this crap.
@TheMonkeyKing Wait until you realize that you can’t actually fail it but are only slowed down by it.
@yakkoTDI Yeah, I realized as I had the ‘click on all crosswalks’, I was not getting it. It’s like they decided ahead of time, here it is, you made it, ohhhh, so sad, ya didn’t.
4 in a row now the page just doesn’t refresh.
/giphy That’s all folks!
I feel I’ve been cheated on these all day. The last one gave me three green bars then said let’s retry that again then… guess what? Sold out! No o o o
@doxeelady literally 44 irks over three meh-rathons all with green bars and zero successes
I don’t know what is worse, the Brin Page Corporation saying I can’t buy an IRK or having so few for sale at one time they sell out before the page loads.
@yakkoTDI
To be fair, this batch had 27; the others had 25.
Finally got one - have done the green bar dance all day with no success.
@rm9116
Yay!
I thought it was my wifi that had slowed to a crawl, but I guess it was meh teetering on the edge of collapse :o
What, on average, is in these? Please don’t just say “crap.”
@radi0j0hn Here’s what was in the last ones:

@radi0j0hn Random crap.

@Kyeh @radi0j0hn I don’t feel so bad not getting on now. I guess I just like the hunt…
