7Science now proves our memory is better than mediocrebot, other robots and Artificial Intelligence. Except in chess. Our brains are more efficient at retrieving information. Take that mediocrebot! So you can also ban captcha’s too! Matching bicycles and forcing us to pick a motorcycle to be certified as human so we can spend our money tells you just how DUMB they are.

I don’t think we are finished exploring the limits of either AT intelligence/memory, or the human variety (tho that’s an interesting study).
In the meantime, I suss that captchas are simply a corp response to a real dilemma.
If there were no captchas, coders would simply write bots to grab all the IRKs, if coders wanted IRKs. @lichme has so confirmed, in the past.
And there we are.
I almost certainly can’t get an IRK anymore, when “timing”, rather than “finding”, is the challenge. Neither can so many others.
Unless Meh wants to limit or disallow IRK purchases based in frequency or something, I don’t expect to be getting IRKs. Captchas aren’t really the final barrier anymore (small sales lots are).
Often, since the lot size change, I’ve gotten no captcha when trying. And then, even with whatever approximates “perfect timing” in my case, IRKs are further than ever from my ever “getting”.
Curiously, this makes me pay less, rather than more, attention, during meh-rathons. I know I prob can’t get an IRK, even if attention and timing and network are perfect. And I can’t be bothered watching the site all day anyway.
So I mostly just stay in the forums when I have time/interest. Don’t bother with what’s on offer.
