@capnjb How long before you are back asleep in some manner?
I have an issue with my dog waking me at some time, uniformly distributed between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. , for a walk. Usually by then my knees are hurting anyway, so walking her does ease the pain, depending on how aggressively she pulls me.
Afterward I realize I am hungry, fix something, then sit down by the computer while I eat. If I’m lucky, I’m back asleep within 3 hours or so, depending on how many rabbit holes I follow while on the computer.
If I don’t get back to sleep or a later nap, I crash by prime time TV. Hopefully my outdoor cats get fed before I repeat the cycle.
Weirder than most. I start out at the head of the bed under the covers and then sometime during the night I take both my pillows, go down to the other end of the bed, which means laying on top of the covers. So if my wife turns toward me she is greeted with the sight of my feet.
@Felton10@Kyeh Lucky woman! And you’re pretty lucky, too, since that’s prob the only reason she still lets you sleep in the same bed with her! Or, live in the same house, for that matter.
@Felton10@ircon96 Depending on whether you have morning breath, feet could actually be better! But trees, lucky for both of you that it’s not an issue.
How the fuck should I know? I’m asleep during the whole thing…
Rotating slowly, like a rotisserie chicken.
Not like this!
Like a baby. I wake up crying and have to pee. Often.
In a dumpster fire, like an American.
Partly between back & side. In my younger years, it was full-on side. I’m not sure what happened… General decrepitude, i guess.
Velcroed to the ceiling, like Batman.
With my eyes shut, in any position, on any surface, as long as I won’t fall. I’ve had years and years of international travel for practice.
@hchavers Don’t forget to set an alarm.
On my stomach.
Toss’n’turn all
nightday long.On my side, then my back, then my stomach for a minute, then on my back again, then side again. Like a lunatic.
Horizontally
Pretty well, thanks for asking.
Poorly.
Umm, why? Are there gaps in your surveillance?
When I see this question, all I can think of is
On my stomach, usually with my arms under me or stretched out at weird angles. It’s the only way I can sleep.
With my doggo incrementally edging me to the side. Damn is he a bed hog.
all the evidence is gone, so i sleep quite well.
Anything and everything except for on stomach
Side or back, but if I’m on my back, sometimes my arms end up in the air.
All of the above.
I sleep in any random position until my brain wakes me up and tells me to go do some shit. That’s normally around 3AM.

Soundly, with my eyes closed. I start on my stomach and somehow wake up on my back. Always thankful I don’t choke myself w my cpap tube!!
Very well.
All of the above throughout the night!
Sleep? I think I remember what that is. Maybe I need some. What was I doing?
Do they sell sleep on SideDeal?
poorly
In work conference calls, but have to make sure to mute first,‘cause, snoring.
With my wife…

@Felton10 That is super weird!
@Kyeh No kidding. Been doing it for years.
@Felton10 @Kyeh Don’t you mean “smell”?
@ircon96 @Kyeh No her sense of smell left her long ago which has been a benefit to me in many ways if you know what I mean.

@Felton10 @Kyeh I hadn’t thought about morning breath, so many hazards to sharing a bed!
@Felton10 @ircon96 And rereading my comment I’m not sure what “trees” was supposed to be - I think I meant to say “true.”
I sleep in what is left of the bed after 4 cats have claimed most of it and have finally have decided I am allowed a spot too.
