I had one of these a few years ago and it has a bad habit of emptying the water in the tanks all over the floor when it ran. I ended up putting it in a short plastic storage container to keep it from getting water all over the floor. I wouldn’t buy one of these ever again.
I had this exact unit. It is very heavy when full (the water alone is over 20 lbs.) and unwieldy to move around. And it’s noisy when it runs. But worst thing is it leaks a lot! I ended up putting a big tray under it, but enough water would accumulate that it was a mess to drain the tray every day. This is way more trouble than its worth, IMO.
@CBL_WV So you just put it a room somewhere and the mist is supposed to get throughout the whole house? How does that even happen? What if it’s a 2-story house? Maybe I’m tired, but I’ve got questions about this, and I’m not even going to buy one.
@CBL_WV@lisagd Not the mist itself, no. The mist most gets turned into water vapor and carried with the air, which naturally mixes with the other air in your home unless all the doors are closed and you have no ventilation. Same as any other humidity.
