@ACraigL I have two of them in my cart right now but I’m having second thoughts before I complete the purchase.
I wear my woot and meh shirts out in public and I’m now wondering if it could be insulting to some people and get me into a long discussion that I don’t really want to have. I get lots of compliments on all the other shirts I wear and have no idea how this would be perceived by my peers outside the house.
I’d definitely hang a picture of this on my wall but would I wear this to my doctor’s appointments? Hmm… That’s the big question.
With the 25 Piece Socket Set, you can be sure you have the right tool for the job. The set includes a variety of sockets as well as a ratchet, extension and adapter. The sockets include DirectTorque™ technology to help prevent rounding of fasteners and to provide better grip.
The 8 Piece Full Polish Combination Wrench set offers a variety of metric combination wrenches for any user need. These wrenches have a long panel design to provide more reach during use and the ability to apply more torque to a fastener. These wrenches also have DirectTorque™ technology to help prevent the rounding of fasteners.
Includes: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16. Glaring omission of 3/4-inch wrench, but still a value price on a top shelf tool.
thank you for a few moments of soft giggles this morning. I particularly like the shower curtain and the bowl with the fly. I’d make another comment, but I would get chided for saying something political
Both retailers qualify for that sweet, sweet Discover 5% cash back bonus.
I actually like these little novelty sets. Lots of one-off or uncommon components to be found in them. Plus they usually come with at least 3 or 4 minifigs. This particular set actually includes 10 minifigs, plus that super cool Homer donut! Perfect for building a Randy’s Donuts replica.
If anyone has Ibotta, they are doing a free Thanksgiving dinner with Walmart. You basically get the cash back through Ibotta, once you hit $20 in money, you can withdraw it. Still–free turkey, might help someone out who’s in a bind.
@sammydog01 THAT was exactly the problem! Not enough…bling(???) My shoe taste just goes in another direction…ALTHOUGH I did just buy my first pair of Bogs for taking the pupp-o outside in thr rain/snow. Not my style, but they are fantastic and quite comfy! I even wear them on walks now and again.
I have not seen this posted anywhere, but I have had two Verizon agents confirm it. I am adding a line to my family plan and upgrading another phone. Evidently on Monday, they are offering a buy one get one free deal, which includes the new iphone 12. I think the qualifications is a new line, trade in, unlimited plan and the two lines need to be on the top tier plan. We are also switching to unlimited for all the phones as well as automatic payments each month for 10.00 off a line, plus my husband is a professor so he earns us 20.00 off a month.
@Dakini all their deals seem to now require the $80+ unlimited plans (the $70 one is no good). It probably can work out with family line credits etc but for a single line any savings are quickly eaten by the monthly cost. They clearly want to move us off the older plans onto unlimited with bundled disney+ and cloud services. And for all but a select few people living in the right places, 5g is a joke, especially their mmwave version.
That said, if you’re on the right plans that’s a sweet deal.
Amz and Walmart: LEGO Creator Expert #10258 London Bus Building Kit (1686 Pieces) for $99.95 and free shipping. Also available at Walmart for this price. Pay with Discover for that sweet 5% cash back bonus from either retailer.
Supersedes the previously posted deal here for lowest price ever per 3Cs. Hopefully nobody ordered last week!
I saw my little sister today. I come bearing hearsay, ymmv.
Target has the Harry Potter Hogwarts great hall set on sale for $60. The website shows it out of stock at locations around here, but she checked in the store and said they had tons of them. So for you lego fans, word on the street is don’t believe the website.
MHZ shows foreign mysteries which are often much better than the ones made here - less flashy but more complex, plus lots of gorgeous European scenery. My favorite is Montalbano, filmed in Sicily, but the Scandinavian ones are terrific too; also French & German; there’s even been a Finnish one that was great. Intro offer running through today:

PN-95 masks. All of Powecom’s masks tested better than 95% filtration and have consistently done so since last May. Just checked the most current list and the most recent ones were all better than 95% filtration. There are only 2 USA distributorrs. One is https://bonafidemasks.com They ship quickly and shipping is free.
They have a black friday coupon for 15% off the total of anything bought from their website. The code is: BLACKFRIDAY and is ONLY good today the 27th.
I have found that the ear loops do not pull out and the nose peice is pretty good (not perfect) in preventing glasses fogging (have to mess with it a bit though to get it just right). I have not tried the two tie version of them.
20% discount at https://bonafidemasks.com for the powecom RN-95 mask. This mask has been on the CDC/FDA (I always forget which one it is) list for months as always exceeding filtration criteria. Right now they have both ear loop and “headband” style masks. So far with multiple reuses I haven’t had the ear loops pull out. I can mostly keep my glasses from fogging. On the various mask threads some other folks have posted that they have bought these and have liked them.
“Thru 12/9/20, USE COUPON CODE LOVE and take an additional 20% OFF FDA Authorized Powecom KN95 Respirator Face Masks.”
@Lynnerizer@narfcake There was a fall deals thread started September 22, last post there was October 1. I think it’s gotten harder to call something a “deal” if it’s at a higher price than it was last year.
