1Apparently it’s ok for some to speak with, in my opinion, offensive language, such as how they’re dating their dildo, but it is not permissible to offer an innocent and well-intended suggestion without being told what one can or can’t say. For this reason, I am cancelling my Meh account and will miss you all dearly as I have been enjoying the Meh community up until now. I refuse to be dictated to about what I am allowed or not allowed to say because some people are sensitive princesses who demand that you can only speak about what she deems as right or wrong. I hope you all enjoy the forum under her majesty’s rule, but I cannot.

Good riddance? I can promise you, if someone pisses me off here, or any place else on the internet, I will silently walk away. I seriously don’t care about how anyone feels about me or if anyone knows I was here or not. You have clearly backed the wrong conceptual horse.
I have to say that I felt that way after a certain someone called me out for posting pictures of Rae Dawn Chong naked in the paleontology thread. It just takes some perspective to see that people in certain occupations might not WANT to see pictures of naked people while at work - for instance, if you work in the New Jersey Healthcare system…
On all forums there are disagreements, not just on meh. And sometimes it is just that this is the written word without any body language/tone of voice conveyed that leads to accidental misunderstandings and problems. And some people can behave inappropriately or be mean. It is what it is. We can’t fix other people.
Here on meh there are two folks who seem to think behaving like a bully, being mean and nasty to me is acceptable behavior. I have no clue why. But in the long run that set of behaviors is really their problem in life and says more about them than it does about me. Sure it can be a pain, and sometimes I make smart ass comments back, but its not worth getting seriously bent out of shape as we aren’t going to like everyone, not everyone is going to like us. I think the key is if you enjoy something enough then take advantage of what you like and figure if on the balance the good outweighs the bad then stick around. If not/it isn’t worth it, then bail.
