Hue color bulb or standalone hue color

So here’s the deal… I have a closet where I game. One of the hue/razer announcements was hue integrated with razer chroma software for more intense gaming lighting for the whole room… should I get the color bulbs or a stand-alone unit? Anyone have any suggestions? (The fixture has today’s meh deal from a while ago in it 2 standard type bulbs. Won’t fit oversized bulbs and it can’t be a directional bulb)

Wow! Room lighting that changes based on the game is a great idea. I get immersed playing on my laptop with headphones. Relevant ambient light in a closet or small room would make gaming feel like an early version of a sci-fi holodeck.
