Driving Game (Part 56)
5If you’re new to the Driving Game, you can just look back at the start of it all here in Part 1 for the full rules.
Please consider the kind folks who maintain our cheat sheet and add your post in the format of “Artist Name - Song Name” followed by a link to the song on the next line. That way they all look the same and it’s easier on the Cheat Sheet team when it’s time to update that list.
Speaking of the Cheat Sheet… The full history of our game, with links to each of the past threads, can be found on the Driving Game Cheat Sheet. Use that to avoid getting vetoed by a duplicate.
Have fun!

I had to remedy the inexplicable absence of Lucinda Williams in the game. I blame myself.
@ircon96 I blame you too.
@yakkoTDI Touché. But, i must say, you were ZERO help.
@ircon96 I know. The biggest problem I am having with this game is thinking of song/artist names to post. Tons of music knowledge** but horrible artist/song title recall during this game.
Thanks to our local community radio station I have known about Lucinda Williams for decades but still couldn’t think of her name or song titles to post.
**Not an expert just tons of knowledge. Mostly scattered through different genres.
@yakkoTDI I get it, I have that exact problem! Google is my best friend sometimes. Of course, that’s IF i can think of the right thing to search. But it sure beats my feeble memory. <sigh>

@chienfou What’s the connection to my reply?
@chienfou Or even the reply above mine?
@chienfou if I may…I see a connection between “Hoover” and “Kirby” as both brands of vacuums
@januarymick @yakkoTDI
DING, DING, DING… we have a winner!
(both famous dirt-suckers!)
@chienfou @januarymick Not even close to what the rules say but if you want to go that route I think I can make this very hard to find the connections.
@ExtraMedium Ski Patrol! We need help!
@chienfou @ExtraMedium @januarymick @yakkoTDI This one was a lot more obvious to me than “number” to “Doobie”! chienfou’s getting real creative these days .
@ExtraMedium @januarymick @Kyeh @yakkoTDI
mea culpa. I will try to dial it back a notch…or three
BTW what’s the general consensus on the switch from blue to green earlier in this part. Can we all agree that is OK?
@chienfou @ExtraMedium @januarymick @yakkoTDI Yeah, except the obvious link there is “call me.” But sequences of colors have been done before.
@ExtraMedium @januarymick @Kyeh @yakkoTDI
D’uhhh…facepalm!
Kicking off Part 57.
