Last summer I tested the waters with various colors of a particular batik shirt that I can’t get enough of. I have like seven or eight of them now (definitely eight, I just counted them), some more subtle than others.
Winter, however, calls for long sleeves and neck protection. If turtlenecks with that pattern existed, I’d be set for life.
@TheFLP Do turtlenecks still exist? I tried to buy some last year, and the closest thing I could find was a zip-up kind that was not at all what I remember turtlenecks looking like…
@shahnm - I hear ya - I couldn’t find any turtlenecks locally, so ordered three off an eBay seller last year - made in China, where apparently wearers have long, narrow arms and necks, short torsos, and like a solid polyester fabric that traps heat.
I am a stay at home Wife & Fur Mama, & also have a bakery for animals out of my home, so I wear leggings or sweats w tshirts most of the time. However, I can say I’m dressed better in my “comfy” clothes than most of the POW (People Of Walmart) in my town. Why can’t you put sweats on instead of pajama pants people???!!! Are ya THAT lazy???!!!
Woah, dream come true. I do wear jeans & t-shirts to work. Or cargo pants and t-shirts. Or the occasional polo shirt with Dr. Who, Star Wars, or Star Trek graphics instead of a guy riding a horse. I even have a Space Invaders polo shirt.
I’m a software developer. I can wear whatever I want to work. Some co-workers wear shorts and t-shirt and flip-flops. I wear jeans and aloha shirt in summer. Jeans and whatever interesting long-sleeve shirts I can find in the winter.
I would drape myself in velvet if it were socially acceptable.
@jimmyjoemeeker Guess that depends upon where you hang out…
@jimmyjoemeeker
@ruouttaurmind
Already do
No pants at all…
Wait, I already do that! Working from home rocks.
(Though, with this awful cold weather, I did wear a sleeping bag to work this last week.)
@QuietDelusions pants optional days are the best.
Luckily, my work attire is jeans and t-shirts.
@RiotDemon Same, but with the addition of a flannel shirt or hoodie in the cool months.
Sweatpants and a tattered, but most comfortable hoodie.
Plate armor over chest and right arm, left arm bare, jeans, heelies, single shoulder cape, and a Dread Pirate mask.
A smile.
A bespoke suit.
I have to wear a suit to most of my jobs.
I want bespoke.
I can afford JC Penney {on clearance}.
…Work? What is that?
It’s more about what I wouldn’t wear, namely shoes.
Shoes come off when I get to work

@Fuzzalini You should blame @eonfifty, the Feb Meh (scape) Goat for your ignorance.
Us old goats have upside-down goat badges.
@eonfifty @mike808 I get the goat thing, it’s the I’m confused by. I like avocados, btw. Just putting that out there.

@Darrell2 There are such jobs…
I’d be an all out non-binary fashion show. But sadly I work in a factory and have to wear clothes I’m all right with ruining.

@shahnm
Turtleneck shirts, definitely. Dunno about the sweater variety, because I can’t wear anything really heavy.

@TheFLP Did you get the shirt online? If so, link please. I’m always looking for interesting shirts.
@aetris @shahnm Lands End, no need to shop anywhere else
@SSteve
Johari West is their web site, but they sell them for a bit less on Amazon.
@TheFLP Very cool! Thanks a lot.
Glen (and family) hides.
I already wear t-shit and jeans to both jobs.
@TheCO2 ??
@macromeh @TheCO2
This took me a few seconds and a re-look…now ILMAO
@macromeh Absolutely. No one comes near me, and they are nice and warm.

Shorts, t-shirt, flips. But then I’d have to keep the office at 85* to avoid freezing to death and the troops would mutiny.
Nice part of being in IT was being able to wear t-shirt and jeans all the time. Now it’s golf shirt and shorts since I stopped working.

I would wear graphic hoodies and jeans. If I could also set the temperature, t-shirts. I am comfortable at a much higher number than most people.

Work at home. Sweatpants and t-shirt or old, ratty, much loved, sweatshirts.
Shorts and a t-shirt.
leggings and a tank top, but i guess for some people that could fit into other categories. of course, i already do wear that every day “to work”, so.
