We bought one of these bags last time to take on our trip when we walked around NYC for a day with our 3 boys and it was awesome!
The bag has pockets and compartments for everything. The zippers are not cheapo like on a pot of backpacks these days.
Best backpack I’ve ever bought period. Would be perfect for a bug out bag, school bag, whatever. If you need a backpack, buy this one!
After reading through every feature of this backpack, I still can’t get over my very first impression, which is, “Wal Mart sells something (other than electronics) for $60?”
Really like this bag! Tons of pockets, nice color(olive). Should make an excellent replacement for my current one. No damage to speak of thankfully but the bottom seam looks like someone just sewed in the extra thread(poorly, since it’s sticking out the outside) instead of cutting it off. Guess that’s why it was on meh.
I have bought every backpack going back to the neon Thule’s Meh offered a long while back. This one is missing the best feature of the Thules and InCase’s…outside pockets for beverage cups. Using the Thules showed me that one little feature is the best part of it…
I am very upset I received my backpack today I love it it’s really nice and I need it for a trip in 10 days but unfortunately it came damaged the seam is splitting on the bottom right I would like to get another one before my trip of March 17 please advise as to how we can take care of this ASAP
I’ve been needing a new backpack. Mine is eons old. I like the built-in pocket to slide the suitcase handle in, I created that on my existing pack with the straps for walking through airports, but it is mickey-moused.
You know, the way that these are arranged along with the choice of colors seem to be ‘channeling’ the Orvis office backpack. If these are even close to that quality they would be a good value.

TardMart says this is “16 inch Deep, 13 inch Long, 5 inch Wide.” Here under “Specs” it show the measurements as, “16” L x 13 " W x 5" D," The Specs also state, “Padded Laptop Compartment fits Laptops up to 17”. Leave it to Meh to entirely disrupt the laws of physics. Sooooo, anybody have any idea what size this thing is?
I just bought a bag that can convert into a backpack, but it’s a squarish nylon affair. I like the “comfy” look of this one — who says you can only have one bag at a time? (I’m not talking about literally using both of them at the same time.)
I got my backpack today. Mine is fine. The olive color is a little more green than in the sample photo, but more grey than the walmart version. I like it! Happy with my purchase.
Ok I’m just now finding a use for this bag, only to realize there’s an anti-theft cable thing attached to it (called 3alarm)? WTH? How am I supposed to get it off?
@jonobs That sounds like a mistake. Mine is sitting right next to me, and did not arrive with any sort of anti-theft cable. You should probably contact customer support.

Walmart calls this “Dopp Mens Rugged Canvas Laptop Backpack.” I guess I’d better keep this thing away from my lady parts. Meh.

Polyurethane. Isn’t that what they call varnish? I learned from HGTV that the varnish color depends on the wood. Apparently it’s the same for Canvas.

@JustKen Laptop sizes are the diagonal of the screen. First one I googled was about 16" W x 11" H
