I wish I still had the pix of the then-2-year-old friend’s kid dressed up for Halloween as “Dorothy” in I think a gingham outfit, anyway her outfit matched one from the 1939 film.
She was accompanied by the 200-lb giant black mastiff-rottie-combo-mutt (who was very much the taller of the two) and said mutt was wearing a hat labeled “Toto”.

@carl669, have you (or anyone else here) tried using something like “Alexa, play thunderstorm sounds” to desensitize a dog to these sounds? Mostly just curious (my cats don’t care about thunder or fireworks) but my girlfriend’s dog could use some help.
