@cinoclav Yeah, that’s not fair. All places of employment should allow scrubs. Social norms that dictate “business casual” are seriously inhibiting both comfort and job satisfaction in the typical office environment. Why does it matter what a person wears? Maybe I should start wearing scrubs and see if I can get a trend started…

@medz The best part is not giving a shit what you spill on them. You’re never ruining your good clothes. Really, the only drawback is the rare occasion where I have to go to another hospital right after work only to find out that the color I’m wearing is usually the same as what their housekeeping staff is wearing and people look at me like I’m supposed to come clean their bathrooms.

@cinoclav I get why some hospitals use color coded scrubs… it would suck to work in a department where you hate the color though.

@RiotDemon It’s definitely easier to recognize the staff and their roles but I do miss wearing random colors. I have a stack of scrubs at home that I haven’t worn in years. Our department (radiology) wears hunter green. Our nurses wear navy blue. Ironically, the nursing students wear hunter green, while our radiology students wear navy blue.
