@creativecstasy Web problems is why. I kept getting the repeating bar over and over and over and over. Finally bailed. Refreshed page, still not sold out, tried again, same result. Then finally sold out.
@creativecstasy Mine timed out on processing and then said to try again later, then kept telling me, “Are you a robot? You can’t buy this if you’re a robot.” Then when I tried again, it timed out again and then finally said sold out.
I got “What item are you trying to buy” kind of message last night.
I got “Wow, these are selling fast, please try again.” Clicking the green button again then says “Are you a robot? You must tell us if you’re a robot.” But the checkbox is already checked and you cannot check it again. Only option is to refresh (on phone) or click outside the buying window (on PC) and try again but then you get “Sold out.”
In the past I got, “You can only buy one of these” but I didn’t buy one yet. I think they might set some sort of cookie after you buy one so you cannot buy a second. Makes sense but I think that cookie used to get set regardless if the purchase was successful or not (I didn’t have this problem yesterday). That was annoying because I don’t have a plugin for the browser on my phone to review cookies and it’s the only device I can use to buy things when I’m away from home.
@placecm nvm went to support and they can’t. Says i need to cancel and reorder. Like that’ll happen. Guess i’ll be making an awkward visit to the neighbors letting them know. Or i lose 5 bucks and they get a box of crap.
NOOO! It gave an error saying “We are busy” and then made me refresh the page because it then doubted my humanity after processing. refresh and try again, and after the bar went across several times it was sold out. I feel robbed.
Passed captcha…green bar like eight times then a message that we’re selling these fast try again in a little bit. Tried again passed the stupid captcha again …green bar five times sorry we’re sold out. Screw this
I see I’m not alone on being told I’m a robot! ARGH Checkmark didn’t clear and so I had to keep hitting the try again button until it would clear, then check it, then go through that whole process again. Happened 3-4 times before it said it was sold out.
For what it’s worth, I used this set of uBlock Origin filters to bring the page load time down to 300ms. This was the next Irk that popped up after filtering and was able to get it even with scrolling past the captcha/buy button initially.
Well I wish the delivery driver would have put the box on the porch where it wasn’t being rained on all day… kinda gives a different perspective on I stand regret when you pull up and it’s just sitting under running water.
