@rockblossom@UncleVinny The Twin Peaks finale aired while we were out of the country on our honeymoon. I had set up the VCR to record it while we were away, but my new in-laws were staying at our house for a few days while we were gone and it “somehow” didn’t get recorded. I watched for a rerun for months, but it did not happen. It was years before I finally saw the last episode.
(I eventually forgave the in-laws.)
@macromeh@UncleVinny Interesting that no one talks about Season 3’s ending and its meaning. But then, maybe no one has seen S3. Or they saw it but understood none of it. Or did understand it but are so traumatized they refuse to remember. Or …
@macromeh@rockblossom I still haven’t seen season 3, which is about right. It took me over a decade to see the first two seasons!
And TBH, though there are excellent nuggets in season 2, there’s waaaaay too much James and Donna. Way, way way too much. And that makes me suspicious that S3 might just be a James & Donna Revue.
@rockblossom@UncleVinny TP season 3 - don’t have Showtime, haven’t seen it.
TBH, as much as I enjoyed the original 2 seasons at the time, I’ve since tried re-watching them on Netflix and lost interest pretty quickly. (I still enjoy the soundtrack CD, though!)
Pasta, bricks of candy corn, laxative teas, among others. But just remember:

@macromeh @sammydog01 I was gonna post the photo of him crawling over the couch, but I couldn’t handle it.

@macromeh @rockblossom this story hurt my soul! How’s Annie, BTW?
@rockblossom @UncleVinny It was all great until she moved to LA and started rolling around on skates and shooting those vile porn films.

Hi! Here’s the most recent weird thing I bought - a surprise retirement present for a coworker later this year …
@Kyeh I bet it was the best gift ever!
@ShandaSunshine Well, he hasn’t gotten it yet, but he’s a Cthulu fan so I think he’ll get a kick out of it.
Hello Welcome to the weird!
Hi!
