@mellowirishgent they don’t care that’s why they did that stupid captcha . It was a lot better in the old days of meh as you could usually get one.at least during VMP hour— oh yeah they don’t do that anymore.
Much as it frustrates me though, I always find it amusing how people act shocked, SHOCKED! that they’re so hard to get, and self-righteously indignant. They’d better never go to Las Vegas. “It’s not fairrrrrr! !”
No, of course isn’t.
@Felton10@tinamarie1974 I guess I was too tired yesterday because I inadvertently lied when I said “I’ve only ever gotten 4.” I should have said I’ve only received 4; I did score the St. Patty’s day one, that got permanently stuck in a FedEx warehouse 13 mi. away; and I’m waiting for the April Fool’s day one.
i HAVE BEEN A vmp FOR YEARS… i SPEND way TOO MUCH ON THIS SITE… If only they actually cared enough to let a few of us actually get one… Being a VMP and spending $$$ seems to have little to do with getting an IRK… They should know be by now. I can auto log into site. I shouldn’t have to do the freaking Captcha, and it shouldn’t sell out in 3-5 sec… WTF!!!
@Mandamm A lot of the people competing for IRKS are VMPs. Sorry it works against your favor, but it prevents people from making a bot that scoops them up. Here is my captcha trick: find a website that requires you to do a captcha a lot, and every day do the captcha. It will increase Google’s trust that you aren’t a bot. Also, sadly, if you have any anti-tracking stuff turned on, or aren’t using a chrome-based browser, it is harder to build that trust. (you’ll still have to do the captcha with that trick, but you’ll just have to click the box instead of playing where’s waldo for street signs.
@er1c@Mandamm I don’t understand how captcha works but it took a whole ton of picking crosswalks to convince the Covid vaccine registration site that I’m not a bot. Then one day, poof, no more captchas. That’s on my laptop- my iPad still thinks I’m a bot. I love you too iPad.
