So, I'm sitting at my desk, and I hear a little bit of a ruckus from the driveway. I'm not expecting anything big, and certainly not anything that requires the delivery truck to use the big lift on the back of it.
I go to look on my porch, and a monstrosity of a box is there, and the shipper is meh.com.
Ooooooooh.....I'm giddy now. So of course, I tear open the box to see what is inside (the box weighs about 25lbs....not anywhere near as heavy as I would have thought).
And what to my wondering eyes appear but pillows, pillows, pillows everywhere!
Er meh gawd........That's a lot of pillows! (29 to be exact).
@l@JonT or he could have the worlds largest pillow fight...scratch that, just looked it up...we're gonna need around 4,200 more pillows to pull that off. @l we're gonna need you to keep collecting pillows for us until we get there.
Ok....so....this is a follow up to my other fuku box, which contained 29 throw pillows (scroll up to see the insanity of pillows).
In addition to the crapload of pillows, I had, what I thought, was a "regular" fuku box on it's way, with the usual Meh bag and mugs, etc. So.....I was not surprised when another box showed up at my doorstep, this time delivered by the USPS instead of Fedex. The box looked normal....
Until I opened it up....
At this point in time, I want to make the very public statement that someone at Meh.com has an extremely awesome and twisted sense of humor.

Even though it says to not get excited, I am excited. I'm hoping for a Lamborghini but think I will be disappointed and the surprise will be more like meh.
@kadagan The box I got today with the note and some of the other crap others also received was 9.7 lbs / 4.4 kgs 18x15x14 in. Nothing else unique except for the note.

Thanks to @lichme , I learned a way to see packages coming without a tracking number. This new package is 10 lbs but doesn't have any dimensions listed. Interestingly, the Department Number is "z-1-FUKU"

No one in the house is susceptible, as far as I know; we should soon find out. Ha, I hadn't seen this until now; the glasses in fact warn of seizure hazard. Eek.
XtremeMac Bluetooth speaker converter thingy--which apparently allows me to use any speaker as though it were Bluetooth. Other than just for playing, this may be the thing we use use [sic] the most.

@Kidsandliz It lists at the apparently-default 10x10x10 and 3lbs at FedEx. I couldn't find a tape measure and it's too late to know the packed weight (we got that shit all pulled out and scattered by now), but the actual dimensions are probably irrelevant to your purposes anyway.

Current situation. Doesn't seem to let me put in a combo. From googling it looks like it's start then code then start to unlock. I get no display when trying. Planning a few pick attempts for the lock and gathering supplies now. Want to exhaust all my options before succumbing to paying a locksmith.
@Catdad It's cylinder style locking mechanism. Haven't seen any easy way to open this style. The others have a plain old latch that you can even tap/punch and it opens. I'm curious to see what it inside as well.... curious if he tried just turning the handle yet.

@Catdad that might work. The only issue is I actually would like to keep the safe in normal working order. I have a reliable locksmith that we use at work, so I'll give them a call tomorrow morning. Most likely looking at $25 or less to get it open. Assuming the key is inside, I'll worry about the battery (if even replaceable) later on. I just really would like the mystery to end. Driving me crazy!
@MEHcus At this point, I'm down to 6 possibilities assuming that the answers are right since the first clue specifies it is the first digit. 7692, 7629, 7269, 7296, 7962, 7926. Now for all I know, none of those are correct. After calling locksmiths in the area the consensus is that it would cost $100 to open it. Can you get someone to confirm that the key actually is inside and not coming in a mysterious third package? At this point, I'm ready to have our maintenance department cut the back open, even though it is a nice safe that I would like to keep working.
@wilstev You may or may not have the code guessed correctly within those listed. And I guess I'll go ahead and confirm that the key is indeed inside for you.
@MEHcus Correct. Wish I would have tried that to begin with to save hassle. No display, no sound. What I was hearing seems to be a AA battery rolling around inside. Just in case I tried to unlock multiple times to see if I get the lock out alarm, no go. If you or another Meh employee gives the go-ahead that there isn't another key, I will have maintenance cut it open after calling the last possible locksmith on my list to see if they'll cut me a break.
@Thumperchick No problem. At this point, I'm just waiting to receive what I expect to be an envelope of 200 keys, just to prolong the mystery. (If that doesn't happen, I'll know it's your fault.) Since this thread is out of control at this point, I'll post and tag in the second box thread.

@JT954 If your dream machine has a 30 pin rather than lightening attachment for an iphone I will trade you. Then I won't have to buy an adapter for an iphone 4s to be able to use it. Giving it to my kid on her birthday and unfortunately she does not have an iphone 5 to be able to use it. Mine has no usb port so she can't use it that way either.
@Kidsandliz I definitely don't want the Trip Glasses and I'm not sure if I have a use for the Dream Machine (haven't inspected it yet). There's no way I'm getting rid of the mugs.
@Kidsandliz There are different kinds of dream machines? I'm not going to use mine so what exactly are you looking for. Tell me in language I can understand. I'm not tech savvy.
@barnabee Yes there are different kinds. Some people got one that on the back is has the same kind of port that you put a thumb drive (memory stick, usb drive) in it. That kind we can use because then my daughter can use the cord she attaches to her charging plug and instead plug in there. Mine does not have that. Another version, on the front, has a 30 pin plug that sticks up. That is the "old style" apple plug that iphone 4 and older has, older ipods, etc. That is the kind I need. Then some have the newer tiny 8 pin lightening attachment for the newer iphones (5 and 6) and newer ipods. This kind I have to buy an adapter for my kid to use it (unless they have the usb port, of which mine does not but some have) and apparently enough of them are DOA that it may take several tries to get a working one.
@barnabee the 30 pin or 8 pin will be on the front above the word sony that in the photo below is covered by that clear stuff. The usb port, if you have one, is apparently on the back, according to others.
@Kidsandliz It looks like I have the newer dock for the iPhone 5 (8 pin). It does not have a port on the back. Sorry, I wish I could have helped you out.
Your Trip Glasses arrived with a low/dead battery. Great news! The exact battery you need is inside the Sony speaker dock (on the underside). I hope someone else sees this.
@peas I saw it, but I'm actually loving my speaker dock. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. Besides, I think meh needs to do a CR-2032 deal. Maybe they can get a shipping container full that are Sony branded or something.
@peas The construction of the Trip Glasses is gloriously MEH. They are stuck in an "On" state at all times, and only turn off when the "On" button is held down. Expertly mediocre craftsmanship.
@Xan If you read the instructions it says something about pressing the button once to turn it on and it will stay on for about 14 minutes (by memory) and then shut off automatically.
First, some unfinished business. I was one of the lucky ones who got a note in the Kickstarter Fuku, and I posted it. But due to circumstances beyond my control (computer crash, laziness, etc), I never posted what I got in the second box. When it finally came, I was soooo excited, although the box seemed pretty light - maybe it was an iPad?
No, no it wasn't. In the box were 15(!) Jive Water Resistant Wireless Bluetooth Speakers in various, mostly bright colors. It takes a special company to mix thrill and meh together so thoroughly.
@merrybill I totally wanted those water-resistant speakers--and, indeed, several of them, though, maybe not fifteen. Shower time just gets that much more exciting.
So today marked the day that I received my aforementioned "EXTRA SPECIAL" bag from @JonT and the crew.
ICYMI or have forgotten, I'm one of the two (un)lucky souls that the mehdiocre server computer thingamajigs allowed to place an order after the Fuku bags were apparently already sold out. I waited and waited for 6 or 7 days waiting for my bag to ship while everyone posted pics of what they were starting to receive. Then all of a sudden my order status shows CANCELED! I emailed customeh service and was told what happened and too bad, so sad, better luck next time. I was bummed. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I mentioned it on these here forums when @JonT chimed in and said "Our bad" and told me I'd get an "EXTRA SPECIAL" bag. Since the order was canceled I had no way to track, so I waited.
I returned home from work today to see a large box on my porch with a label that said it came from the Mehthership...
People always ask how much it weighed and how big the box was, so I punched the tracking number into the Google...
Upon further inspection, I notice the box itself says it's a case of Trip Glasses. But it also says 7.7 kg next to that, which is about 17 pounds...much less than the tracking info said. So I held fast hope...
I slice the box open with surgical precision and a Fuku bag is revealed along with a very clean smell as if someone was doing laundry. I also spy a shirt of some sort, a flyswatter, travel mug, and a squished box of Bounce dryer sheets.
Further inspection reveals the shirt to be of the Meh. variety (non Kickstarter version), and a large number of Swiffer dusters (that I actually love and use already) with no carton to call home. Seems to be a Costco-sized amount of the dusters, too. A largely disfigured box of 260 Bounce Outdoor Fresh scent dryer sheets also revealed itself. Further inspection (not pictured yet) found 16 bars of Dial soap and a shiny new pair of Trip Glasses.
Finally, the last item in the box came in quite the large quantity... 18 cartons of 230 Kleenex tissues. If you're not math(meh)tically inclined, that's 4,140 tissues. Even with allergies, 10 tissues a month would be optimistic for my use, so the way I see it I now have about a 34 year supply on hand should the zombie apocalypse start tonight. I'm trying to determine if this was some sort of com(meh)ntary on being a crybaby about an order being canceled or if I'm just lucky.
So to summarize, contents were:
• Fuku bag (thousands of uses) • Contigo Monroe Autoseal Travel Mug (excellent regifting potential) • SPLAT! Flyswatter (too cool not to keep for myself) • 1 Meh. black t-shirt, size large (It will possibly fit only my head) • 16 bars of Dial Spring Water soap (rub-a-dub-dub) • 18 cartons of 230 count Kleenex tissues • 1 box of 260 Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets (meh...don't use 'em) • 1 large amount of Swiffer dusters and handle (I love these things!) • 1 disappointed pal ( @TBoneZeOriginal ) who was hoping I'd give him my Sony speaker dock that didn't come
So if you need me, you can find squeaky clean (nose AND nether regions) me bouncing down the street, swattin' flies in a skin-tight, outdoor fresh smelling Meh. shirt, sipping hot chocolate from my Contigo mug without a speck of dust on it.
@BrentD That is an awesome haul. If you have kids (or plan to have them in the next 20 years or so) those tissues will come in handy for the teacher supply lists, at least.

@missbear Imgur accounts are free and are pretty easy to use. Just open the site in your browser and drag a photo from Explorer or Finder onto the browser window. Then it shows you the photo and the link that you can copy and paste into your forum message.
Fuku update: I brought some Fuku things that I couldn't use (iphone speaker cldock, etc) into work and send a mass email offering them to any takers. They went quickly, I have happy co-workers, and more people know about meh.com. I also gave meh credit for things i gave away from old woot BOC's, because explaining two sites was too much effort.

Maybe keep it for friends bachelorette /stag parties ( every time the bride and groom go round the clock take a shot or ?? ) . Or great gag gift if you know of someone having a special anniversary. @producepimp That's one of the $40 lanterns they sell at Costco. Surprisingly, it's also this year's version. I know because I've been tempted by them several times, and last year's model was less lumen, bluish light and a blue box. That one's the new box with more lumens and a warm white light. Good score if it works!
@BrentD I hope to try and hook it up next week. Looks to be some type of return. It's got some dirt on it but all the screws and whatnots are still in the bag. I'll keep you posted.

@bluedyn Same here. Well, I visit from my phone about half the time, I guess. I finally gave up on keeping up with the other super long threads. I wouldn't touch them unless I was on my laptop. The scroller extension is at least making it easier on the computer now.
@bluedyn Before the extension, with all the jumping around after pics loaded, it was just too much of a hassle to find the one new comment. The extension is indeed brilliant, and so far, working wonderfully.

Because everyone has been waiting to see my stuff specifically: here is my haul.
First to greet me were these salt and pepper shakers. Next was this PB&J spreader which my niece claimed immediately and immediately began to wield it as the amazing sandwich-enhancing scepter it is.
Next up was the "Cow are you today?" mug. Udderly fantastic, and cow are you? XtremeMac BT Home Connect. I'm sure I could find a use for it. Trip glasses. In all honesty, once I put a battery in them, I tried them quickly and took them off almost immediately due to the impending feeling of much eye-pain. Then a bit later, I put them on again. I had been feeling sluggish and just generally terrible the whole day. Went through the full 14 minutes, during which I felt as if my eyes were forced into a state of REM, but surprisingly I no longer felt tired after. Not sure if that is just some crazy psychosomatic effect or what. Mysterious Sony box. From above I thought, it could be anything! A laptop! A tablet! A Blu-Ray player! A beta player! OHHHH I HOPE ITS A BETA! Oh I see. Speaker dock alarm clock radio. Well played. Also, I did set it up and believe it has officially replaced my previous alarm clock. And then there was this. Not sure if I should be worried. Will check back presumably in a week or less depending on delivery.
@wilstev Somehow I realized just now I hadn't taken a picture of the bag, but everyone should have one so you know what they look like. In addition, I was just too lazy to go the other room and grab my phone to get a picture of the dock once set up. I blame @studerc naturally.

@Kidsandliz I decided to try my Sony dock even though I have nothing Apple. It has a great radio and you can plug in non-Apple products. I think your daughter will be thrilled with it. The sound is excellant.
@Teripie Thanks for letting me know. Apparently her boyfriend bought her an iphone 4 do you know if it works with that (meaning the thing in the front rather than a usb cord)? I haven't yet pulled it apart enough to find the model number to go look. I'd love it too for me but gotta make sure I have all the presents covered first. Sigh. Didn't realize it had a radio.
@Kidsandliz The last person says it has an Auxilary in jack so she can plug one of those 2 sided audio cables that looks like it has a headphone plug on both ends to her phone and into the dock!
@jsh139 I agree they are horrible but didn't cause any headaches. The lights are just too bright and you have to dim them with the included stickers. The noise is annoying too. Battery was DOA and needed replaced.

Got mine today. 8 items, mostly typical. Cow mug, Trip Glasses, Tote Bag, PB&J spreader, XtremeMac BT speaker adapter, model car (plastic, yellow Corvette convertible). I guess they ran out of speaker docs - I got a Memorex Clock Radio instead.
And then, the cruelest item - a box of Swiffer duster pads. That one was disappointing twice. First, who gets excited about cleaning products? Second, I then noticed it looked previously opened and taped. A resurgence of hope... only to be crushed. It really was just Swiffer pads. :(

@SavvySapphire I can solve the problem of being short two cats. Where do you live? I have 4 strays that I need to find homes for - One is part lynx siamese but his eyes are a funny combination of blue and yellow, one is a part siamese (body shape, talkative, that off white tan) orange marble, and one is perhaps a mix of lynx siamese and ragdoll if I were to go by the markings and large feet.
@Kidsandliz Awww, they sound adorable! It's hard to tell from the blur that she was, but the white and gray one is a Siamese mix, looks like a bluepoint, but is a feral (or was until she came to live with me and became super spoiled!)
@SavvySapphire I figured the one on the left was part lynx siamese. I left out the 4th cat. She is more or less tabby but has that siamese off white/tan color and blue eyes. The orange marble has a clipped ear so he was feral - but he is like a dog and can't stand to be further than about 5 ' from me at any time, follows me from room to room… All are very sweet babies. I am serious these guys need homes. I can't afford 7 cats. All of mine started out as strays, one was only 10 days old and abandoned. Lived in my pocket for a while.
@Kidsandliz Awww! Yeah, I love Siamese and Siamese mixes. My mom and I both have Siamese mixes that look like blue points. I'd love to take some of yours, but I can barely afford the ones I have. At one point though, I had 7 cats and a dog, so I understand the cost factor! Funny, my girl follows me too!

I just came here to gloat that I got such a nifty Sony speaker dock, but almost everyone got one! Still, it is nifty - there's even a Sony app for it - and I got it ON MY BIRTHDAY.
Here's what I got. The Fuku bag, a Davey model Weird-Ohs, a peanut butter and jelly spreader, a refurbished Sony iPod dock, Trip Glasses, and a cow themed sound mug that makes cow puns when you pick it up. I have left the cow mug sitting in an awkward spot in the kitchen in hopes that one of my roommates will trigger it without knowing what it is.
We got the Cow mug, the red bag, the trip glasses, a creepy Pez clown bank, Fly swatters, PB&J spreader, and my favorite the NEATO Roomba knock off :-) I had asked my husband about buying the neato when it was on the site so thrilled to get it now!

Got my haul today a little early! Looks like the speaker dock also works as an alarm clock, and I've been needing a new one for a while now. Reagan was president when I got my current clock.
@kadagan Doesn't look like it. The converter only has an audio out, but the speaker dock only has an audio in port. You can connect another mp3 device to the audio port, but just can't use the remote to adjust the mp3 device.

@patti Do either sony speaker docks have the usb port on the back? Or a 30 pin rather than lightening 8 pin on the front? If yes I am up for a trade - planning to give it to my kid for her birthday on the 7th but she has an iphone 4S and so my speaker dock isn't going to work for her without an adapter or a usb port that some have, but not mine. I have already posted what I have. Will trade anything, including the meh bag (but not the bluetooth transmitter - that is my sister's birthday present, already sent and the GI joe as that was coveted by a neighbor kid and so it now his) if either of your speaker docs will work for her.

i would just like to report in to be careful with your KAPOW POW BOINK mug set. they are much more realistic and powerful than i expected.
as i poured some hot water into the mug i enjoyed a nice "KRRRACCKKK" sound effect, and my counter was covered in hot water, wiped that away to find a nice sparkly counter top!

I got my box today. All the typical things (minus the b/t adapter). The audio in sounds a little tinny on the Sony dock (may be my cable). One thing I got that was different was an Arizona Cardinals candy dish in the shape of a football helmet.
@dsantillan My dock has a "sound" button that expands the sound three two different ways (megabass and expander or some such). Really made a difference. I'm liking it.
@joelmw I figured out my problem. I was using a really old (possibly frayed) cable for audio in. I changed it out and the sound was great. Especially with the mega bass/expander.

@Pony You don't need an iSometing to use it. You can plug non-iSomethings in the back. The radio and clock are very nice. I guess I'm a big fan of these things, I've numerously posted about how good they are.
@hallmike Mine has an USB port, but it does have an "aux in" port in the back. I wonder if there are any out there that have neither. I don't recall any commenters saying they had no alternative inputs at all.
@InFrom I should have said it hasn't got a USB port. Oops. That said, I plugged my iPod into the Aux In port and wow, did it sound crappy! Very particular about where I could leave the device, lots of static, and low volume. It was even worse with my Sansa Clip (from Woot, of course!) All I got was static with that one, no music at all. But it may just be the fault of the cable I used, a little retractable number I got from Monoprice a few years back. I'd like to try it with a better-quality cable. Meanwhile, hoping that the adapter I bought off eBay today will at least let me charge my iPod and give decent sound quality.
@Pony OK I can trade you the mugs. The family member I was going to give them to for christmas I can give them something else. It's not like they know they are coming… I have benefited from the trades to get the speaker dock for my kid's birthday (mine was DOA, and she needed 30 pin not lightening and so a lightening from someone else is going to them the 30 pin to me) Since you don't want your speaker dock I have another family member I don't have a present for yet I could give that to them. That would work at this end if that would work at your end...

Fuku order placed, Fuku order accepted nearly 6 days ago. I wait. Nearly 6 days later my order status is changed to "Canceled" with no explanation. I contact support and am told "Our system oversold the fuku bags by 2 people. And it turns out that you and one other lucky person were the last two to order and we had to cancel them."

Got our Fukus yesterday and they were great (Sorry Meh). My husband and I both got a refurb Sony speaker dock. Mine also contained the Bam Kapow mugs, SNL Swill Matchbox, bag, trip glasses, Sailor Moon candles and scratch and sniff stickers. My husbands contained trip glasses, bag, "Cow Are You Today" talking mug , swordfish funnel and XtremeMac Bluetooth Connect Audio Receiver.
@jenny One of the things I like about meh is their desire to set low expectations. I empathize. I've been telling my wife since the day I met her that I'm a bum. We've been married for almost five years now (and are still quite giddily happy). Now, part of that is that she's so awesome, but I'd also argue that the expectation of meh is working. And I am a bum, which, yaknow, makes me honest. So there's that.

So total curiosity here...is there a set number of minimum items per box? Opened my box to find one speaker dock, one bag, and one set of pow/kapow mugs. Wasn't sure if the mugs counted as one or three items. What say you, @JonT@snapster ???

@studerc I decided to look into this. Because, you know, I'm a half-decent guy...¯| (ツ) /¯. Your box was 10.5lbs, which seems heavy for what you received. Did the tape look broken or anything?
@hart appreciate the effort. Upon second look at the box, it does look like it may have been retaped. I weighed the box and contents and it came in at around 8 lbs. no big deal, just glad to know it wasn't mehs fault. Thanks again for your efforts.
@studerc Sorry your box got "lightened" on its way to you. That sucks. had that happen to me once or twice with woot, when they still labeled them "random crap."
@Thumperchick yea I found it odd since it was just a brown box. I suppose I deserve it being the goat. Besides I still have a terrible scapegoat thing from @JonT that I'm still looking forward to.
@hart Talked to Post office this morning, when the box arrived they didn't notice any openings or causes of concern. Then I contacted the local fedex distribution center, box was re-taped at center after they noticed tape missing on the top of the box, but wouldn't comment on the loss of product. They mentioned they would look into internally to see if any additional boxes were "tampered" with. At least it wasn't Meh's fault!
Son got his and brought to our house to share the unboxing. He got the usual stuff, Sony dock, Bluetooth converter, cow mug. But he did get one thing I haven't seen yet; a Sharper Image Pet-o-Meter, pet pedometer. It's prefect for his overweight dogs!
The speaker dock is a lightening connector. I know you can plug something that needs a 30 pin connector in the back via the usb port (eg using the device's charging cord)- however if you do that does it also charge the device while you are using it? Also does anyone know where to find a "male end 30 pin to female end lightening adaptor"? Radio Shack doesn't have one, been on the phone for the last 1/2 hour with an apple employee who, I think, knows less than me - I had to figure out what was on the end of an iphone 4 (my kid's phone) to even know what kind of adapter we needed for that end. She didn't even know that. Geesh. HELP! (and thanks) ok apple doesn't make one.

@Kidsandliz You can find "30 Pin male to Lightning 8-Pin female Adapter" on ebay or Amazon. No guarantee they will fit as I have not seen the dock, but in my head it works.
@hallmike I am going to have to find some sort of adapter as this sony dock has no usb port that I can find. If I can't get one somewhere then I guess it won't work as my kid's best birthday present ever (well she'd love a car but I need to replace the ghetto van first LOL)

Got mine today… really disappointed that I didn't get the Sony alarm clock that everyone else is getting. As I just bought an iPhone 6+, it no longer fits on the current alarm clock I'm using. That larger Sony one would've been so perfect!
But here I am… looking at a basic alarm clock that projects the time on the ceiling. That's what I got.

First of all, Meh, how did you know that your red Fuku bag would fit perfectly around the box for the Sony speaker dock? Well done! It's a splendid tote. Trip glasses Kapow! mug set Light-up bouncy ball GI Joe figure (Chameleon). Who knew she was someone's illegitimate half-sister? Pretty racy stuff for some giveaway from Pepsodent. Swordfish funnel So about that speaker dock -- it's got the Lightning connector (no USB port), and my only i-device is an iPod Touch 4th gen. I'm going to look into getting one of those adapters, and see how it goes, unless I find someone to trade with for a 30-pin one. I plugged it in and tuned to a local FM station (came in strong, even with no antenna). I have to say it sounded great. Very tempted to just keep it as a clock radio, that I may or may not be able to use for docking someday. Hmm, am I forgetting something? (I unboxed at the office, and schlepped some of the stuff home yesterday.) No, I think that was it. Overall, wish I could be completely meh, but I do like the sound on that Sony, and I love the bag. Sorry, Meh, but thanks!
Edited to add: just noticed the "Aux in" jack around the back. That could seal the deal for me to keep it. I'm going to plug in the iPod and see how it goes.
@InFrom I love my Sony thingy too. Don't need an iPhone or such to enjoy it. It's a nice clock with a radio and an alram. For 5 bucks how could I complain?

Gotta say, I am quite disappointed. I know that’s the point, but it certainly happened. There really was nothing good in this box. And haven’t even seen any good bags in this thread. Not really sure its worth the $10. I like Meh, I visit everyday but how underwhelming... I feel as if the 'fuku bag' is to build hype around a brand, it costs money, but the return is building excitment and traffic that increases sales.

@Kidsandliz I don't have high hopes. That way I don't get disappointed :) keep an eye on your fuku weight. Sometimes they stick a placeholder weight in there until it arrives at fedex and is scanned/weighed. But I'll definitely be posting my contents!
Oh my goodness, one of ours (mine, not my husband's!!!) has made it to the local facility already! And, it's been updated from the 3 lb placeholder to 18x15x14 in and 10.2 lbs. Oddly enough, my husband's left the Tx facility an hour earlier than mine and his still hasn't made it to the local facility yet, but I'm thrilled that mine is thisclose, and that it got bigger!
@wa27 are you sure you have 2 tracking numbers or are you seeing the USPS and Fed Ex links to the same package? The USPS will stay blank until Fed Ex hands the package to the USPS and they take over the delivery to you.
@lcastil1 I think so. It looks like this: I'm going to chalk it up as a mistake though since one is still in the initiated phase. I don't want to get my hopes up!
@wa27 I have 2, but they are the same number. When the USPS is clicked it says: "NOT FOUND. Tracking information is not available at this time. Please check back later or double-check the tracking number entered and try again." I think the way they have it set up the numbers were just listed for both.
@ceagee Your tracking for USPS will update when FedEx sends the information to them, usually 2 or 3 days before expected delivery. It just means it is coming Smartpost.
So far it seems like the Sony Speaker Dock has been in all of the bags so far, right? True to their Meh'ness, we should have known a speaker dock would end up in there. Makes me wonder if the speaker dock was too Meh to sell on its own, lol. More Meh'ness please!
My unopened Meh box now sits in my car...waiting for me to get off work, go home, and enjoy my Mehdiocrity. However, as I look at the sealed box I ponder holding onto it and perhaps letting it sit a year or so unopened before trying to auction it off on Ebay. I wonder what a vintage unopened Fuku box would go for. And it also makes me think, as popular as the BoCs were/are, why I never tried to do this the three times I actually landed one.

My wife and I got ours today. Pretty standard. Didn't bother taking a photo before the kids started disappearing with the contents. The (2) Sony Ipod/Iphone dock is actually really nice -- if only I had an Iphone or Ipod :) They'll probably be given away to friends.

My sony speaker dock with radio does not seem to have a usb port like some people have unless I am totally blind. Is it hidden somewhere? Also I need a "30 Pin male to Lightning 8-Pin female Adapter" and can only find them the other way around (eg 30 pin female, 8 pin male)

Found it on amazon finally when I searched exactly this: "30 Pin male" to "Lightning 8-Pin female" Adapter it looks like quality control is uneven looking at the reviews. Some work and some do not, although some complaints of not working might be they are trying to use it with an iphone4 (where is does not work) rather than with an iphone 4S
@Kidsandliz I keep reading others say that you can connect other USB devices through the USB port on the back but mine didn't have a USB port on the back either.
@cengland0 I think there are several versions of this floating around. You and I got the no usb port one unfortunately as it makes it being backwardly compatible harder and more expensive (eg have to buy an adapter).
i got the bag, sony speaker dock, cow coffee mug, bluetooth speaker thingy, alice in wonderland red queen diary, and the trip glasses. I've been wanting to buy the trip glasses for a while (and really should have when i was at a con that mitch attendend). The battery in the glasses was going bad, they were just lighting up solid red and no sound so i popped it open and put in a fresh 2032 and they work great now.
I got mine yesterday (sorry for the lack of photos, but Mrs. Oppo has already distributed the stuff throughout the house) ... got the Speaker Dock. Which is awesome since I just bought a speaker dock from Meh but now the wife can have one for her new (to her) 5s. Fly swatter pack - always helpful. The trippy glasses. May cause seizures. Going to have to test that out. The cow mug. The Fuku bag - which is awesome. The wireless speaker converter - which I may try to rig at work South Park lunch box - just in time for the season premiere.
All in all - suh-weet. Made being home sick with a sick baby worth it ...

@Kidsandliz Actually, it may fit in a Priority mail flat rate box (about $12). I can swing by the post office today after work and pick up a box, then see if it will fit in there. I found out the siblings actually have the newer iPods (with lightning). cheapest adapter I could find (non-generic) was about $15-20. I should probably also plug the speaker dock in and make sure it works!
@cag80 Yeah - finding out whether or not it works would be good. I was going to canvas friends to plug in their phones to test mine out. If it safely fits in a priority box maybe you can see if you can find someone with an ipod or something that is older to see if it works beyond having power?

Are the Trip Glasses supposed to... do anything? Or is it just a pair of red LEDs that I stare into? Mine don't blink or anything, so I just see all the gunk inside my eyes. And there's no sound, either, unless I haven't found the volume control.
@editorkid From the video I saw about them, the red lights should be blinking and there should be kind of a dual tone noise. I haven't opened mine up yet. Kinda scared to. heh.
@editorkid Take the battery out of the bottom of the Sony and try it out. Close your eyes, turn it on and listen to the sounds and sights. I think what happens is your brain doesn't know how to interpret the data and everything starts turning white and then you start seeing random shapes. I wasn't as disappointed with the glasses as I should be.

I've just been informed that there is a box from Meh waiting for me. I don't know if that's my second fuku box or if it's Toshiba batteries. I asked them to not let me know anything about the box so I can be properly surprised in case it is the 'other thing'. I'll head home for lunch to take a look. Now the only problem is lunch isn't for another 3 hours.
That Sony speaker dock is pretty sweet- I haven't even gotten the cord for the aux in to use my phone with it, but the radio sounds great, and I finally got rid of my horrible old alarm clock that I hated. Yay! I mean... meh.
@Pony I powered mine up last night, the sound is amazing. Only problem is I don't own an itouch or ipod. so this may end up costing me a few bucks to do it right.

Mine hasn't been received by Fedex yet. It just says 3lbs with no estimated delivery date. But going by past orders, I'll probably get it sometime around October 1st.

Got home from work today (crappy Saturday work...meh) to find a nice little sticker on my front door from USPS. SO my box is being held hostage at the post office until Monday.
Hmmm 18x15x14. 10.4 pounds. Due Thursday 9/25...I really hope it comes sooner as I work pretty much during the time the mail comes....until 9pm, and knowing it's here waiting for me will make me a very antsy worker! LOL
Ok....so things have changed? A few days ago, it said 3 lbs 10x10x10. I just checked to see what state is was sitting in ( now West Virginia) and it's been updated to 18x15x14 and 10.6 lbs. This appears to be an old ebay trick. You put a small box and weight in to pay for low postage, but then the Fed Ex scanner finds it and updates the numbers.. well played meh, well played.

The North Country (which also includes the Adirondacks, which can also be separate part of the North country ). Downstate is south of the greater NYC area and southeast of Syracuse. At least that's how WNYers see it ;-)
BTW WNY includes Rochester and Buffalo area. And of course there's also the Finger Lakes which is sort of it's own thing too. Borders WNY, ST, and Upstate and is often considered a part of all three ! NY is complicated .

@Thumperchick My tracking is updated the same… Don't know how they got it from Dallas to Memphis where it is currently sitting but it took them 63.75 hours to do so. It is just a 3.5hour drive to my house from where it is right now. Of course I am, what? about 7 hours from Dallas… hmm 63.75/7=9.11 and 9.11x3.5= 31.89 hours more to get to me…Yup - must be by horseback, on foot, wagon train, unicycle… definitely not tele-transporter
Well this is no fair - mine had delivery on Wed and when I just checked to see if it had left Memphis yet (got there Sunday evening) it suddenly has been changed to delivery on Thurs!!! and it has SAT THERE ALL DAY!!! (says the USPS has been notified to come get it). And Memphis is only 3.5 hours from here.
@Kidsandliz FedEx drops it off at USPS, sometimes at a regional center and sometimes at the delivery unit. Often the drop off is after the carrier leaves to deliver the mail for the day so next day is earliest it can go out.
@speediedelivery In this case it got there Sunday night and was still sitting there when I posted just after midnight last night (still only says info sent to USPS this morning 36+ hours later) Sigh… I guess I prefer snail slow and cheap than faster and costs more...
@Kidsandliz Info sent is not the actual package. It is the tracking info sent electronically saying FedEx will be bringing it. It still could be a few days before it arrives at USPS. Most places USPS will scan it as enroute or arrival at unit when the actual box is dropped off. When FedEx is shorthanded or busy or just put it in the wrong pallet, it can be a week or so before the actual package arrives at USPS.
Mine is 18x15x14 and 10.9 lbs. It is scheduled to show up on Friday but it is currently only one hour away. I hope it doesn't come Friday as I will not be in CA, I will be in TX.

Husband and I both received our boxes today. Nothing new in either one expect maybe the Magnetic Dinosaur Bingo Game. The rest was trip glasses, Elvis cups, Bluetooth converter thingy's, etc. We both did get the Sony iPhone thing, will be handy in this Android household. All in all, lots of stuff to add to our Xmas give-away crap.
How do you guys know how much these weigh? My confirmation info. doesn't list it and neither does this box that arrived today. Are BOC boxes usually this big?
@JT954 we have inside contacts at fedex that weigh them for us and text us. or, we look up the tracking# on the fedex site and it says the weight there. also, your second question assumes we have the ability to see the size of your box. i want to know how you found out we have cameras set up all over your house and office. it's not like we're the NSA. or are we...
@carl669 Ah I assumed all of these measured 10x10x10. Checking Fed Ex, mine is 18x15x14 and weighs 10.9 pounds. And I moved recently so I'm hearing "things".

I received my box and all I can say is meh. It contained Sony refurb speaker dock, I might just use it as a big, ugly clock. Talking cow mug Peanut butter and jelly spreader Wonder Woman photo album Hummingbird funnel Red Meh bag Trip Glasses (dead battery). To try these out, I took the battery out of the speaker dock (most useful it will ever be) and put it in the glasses. The lights immediately started, and when I pressed the button, they would turn off only as long as the button was pressed. These were certainly meh, the inventor, Mitch, if the instructions are to be trusted, clearly had a very mediocre understanding of how buttons and switches work.
@lcastil1 I do get sound. Just another testament to the manufacturing quality that Mitch continues to push to the upper limit. I did just let it run for 14 minutes and was surprised to see it turn off. I figured that they fact that it turned on the moment I put the battery in, and only paused when I held the button that it was defective.

@pooflady Both Chicago airports were closed this morning due to a fire at an air-traffic control facility, causing ripple effects. If a plane was delayed, that would do it. Then again, I think these were all shipped ground, so maybe not?
@DJP519 "SmartPost" packages are among the lowest priority packages in the FedEx system. FedEx is probably trying to deliver as many of those high priority air shipments as they can, in a timely way. FedEx is probably using FedEx Ground trucks and personnel to ship stuff from airports with problems to airports that are fully operational. The Fedex website says there was a big problem in Memphis last night, http://www.fedex.com/us/servicealerts/
If my Fuku miraculously contains a note but I am unable to open the box for a few weeks because I'm away from home, would I be contacted by email about the second shipment or would I just be shit out of luck?

If you were planning to give away you Sony speaker dock check to see that it works first. Mine does not… which is too bad as there was a potential trade in process - my lightening one for someone else's 30 pin one as my kid has a iphone 4s and this was going to be her birthday present… sigh. It was going to make her so happy and I just can't afford to buy her one as I am unemployed (only buying things here that are cheap so I have things to give for family for birthdays and christmas - those $3 headlamps were great for that!!).

I haven't unscrewed yet where the power supply goes in to see if it is hardwired or plug in thus can sub it out… Most people have a sticker on theirs on the front and mine doesn't. I am wondering if mine is a return of a refurbished and they didn't tell it was broken...

I unscrewed the back of it. It has a two thin wire pin plug in. I fussed with it and still nothing happened. I guess the next step is to go to radio and try a new plug. I'll do that in the morning.

WIth the three way trade I got a 30 pin for my kid's birthday on the 7th. Most epic fuku (for me) ever.
So, I'm sitting at my desk, and I hear a little bit of a ruckus from the driveway. I'm not expecting anything big, and certainly not anything that requires the delivery truck to use the big lift on the back of it.
I go to look on my porch, and a monstrosity of a box is there, and the shipper is meh.com.
Ooooooooh.....I'm giddy now. So of course, I tear open the box to see what is inside (the box weighs about 25lbs....not anywhere near as heavy as I would have thought).
And what to my wondering eyes appear but pillows, pillows, pillows everywhere!
Er meh gawd........That's a lot of pillows! (29 to be exact).
All are "outdoor throw pillows".....fun times.

Ok....so....this is a follow up to my other fuku box, which contained 29 throw pillows (scroll up to see the insanity of pillows).
In addition to the crapload of pillows, I had, what I thought, was a "regular" fuku box on it's way, with the usual Meh bag and mugs, etc. So.....I was not surprised when another box showed up at my doorstep, this time delivered by the USPS instead of Fedex. The box looked normal....

We received and opened our box today. I was all tingly with excitement. And I waited almost an hour for the wife to get home so we could open it together. My self-control staggers the imagination. Here's the scoop:
On top of that, this was a full family experience (excepting daughter, who is married and lives out of state): wife, son, cat, me. A good time was had by all. The cat was heavy into the flashy ball, but I guess he's over it now and more fascinated by the big box.
I'm once again left in an emotional state far too positive for "meh." So I guess this means that you've failed me again. Fuku, meh. Fuku. :-)

Current situation. Doesn't seem to let me put in a combo. From googling it looks like it's start then code then start to unlock. I get no display when trying. Planning a few pick attempts for the lock and gathering supplies now. Want to exhaust all my options before succumbing to paying a locksmith.

@Catdad It's cylinder style locking mechanism. Haven't seen any easy way to open this style. The others have a plain old latch that you can even tap/punch and it opens. I'm curious to see what it inside as well.... curious if he tried just turning the handle yet.

@Catdad that might work. The only issue is I actually would like to keep the safe in normal working order. I have a reliable locksmith that we use at work, so I'll give them a call tomorrow morning. Most likely looking at $25 or less to get it open. Assuming the key is inside, I'll worry about the battery (if even replaceable) later on. I just really would like the mystery to end. Driving me crazy!

@MEHcus At this point, I'm down to 6 possibilities assuming that the answers are right since the first clue specifies it is the first digit. 7692, 7629, 7269, 7296, 7962, 7926. Now for all I know, none of those are correct. After calling locksmiths in the area the consensus is that it would cost $100 to open it. Can you get someone to confirm that the key actually is inside and not coming in a mysterious third package? At this point, I'm ready to have our maintenance department cut the back open, even though it is a nice safe that I would like to keep working.

@MEHcus Correct. Wish I would have tried that to begin with to save hassle. No display, no sound. What I was hearing seems to be a AA battery rolling around inside. Just in case I tried to unlock multiple times to see if I get the lock out alarm, no go. If you or another Meh employee gives the go-ahead that there isn't another key, I will have maintenance cut it open after calling the last possible locksmith on my list to see if they'll cut me a break.

@JT954 If your dream machine has a 30 pin rather than lightening attachment for an iphone I will trade you. Then I won't have to buy an adapter for an iphone 4s to be able to use it. Giving it to my kid on her birthday and unfortunately she does not have an iphone 5 to be able to use it. Mine has no usb port so she can't use it that way either.
@Kidsandliz I definitely don't want the Trip Glasses and I'm not sure if I have a use for the Dream Machine (haven't inspected it yet). There's no way I'm getting rid of the mugs.
@Kidsandliz There are different kinds of dream machines? I'm not going to use mine so what exactly are you looking for. Tell me in language I can understand. I'm not tech savvy.
@barnabee Yes there are different kinds. Some people got one that on the back is has the same kind of port that you put a thumb drive (memory stick, usb drive) in it. That kind we can use because then my daughter can use the cord she attaches to her charging plug and instead plug in there. Mine does not have that. Another version, on the front, has a 30 pin plug that sticks up. That is the "old style" apple plug that iphone 4 and older has, older ipods, etc. That is the kind I need. Then some have the newer tiny 8 pin lightening attachment for the newer iphones (5 and 6) and newer ipods. This kind I have to buy an adapter for my kid to use it (unless they have the usb port, of which mine does not but some have) and apparently enough of them are DOA that it may take several tries to get a working one.
@barnabee the 30 pin or 8 pin will be on the front above the word sony that in the photo below is covered by that clear stuff. The usb port, if you have one, is apparently on the back, according to others.
@Kidsandliz It looks like I have the newer dock for the iPhone 5 (8 pin). It does not have a port on the back. Sorry, I wish I could have helped you out.
@Kidsandliz I just checked mine and it has 8 pins. I don't own Apple products so I don't have a use for this.

Your Trip Glasses arrived with a low/dead battery. Great news! The exact battery you need is inside the Sony speaker dock (on the underside). I hope someone else sees this.
@peas I saw it, but I'm actually loving my speaker dock. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. Besides, I think meh needs to do a CR-2032 deal. Maybe they can get a shipping container full that are Sony branded or something.
@peas The construction of the Trip Glasses is gloriously MEH. They are stuck in an "On" state at all times, and only turn off when the "On" button is held down. Expertly mediocre craftsmanship.
@Xan If you read the instructions it says something about pressing the button once to turn it on and it will stay on for about 14 minutes (by memory) and then shut off automatically.

First, some unfinished business. I was one of the lucky ones who got a note in the Kickstarter Fuku, and I posted it.
But due to circumstances beyond my control (computer crash, laziness, etc), I never posted what I got in the second box. When it finally came, I was soooo excited, although the box seemed pretty light - maybe it was an iPad?
No, no it wasn't. In the box were 15(!) Jive Water Resistant Wireless Bluetooth Speakers in various, mostly bright colors.
It takes a special company to mix thrill and meh together so thoroughly.

So today marked the day that I received my aforementioned "EXTRA SPECIAL" bag from @JonT and the crew.
ICYMI or have forgotten, I'm one of the two (un)lucky souls that the mehdiocre server computer thingamajigs allowed to place an order after the Fuku bags were apparently already sold out. I waited and waited for 6 or 7 days waiting for my bag to ship while everyone posted pics of what they were starting to receive. Then all of a sudden my order status shows CANCELED! I emailed customeh service and was told what happened and too bad, so sad, better luck next time. I was bummed. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I mentioned it on these here forums when @JonT chimed in and said "Our bad" and told me I'd get an "EXTRA SPECIAL" bag. Since the order was canceled I had no way to track, so I waited.
I returned home from work today to see a large box on my porch with a label that said it came from the Mehthership...
People always ask how much it weighed and how big the box was, so I punched the tracking number into the Google...
Upon further inspection, I notice the box itself says it's a case of Trip Glasses. But it also says 7.7 kg next to that, which is about 17 pounds...much less than the tracking info said. So I held fast hope...
I slice the box open with surgical precision and a Fuku bag is revealed along with a very clean smell as if someone was doing laundry. I also spy a shirt of some sort, a flyswatter, travel mug, and a squished box of Bounce dryer sheets.
Further inspection reveals the shirt to be of the Meh. variety (non Kickstarter version), and a large number of Swiffer dusters (that I actually love and use already) with no carton to call home. Seems to be a Costco-sized amount of the dusters, too. A largely disfigured box of 260 Bounce Outdoor Fresh scent dryer sheets also revealed itself. Further inspection (not pictured yet) found 16 bars of Dial soap and a shiny new pair of Trip Glasses.
Finally, the last item in the box came in quite the large quantity... 18 cartons of 230 Kleenex tissues. If you're not math(meh)tically inclined, that's 4,140 tissues. Even with allergies, 10 tissues a month would be optimistic for my use, so the way I see it I now have about a 34 year supply on hand should the zombie apocalypse start tonight. I'm trying to determine if this was some sort of com(meh)ntary on being a crybaby about an order being canceled or if I'm just lucky.
So to summarize, contents were:
• Fuku bag (thousands of uses)
• Contigo Monroe Autoseal Travel Mug (excellent regifting potential)
• SPLAT! Flyswatter (too cool not to keep for myself)
• 1 Meh. black t-shirt, size large (It will possibly fit only my head)
• 16 bars of Dial Spring Water soap (rub-a-dub-dub)
• 18 cartons of 230 count Kleenex tissues
• 1 box of 260 Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets (meh...don't use 'em)
• 1 large amount of Swiffer dusters and handle (I love these things!)
• 1 disappointed pal ( @TBoneZeOriginal ) who was hoping I'd give him my Sony speaker dock that didn't come
So if you need me, you can find squeaky clean (nose AND nether regions) me bouncing down the street, swattin' flies in a skin-tight, outdoor fresh smelling Meh. shirt, sipping hot chocolate from my Contigo mug without a speck of dust on it.

@missbear Imgur accounts are free and are pretty easy to use. Just open the site in your browser and drag a photo from Explorer or Finder onto the browser window. Then it shows you the photo and the link that you can copy and paste into your forum message.
Fuku update: I brought some Fuku things that I couldn't use (iphone speaker cldock, etc) into work and send a mass email offering them to any takers. They went quickly, I have happy co-workers, and more people know about meh.com. I also gave meh credit for things i gave away from old woot BOC's, because explaining two sites was too much effort.

@producepimp That's one of the $40 lanterns they sell at Costco. Surprisingly, it's also this year's version. I know because I've been tempted by them several times, and last year's model was less lumen, bluish light and a blue box. That one's the new box with more lumens and a warm white light. Good score if it works!

@bluedyn Same here. Well, I visit from my phone about half the time, I guess. I finally gave up on keeping up with the other super long threads. I wouldn't touch them unless I was on my laptop. The scroller extension is at least making it easier on the computer now.

@bluedyn Before the extension, with all the jumping around after pics loaded, it was just too much of a hassle to find the one new comment. The extension is indeed brilliant, and so far, working wonderfully.

It was #SDF here. I also got the PB&J spreader, Alice in Wonderland journal, seizure glasses, Bluetooth speaker, and talking cow mug. Separately, I also got the Sylvania timers from here and the camera I bought from Woot. I owe my downstairs neighbor a beer for bringing it all up while I was at work. Anyway, very cool haul, especially because I love getting stuff I didn't even know existed like the PB&J speader. That might actually become a cat toy.

Trip glasses. In all honesty, once I put a battery in them, I tried them quickly and took them off almost immediately due to the impending feeling of much eye-pain. Then a bit later, I put them on again. I had been feeling sluggish and just generally terrible the whole day. Went through the full 14 minutes, during which I felt as if my eyes were forced into a state of REM, but surprisingly I no longer felt tired after. Not sure if that is just some crazy psychosomatic effect or what.
Mysterious Sony box. From above I thought, it could be anything! A laptop! A tablet! A Blu-Ray player! A beta player! OHHHH I HOPE ITS A BETA!
Oh I see. Speaker dock alarm clock radio. Well played. Also, I did set it up and believe it has officially replaced my previous alarm clock.
And then there was this. Not sure if I should be worried. Will check back presumably in a week or less depending on delivery.

@Kidsandliz I decided to try my Sony dock even though I have nothing Apple. It has a great radio and you can plug in non-Apple products. I think your daughter will be thrilled with it. The sound is excellant.
@Teripie Thanks for letting me know. Apparently her boyfriend bought her an iphone 4 do you know if it works with that (meaning the thing in the front rather than a usb cord)? I haven't yet pulled it apart enough to find the model number to go look. I'd love it too for me but gotta make sure I have all the presents covered first. Sigh. Didn't realize it had a radio.

OMG, I tried out the seizure glasses for about a minute. It's been a half hour and I still have a headache and feel nauseous. NOT RECOMMENDED.

@jsh139 I agree they are horrible but didn't cause any headaches. The lights are just too bright and you have to dim them with the included stickers. The noise is annoying too. Battery was DOA and needed replaced.
@TheoSqua You'll need a new CR2032 lithium battery (or you can steal the one from the Sony speaker dock, like I did).

Got mine today. 8 items, mostly typical. Cow mug, Trip Glasses, Tote Bag, PB&J spreader, XtremeMac BT speaker adapter, model car (plastic, yellow Corvette convertible). I guess they ran out of speaker docs - I got a Memorex Clock Radio instead.
And then, the cruelest item - a box of Swiffer duster pads. That one was disappointing twice. First, who gets excited about cleaning products? Second, I then noticed it looked previously opened and taped. A resurgence of hope... only to be crushed. It really was just Swiffer pads. :(

@SavvySapphire I can solve the problem of being short two cats. Where do you live? I have 4 strays that I need to find homes for - One is part lynx siamese but his eyes are a funny combination of blue and yellow, one is a part siamese (body shape, talkative, that off white tan) orange marble, and one is perhaps a mix of lynx siamese and ragdoll if I were to go by the markings and large feet.
@Kidsandliz Awww, they sound adorable! It's hard to tell from the blur that she was, but the white and gray one is a Siamese mix, looks like a bluepoint, but is a feral (or was until she came to live with me and became super spoiled!)
@SavvySapphire I figured the one on the left was part lynx siamese. I left out the 4th cat. She is more or less tabby but has that siamese off white/tan color and blue eyes. The orange marble has a clipped ear so he was feral - but he is like a dog and can't stand to be further than about 5 ' from me at any time, follows me from room to room… All are very sweet babies. I am serious these guys need homes. I can't afford 7 cats. All of mine started out as strays, one was only 10 days old and abandoned. Lived in my pocket for a while.
@Kidsandliz Awww! Yeah, I love Siamese and Siamese mixes. My mom and I both have Siamese mixes that look like blue points. I'd love to take some of yours, but I can barely afford the ones I have. At one point though, I had 7 cats and a dog, so I understand the cost factor! Funny, my girl follows me too!

Looks like the speaker dock also works as an alarm clock, and I've been needing a new one for a while now. Reagan was president when I got my current clock.
@LionMan Can you connect the bluetooth converter to the speaker dock and make it wireless for whatever phone you do have?
@kadagan Doesn't look like it. The converter only has an audio out, but the speaker dock only has an audio in port. You can connect another mp3 device to the audio port, but just can't use the remote to adjust the mp3 device.
On second though, maybe you can, using the audio in port in the back. I don't have a phone though that would work with that. I'm cheap.
I think mine showed up Monday, but I finally made it over to the apartment leasing office to pick it up. Hard to get too excited about meh, you know?

We are both super happy with our fukus so thank you! Also, down to trade out one of the speaker docks as we don't need two. Frankly we don't need one which is why we have never bought one but now that it's here it's set up next to the bed as an alarm clock.
@patti Do either sony speaker docks have the usb port on the back? Or a 30 pin rather than lightening 8 pin on the front? If yes I am up for a trade - planning to give it to my kid for her birthday on the 7th but she has an iphone 4S and so my speaker dock isn't going to work for her without an adapter or a usb port that some have, but not mine. I have already posted what I have. Will trade anything, including the meh bag (but not the bluetooth transmitter - that is my sister's birthday present, already sent and the GI joe as that was coveted by a neighbor kid and so it now his) if either of your speaker docs will work for her.

i would just like to report in to be careful with your KAPOW POW BOINK mug set. they are much more realistic and powerful than i expected.
as i poured some hot water into the mug i enjoyed a nice "KRRRACCKKK" sound effect, and my counter was covered in hot water, wiped that away to find a nice sparkly counter top!

yes the sony box is a ipod dock, and yes the cow mug talks!
I got my box today. All the typical things (minus the b/t adapter). The audio in sounds a little tinny on the Sony dock (may be my cable). One thing I got that was different was an Arizona Cardinals candy dish in the shape of a football helmet.
Also, 18x15.14 and 9.9lbs. (dock/pbj/cow mug/trip glasses/bag/helmet)
@dsantillan My dock has a "sound" button that expands the sound three two different ways (megabass and expander or some such). Really made a difference. I'm liking it.
@joelmw I figured out my problem. I was using a really old (possibly frayed) cable for audio in. I changed it out and the sound was great. Especially with the mega bass/expander.

@Pony You don't need an iSometing to use it. You can plug non-iSomethings in the back. The radio and clock are very nice. I guess I'm a big fan of these things, I've numerously posted about how good they are.
@Teripie Not al of them has a non-iSomething port in the back. Mine doesn't and several other said theirs don't.

@hallmike Mine has an USB port, but it does have an "aux in" port in the back. I wonder if there are any out there that have neither. I don't recall any commenters saying they had no alternative inputs at all.
@InFrom I should have said it hasn't got a USB port. Oops. That said, I plugged my iPod into the Aux In port and wow, did it sound crappy! Very particular about where I could leave the device, lots of static, and low volume. It was even worse with my Sansa Clip (from Woot, of course!) All I got was static with that one, no music at all. But it may just be the fault of the cable I used, a little retractable number I got from Monoprice a few years back. I'd like to try it with a better-quality cable. Meanwhile, hoping that the adapter I bought off eBay today will at least let me charge my iPod and give decent sound quality.
@Teripie I hadn't noticed the audio in port- that's a game changer. Thanks. I'll see if I can make it work with my stupid Windows phone.
@mediobarkre Yes, I would be willing to do that trade. The bluetooth thingie is cool, but I really had my heart set on those mugs.

@Pony OK I can trade you the mugs. The family member I was going to give them to for christmas I can give them something else. It's not like they know they are coming… I have benefited from the trades to get the speaker dock for my kid's birthday (mine was DOA, and she needed 30 pin not lightening and so a lightening from someone else is going to them the 30 pin to me) Since you don't want your speaker dock I have another family member I don't have a present for yet I could give that to them. That would work at this end if that would work at your end...

Fuku order placed, Fuku order accepted nearly 6 days ago. I wait. Nearly 6 days later my order status is changed to "Canceled" with no explanation. I contact support and am told "Our system oversold the fuku bags by 2 people. And it turns out that you and one other lucky person were the last two to order and we had to cancel them."
TWO people? Seriously? A site that specializes in Meh crap doesn't have any more crap lying around to account for your TWO person screwup? Come on...

So my plight: I was Tweeted at by @mediocrelabs prior to Fuku 2. I DM'd them my address and they mentioned theyd be mailing me something.
I guessed it was something a tad more than meh. When I DM'd later asking if I'd have an order to track they told me it would be later this week.
Now I see many have received their Fuku2's and I have no order form, and am on the verge of drooling to drool of regret into the pillow of sorrow...

Got our Fukus yesterday and they were great (Sorry Meh). My husband and I both got a refurb Sony speaker dock. Mine also contained the Bam Kapow mugs, SNL Swill Matchbox, bag, trip glasses, Sailor Moon candles and scratch and sniff stickers. My husbands contained trip glasses, bag, "Cow Are You Today" talking mug , swordfish funnel and XtremeMac Bluetooth Connect Audio Receiver.
You'll have to try a lot harder to un-impress me.
@jenny One of the things I like about meh is their desire to set low expectations. I empathize. I've been telling my wife since the day I met her that I'm a bum. We've been married for almost five years now (and are still quite giddily happy). Now, part of that is that she's so awesome, but I'd also argue that the expectation of meh is working. And I am a bum, which, yaknow, makes me honest. So there's that.

So total curiosity here...is there a set number of minimum items per box? Opened my box to find one speaker dock, one bag, and one set of pow/kapow mugs. Wasn't sure if the mugs counted as one or three items. What say you, @JonT @snapster ???

@studerc I decided to look into this. Because, you know, I'm a half-decent guy...¯| (ツ) /¯. Your box was 10.5lbs, which seems heavy for what you received. Did the tape look broken or anything?
@hart appreciate the effort. Upon second look at the box, it does look like it may have been retaped. I weighed the box and contents and it came in at around 8 lbs. no big deal, just glad to know it wasn't mehs fault. Thanks again for your efforts.

@Thumperchick yea I found it odd since it was just a brown box. I suppose I deserve it being the goat. Besides I still have a terrible scapegoat thing from @JonT that I'm still looking forward to.
@hart Talked to Post office this morning, when the box arrived they didn't notice any openings or causes of concern. Then I contacted the local fedex distribution center, box was re-taped at center after they noticed tape missing on the top of the box, but wouldn't comment on the loss of product. They mentioned they would look into internally to see if any additional boxes were "tampered" with. At least it wasn't Meh's fault!

Son got his and brought to our house to share the unboxing. He got the usual stuff, Sony dock, Bluetooth converter, cow mug. But he did get one thing I haven't seen yet; a Sharper Image Pet-o-Meter, pet pedometer. It's prefect for his overweight dogs!

The speaker dock is a lightening connector. I know you can plug something that needs a 30 pin connector in the back via the usb port (eg using the device's charging cord)- however if you do that does it also charge the device while you are using it? Also does anyone know where to find a "male end 30 pin to female end lightening adaptor"? Radio Shack doesn't have one, been on the phone for the last 1/2 hour with an apple employee who, I think, knows less than me - I had to figure out what was on the end of an iphone 4 (my kid's phone) to even know what kind of adapter we needed for that end. She didn't even know that. Geesh. HELP! (and thanks) ok apple doesn't make one.

@Kidsandliz You can find "30 Pin male to Lightning 8-Pin female Adapter" on ebay or Amazon. No guarantee they will fit as I have not seen the dock, but in my head it works.
@hallmike I am going to have to find some sort of adapter as this sony dock has no usb port that I can find. If I can't get one somewhere then I guess it won't work as my kid's best birthday present ever (well she'd love a car but I need to replace the ghetto van first LOL)

@KDemo It's not a simple adapter as in just re-routing connections from one place to another. The lightning connecter requires a lot of smarts to go with it. Got mine today… really disappointed that I didn't get the Sony alarm clock that everyone else is getting. As I just bought an iPhone 6+, it no longer fits on the current alarm clock I'm using. That larger Sony one would've been so perfect!
But here I am… looking at a basic alarm clock that projects the time on the ceiling. That's what I got.

So about that speaker dock -- it's got the Lightning connector (no USB port), and my only i-device is an iPod Touch 4th gen. I'm going to look into getting one of those adapters, and see how it goes, unless I find someone to trade with for a 30-pin one. I plugged it in and tuned to a local FM station (came in strong, even with no antenna). I have to say it sounded great. Very tempted to just keep it as a clock radio, that I may or may not be able to use for docking someday.
Hmm, am I forgetting something? (I unboxed at the office, and schlepped some of the stuff home yesterday.) No, I think that was it.
Overall, wish I could be completely meh, but I do like the sound on that Sony, and I love the bag. Sorry, Meh, but thanks!
Edited to add: just noticed the "Aux in" jack around the back. That could seal the deal for me to keep it. I'm going to plug in the iPod and see how it goes.

Gotta say, I am quite disappointed. I know that’s the point, but it certainly happened. There really was nothing good in this box. And haven’t even seen any good bags in this thread. Not really sure its worth the $10. I like Meh, I visit everyday but how underwhelming... Ceramic San Diego Chargers helmet shaped candy dish. Also available to someone local. 5. Sony Dream Machine speaker dock compatible with the iPhone 6. It is also an AM/FM alarm clock that allows different alarms for weekdays and weekends. So I'm ignoring the dock and using it as an alarm clock. 6b. the AM antenna and remote control for the Dream machine. 7. Peanut butter and Jelly spreader. Also available for someone local. 0. @Kidsandliz I don't have high hopes. That way I don't get disappointed :) keep an eye on your fuku weight. Sometimes they stick a placeholder weight in there until it arrives at fedex and is scanned/weighed. But I'll definitely be posting my contents!

Oh my goodness, one of ours (mine, not my husband's!!!) has made it to the local facility already! And, it's been updated from the 3 lb placeholder to 18x15x14 in and 10.2 lbs. Oddly enough, my husband's left the Tx facility an hour earlier than mine and his still hasn't made it to the local facility yet, but I'm thrilled that mine is thisclose, and that it got bigger!
@PurplePawprints Same, although mine says the weight is 9.7lbs. Sure beats the original 3lbs. Basically guarantee's me 3X as much crap, woohoo!

@wa27 THey either printed you two mailing labels by mistake so two identical boxes or you have something special coming
@wa27 are you sure you have 2 tracking numbers or are you seeing the USPS and Fed Ex links to the same package? The USPS will stay blank until Fed Ex hands the package to the USPS and they take over the delivery to you.

@ceagee Your tracking for USPS will update when FedEx sends the information to them, usually 2 or 3 days before expected delivery. It just means it is coming Smartpost.

My unopened Meh box now sits in my car...waiting for me to get off work, go home, and enjoy my Mehdiocrity. However, as I look at the sealed box I ponder holding onto it and perhaps letting it sit a year or so unopened before trying to auction it off on Ebay. I wonder what a vintage unopened Fuku box would go for. And it also makes me think, as popular as the BoCs were/are, why I never tried to do this the three times I actually landed one.

My wife and I got ours today. Pretty standard. Didn't bother taking a photo before the kids started disappearing with the contents. The (2) Sony Ipod/Iphone dock is actually really nice -- if only I had an Iphone or Ipod :) They'll probably be given away to friends.

My sony speaker dock with radio does not seem to have a usb port like some people have unless I am totally blind. Is it hidden somewhere? Also I need a "30 Pin male to Lightning 8-Pin female Adapter" and can only find them the other way around (eg 30 pin female, 8 pin male)
OK found this adaptor on ebay (anyone find it on amazon - I can't seem to) and searched exactly "30 Pin male" to "Lightning 8-Pin female" Adapter however it only works with the 4s and not the 4 with respect to speaker docks

Found it on amazon finally when I searched exactly this: "30 Pin male" to "Lightning 8-Pin female" Adapter it looks like quality control is uneven looking at the reviews. Some work and some do not, although some complaints of not working might be they are trying to use it with an iphone4 (where is does not work) rather than with an iphone 4S
@Kidsandliz I keep reading others say that you can connect other USB devices through the USB port on the back but mine didn't have a USB port on the back either.
@cengland0 I think there are several versions of this floating around. You and I got the no usb port one unfortunately as it makes it being backwardly compatible harder and more expensive (eg have to buy an adapter).
@Kidsandliz It's highly unlikely you'll find an adapter that goes from lightning to 30-pin iPhone. There's a lot more involved in a lightning connector than just the connections. I've been wanting to buy the trip glasses for a while (and really should have when i was at a con that mitch attendend). The battery in the glasses was going bad, they were just lighting up solid red and no sound so i popped it open and put in a fresh 2032 and they work great now.

@Kidsandliz Actually, it may fit in a Priority mail flat rate box (about $12). I can swing by the post office today after work and pick up a box, then see if it will fit in there. I found out the siblings actually have the newer iPods (with lightning). cheapest adapter I could find (non-generic) was about $15-20. I should probably also plug the speaker dock in and make sure it works!
@cag80 Yeah - finding out whether or not it works would be good. I was going to canvas friends to plug in their phones to test mine out. If it safely fits in a priority box maybe you can see if you can find someone with an ipod or something that is older to see if it works beyond having power?

@aavella2 earlier in this thread we found lightening (8 pin) female to 30 pin male. You might have to, if you can't find female lightening to male android get the previously mentioned and then to that attach a 30 pin female to I presume male android...
Are the Trip Glasses supposed to... do anything? Or is it just a pair of red LEDs that I stare into? Mine don't blink or anything, so I just see all the gunk inside my eyes. And there's no sound, either, unless I haven't found the volume control.
@editorkid From the video I saw about them, the red lights should be blinking and there should be kind of a dual tone noise. I haven't opened mine up yet. Kinda scared to. heh.
@editorkid Mine came the same way - it means the battery is low. Replace it, and you'll be tripping in no time.
@editorkid Take the battery out of the bottom of the Sony and try it out. Close your eyes, turn it on and listen to the sounds and sights. I think what happens is your brain doesn't know how to interpret the data and everything starts turning white and then you start seeing random shapes. I wasn't as disappointed with the glasses as I should be.

I've just been informed that there is a box from Meh waiting for me. I don't know if that's my second fuku box or if it's Toshiba batteries. I asked them to not let me know anything about the box so I can be properly surprised in case it is the 'other thing'. I'll head home for lunch to take a look. Now the only problem is lunch isn't for another 3 hours.
That Sony speaker dock is pretty sweet- I haven't even gotten the cord for the aux in to use my phone with it, but the radio sounds great, and I finally got rid of my horrible old alarm clock that I hated. Yay! I mean... meh.
@Pony I powered mine up last night, the sound is amazing. Only problem is I don't own an itouch or ipod. so this may end up costing me a few bucks to do it right.
@somf69 I don't either, but a $5 cord will plug my Windows phone into the aux in port, and I'll be good to go. :)

Ok....so things have changed? A few days ago, it said
3 lbs 10x10x10. I just checked to see what state is was sitting in ( now West Virginia) and it's been updated to 18x15x14 and 10.6 lbs. This appears to be an old ebay trick. You put a small box and weight in to pay for low postage, but then the Fed Ex scanner finds it and updates the numbers.. well played meh, well played.

The North Country (which also includes the Adirondacks, which can also be separate part of the North country ). Downstate is south of the greater NYC area and southeast of Syracuse. At least that's how WNYers see it ;-)
BTW WNY includes Rochester and Buffalo area. And of course there's also the Finger Lakes which is sort of it's own thing too. Borders WNY, ST, and Upstate and is often considered a part of all three ! NY is complicated .

@Thumperchick My tracking is updated the same… Don't know how they got it from Dallas to Memphis where it is currently sitting but it took them 63.75 hours to do so. It is just a 3.5hour drive to my house from where it is right now. Well this is no fair - mine had delivery on Wed and when I just checked to see if it had left Memphis yet (got there Sunday evening) it suddenly has been changed to delivery on Thurs!!! and it has SAT THERE ALL DAY!!! (says the USPS has been notified to come get it). And Memphis is only 3.5 hours from here.
@Kidsandliz FedEx drops it off at USPS, sometimes at a regional center and sometimes at the delivery unit. Often the drop off is after the carrier leaves to deliver the mail for the day so next day is earliest it can go out.
@speediedelivery In this case it got there Sunday night and was still sitting there when I posted just after midnight last night (still only says info sent to USPS this morning 36+ hours later) Sigh… I guess I prefer snail slow and cheap than faster and costs more...
@Kidsandliz Info sent is not the actual package. It is the tracking info sent electronically saying FedEx will be bringing it. It still could be a few days before it arrives at USPS. Most places USPS will scan it as enroute or arrival at unit when the actual box is dropped off. When FedEx is shorthanded or busy or just put it in the wrong pallet, it can be a week or so before the actual package arrives at USPS.
Mine is 18x15x14 and 10.9 lbs. It is scheduled to show up on Friday but it is currently only one hour away. I hope it doesn't come Friday as I will not be in CA, I will be in TX.
Seems like maybe the later the shipdate, the better the score? Looks like a standard speaker dock and mug in all the ones to be shipped first....

Husband and I both received our boxes today. Nothing new in either one expect maybe the Magnetic Dinosaur Bingo Game. The rest was trip glasses, Elvis cups, Bluetooth converter thingy's, etc. We both did get the Sony iPhone thing, will be handy in this Android household. All in all, lots of stuff to add to our Xmas give-away crap.
How do you guys know how much these weigh? My confirmation info. doesn't list it and neither does this box that arrived today. Are BOC boxes usually this big?
@JT954 we have inside contacts at fedex that weigh them for us and text us. or, we look up the tracking# on the fedex site and it says the weight there. also, your second question assumes we have the ability to see the size of your box. i want to know how you found out we have cameras set up all over your house and office. it's not like we're the NSA. or are we...
@carl669 Ah I assumed all of these measured 10x10x10. Checking Fed Ex, mine is 18x15x14 and weighs 10.9 pounds. And I moved recently so I'm hearing "things".

Mine was supposed to come tomorrow, but was just changed to Friday. And considering that it's in WI and normally goes from there to Grove City, OH, and then to my post office, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not Saturday before it gets here. So more anticipation!
Ah... My ETA just changed from this week Saturday to next week Monday! And, also the size and weight have been updated to 15x15x11 in and 5.6 lb. Definitely no Sony speaker dock for me...

Trip Glasses (dead battery). To try these out, I took the battery out of the speaker dock (most useful it will ever be) and put it in the glasses. The lights immediately started, and when I pressed the button, they would turn off only as long as the button was pressed. These were certainly meh, the inventor, Mitch, if the instructions are to be trusted, clearly had a very mediocre understanding of how buttons and switches work.
@Xan lights turn off after 14 minutes. Do you get sound out of the headphones? I don't get any sound.
@lcastil1 I do get sound. Just another testament to the manufacturing quality that Mitch continues to push to the upper limit. I did just let it run for 14 minutes and was surprised to see it turn off. I figured that they fact that it turned on the moment I put the battery in, and only paused when I held the button that it was defective.
I am so excited. My Fukubukuro sound be in tomorrow. Can't wait to see what @Snapster and the gang thought what my $5 would deserve in return

@elgefe I got the red bag. If your sony dock has the usb port in the back I will trade you mine that does not have it plus the red bag for yours. Because mine does not have it I have to buy an adapter for my kid (giving this to her for her birthday on the 7th).

@pooflady Both Chicago airports were closed this morning due to a fire at an air-traffic control facility, causing ripple effects. If a plane was delayed, that would do it. Then again, I think these were all shipped ground, so maybe not?
@DJP519 "SmartPost" packages are among the lowest priority packages in the FedEx system. FedEx is probably trying to deliver as many of those high priority air shipments as they can, in a timely way. FedEx is probably using FedEx Ground trucks and personnel to ship stuff from airports with problems to airports that are fully operational. The Fedex website says there was a big problem in Memphis last night, http://www.fedex.com/us/servicealerts/

If you were planning to give away you Sony speaker dock check to see that it works first. Mine does not… which is too bad as there was a potential trade in process - my lightening one for someone else's 30 pin one as my kid has a iphone 4s and this was going to be her birthday present… sigh. It was going to make her so happy and I just can't afford to buy her one as I am unemployed (only buying things here that are cheap so I have things to give for family for birthdays and christmas - those $3 headlamps were great for that!!).

@hallmike nope does nothing. DOA. I haven't unscrewed yet where the power supply goes in to see if it is hardwired or plug in thus can sub it out… Most people have a sticker on theirs on the front and mine doesn't. I am wondering if mine is a return of a refurbished and they didn't tell it was broken...
@Kidsandliz Well poop. If you can't get it working I will send you mine - it's got the lightning dock so you'll still need an adapter but at least your daughter will have her birthday gift. I ask for or expect nothing in return... except for maybe taking back that "clueless husband" remark. ;)

You to @cag80 (got a 30 pin and needs a lightening), cag80 to me and I have a deck of eragon cards in a metal tin and a Roseanna Roseannadanna matchbox car, neither of which have a gift recipient yet if you'd like them. I unscrewed the back of it. It has a two thin wire pin plug in. I fussed with it and still nothing happened. I guess the next step is to go to radio and try a new plug. I'll do that in the morning.

@JT954 But I could give it to family for christmas if the trade/sale was cheap enough. There are a couple of family members with iphone 5. WIth the three way trade I got a 30 pin for my kid's birthday on the 7th. I still have christmas (which is the only stuff I am buying here as I have no money for wants - so far spent $42 here and have 7 or 8 taken care of - not sure about one item.).
@Kidsandliz Looking at past comments, I went and tried the device. The radio sounds good. I didn't unwrap it so I don't know if the pins and other part of it work, but the display lights up for times and alarms so I assume that is working. What do you have in mind to trade? I noticed you had other people involved in trading so I don't know what the rules are here. I don't see a private messaging feature here so ....
