I was going to buy these with the 15% off cyber week coupon but I was too busy trying to decide between products. I procrastinated long enough to miss out all together, coupon expired!
Today is a new day…

OK, so exactly a week later these arrived. Nicely done, Meh and FedEx!
Hadn’t planned to use the Bluetooth feature since I simply needed earmuffs for winter walks and biking. (They seem to be like that stranded single sock - who knows where they hide?) And 10 bucks was what we had been paying for loss leader holiday deals at JC Penny for plain earmuffs.
But paired them up and while they certainly are far from “musical” and dynamic, they do have fairly clear sound. At least if not at topped out volume. They don’t go real loud.
Briefly tested on Pink Floyd, Brian Ferry, Manu Chau, Cat Stevens, Steely Dan, Talking Heads, Sting, Eric Clapton, Bach, and Chopin.
They’re least unhappy with unplugged music.
Oh, BTW, they seem to be comfortable with that soft faux-fur lining… haven’t tested over a couple hours tho.
Hopefully they’ll be both electronically and physically durable! Should have bought 3 rather than 2!
Before contacting Customer Support to return them because you cannot find the microUSB charge connector…
My first pair was easy since the short cable end was peaking out.
My other pair had the cable buried in the “Right” ear lining. Run your pointer finger into the opening on the inside top of the Right earpiece cover (there’s an open slot at the top of the inside of the earpiece) along the front/“+” edge of that lining. Fishing around in there, you’ll feel the speaker, the spring wire frame, and a larger diameter insulated wire with the microUSB connector on the end of it. Carefully pull that connector slightly out thru the slot at the top of the earpiece cover. Leave it peaking out so it is there when you need to charge. It did not appear to impact comfort when wearing the earmuffs.
I actually needed ear muffs - will likely never even bother with the Bluetooth part.
Getting really difficult to find a JC Penny in the area - where they’re (Sans ear speakers) typically sold as holiday loss leaders.
I kinda want these for walking the dog but I don’t want to get hit by a car.
@sammydog01 leave the speakers unpaired. I’m simply using them as earmuffs.
@RedOak @sammydog01 Do they actually fit your dog?

VMP justified this month, at least.

@RedOak YOU CAN BUY MORE! If you like pink. Thanks for the review. Do you think they would be comfortable enough to sleep in?
@sammydog01 sleep thing answered on the new deal page.
No, pink doesn’t do it for me or the gift closet!
@sammydog01
