extremely sweaty. dew point is in the 70s and we haven’t put the bedroom ac in yet bc it’s supposed to cool off again. (and if it gets cool outside the bedroom will be hot if the a/c is in.) the living room a/c has been set at 69F for three+ days on high and it’s still in the 80s in there plus humidity. i run warm anyway and hate summer so it has been particularly miserable. too early for this shit.
@Salanth good luck! I use an a/c + a fan on high with a couple of very light blankets/quilts. I can add or remove the layers throughout the night as I have a night sweat or a cold spell. It helps, but is not a perfect solution
@Salanth I had night sweats for years plus hubby and I disagree by 10 degrees on what is comfortable inside. I used to sleep with multiple reusable ice packs. I would place one on my tummy, one behind my neck, sometimes move them under my arms. They lasted most of the night. Word of caution, night sweats can signal medical problems so if you havent seen your doctor lately please schedule an appointment. If these are menopausal hot flashes Gabapentin helped with mine as did Paxil. Its not the primary purpose of either but a welcomed side effect.
On the subject of sweat, any folks still using a fitbit? May I add you as a buddy? I signed up for their premium feature and it has a bingo game. That could provide some motivation to sweat and also be fun.
Not as sweaty as when I woke up. I’ve got a fever and had to peel my clothes off. It sucks being sick when it’s 93 outside. Currently I’m medicated and wrapped in a blanket. The a/c is on, but this sucks.
