Uh, why does one picture show “decaf” and “regular” buttons, while the other pictures show “regular” and “bold” buttons. How would the coffee maker brew a decaf cup differently. So confused…

@Kevin I have always been disappointed that my Keurig only goes up to 10oz at a time. I have to go through two cycles at minimum to fill my favorite cup.
The K folks have sold a refillable cup into which you place your favorite ground coffee. If you can find the refillable container, that method offers a sizable savings and keeps some plastic out of the trash.
@tomvarela – I found the refillable cups on Amazon. I don’t think Keurig ever made them. Keurig is dedicated to making itself a bit of profit every time you do anything.
I use the Krups coffee maker I bought here and if I add one(1) scoop of coffee and pour one(1) cup of water into it,the darn thing makes one (1) cup of coffee. The old Krups can make two,three,four,etc cups because we work together,I do the thinking and Old Krups does the brewing.
Bought one of these almost two years ago for the office after seeing all the plastic cups pile up. (The coffee lasts for a few minutes and the plastic lasts for thousands of years…feels wasteful.)
It works great, and it is NOT hard to clean. We like it a lot. Our street has a Peet’s shop and a local roaster, but we also stick company-bought Folgers in there too.

There’s already non-keurig k-cups available. The Dazbog coffee I like to drink is not official k-cup. Of course, if Keurig fails for a reason other than running out of their revenue stream of licensed k-cups because the knockoffs are too good, there may not be a whole lot of market for the knockoffs either.
Also, Dazbog has far more varieties available in loose coffee beans than they do in k-cups, so this would be more flexible.
Cleaning these things sucks ass.
And … I will put my k-cup brewed cuppa up against yours any time. I can count on one hand the number of truly bad cups of coffee I’ve ever had with my Keurig. Coffee elsewhere? Oh, the humanity!

What’s the write-up referring to when talking about the nook? I have one, it uses Google play. I don’t need anything from Barnes and noble, that I know of. I hardly ever use it now. Still curious though. What am I missing?
@sammydog01 Yep. Same concept: buy the reader, buy books to read on it. I understand B&N no longer makes the Nook, though; Amazon sorta swamped them with better (and pricier) units.

As far as I know, the Nook e-reader is still around.
@dashcloud that must of been after I got mine. Mine was a gift, and opened, and played with, by the time I actually got it, so I couldn’t return it. When I got it, it was not loaded with the play store. It only had the nook store which was awful for apps. I was so happy when they added play. I kinda forgot about that.

We have 3 HD+ tablets running Cyanogenmod (version of Android) that sit idle most of the year. When traveling, we load them up with movies and tv shows as well as having access to the Kindle and Nook online bookstores. They work great keeping the kids entertained on long trips where we don’t have access to WiFi.
Because the HD+ (and HD, I presume) take micro SD cards you can take additional videos along. The tablets don’t have cameras, bluetooth or GPS so they’re really limited in what they can do. And they have a proprietary power connector but cables are cheap on eBay.
The HD+ is 1920x1080 so it’s great for reading or watching videos. Probably not so great for playing games anymore.
The modern version would be to get a Kindle cheaply and either use the Google Play Store or replace the Kindle software with a more open Android version.

Mine came today. I understand that it is a refurb, but it was dirty! One of the filter cups has a place in it like it was dropped or someone/something chewed on it. I’ve been happy with most of my Meh purchases, but definitely NOT this one.
Got mine today too, made exactly ONE cup of hot water (initial cleaning cycle) and now it won’t even do that again. Light blinks for 3-5 secs then it just shuts off. Return time.
Mine came, PO did not want to deliver, I suspect since it originated with FedEx. PO did deliver, no explanation for the prior refusal. The coffee maker works great. Wish I had bought two. Very small footprint, I have a camper and this will travel. Goodby to my two old Keurigs. Anyone else notice a foul odor from the Keurigs coffee? Cleaning did not fix the Keurigs. I suspect the water no longer got hot enough to kill whatever was growing inside. Whatever it was, it laughed when I ran vinegar through it.
