I bought this in May when they sold it then, but waiting to replace my kitchen sink to install it. Anyone that bought it last time really like it? Will I end up hating it?
@jnicholson0619 We got the nickel one back then and love it, actually just bought the bronze finish one for future renovations as it will fit the planned decor better. Fraction of the price we’ve seen at the big box home stores!
@ohhwell everything about this seems to be like the model in my kitchen… and if so there is a knob on the control box that you can turn that will shut this option off. But it also shuts off the sensor so once you get used to using it, it’s a chore to actually use the handle… fucking 3rd world shit.
IT IS however necessary to be able to shut this timer off if you live in a place that gets below freezing (I use this every year, and I am in Texas) so that you can leave a continuous trickle of water.
I love my faucet so much I’m contemplating buying one of these simply to have a back up at half the “on sale” price i got the one i have.
@ongware boy, they could have explained that better. So, if you are washing something large and it is in the sensor range… Maybe it keeps turning on and off? Lol
How do you pull it down if you can’t touch it…?

Hold up… The water runs for 3 minutes minimum every time you start this thing???
@ohhwell Just put your hand near the sensor and the faucet will turn on or off automatically.
I feel like this explains why I hate the automatic fountain at work and how often it turns off. I’m giving it the turn off command unknowingly.

@jweber1145 but…
“Water will stop if the sensor hasn’t detected any motion in 3 minutes”
@jweber1145 @ohhwell and this is usually a preferable thing… unless you routinely run your sink unattended for longer than 3 minutes.
which seems kind of odd to me.
No, just sensor it again, for off. Maximum of 3 mins with no motion in case you walk away

@ohhwell @ongware not so much. have had a faucet like this for years and only on rare occasion does it turn into an episode of keystone cops.
that’s not to say that it doesn’t happen… but the plus far outweighs the minus
Don’t they have smart faucets now. Just say Google, Alexa, Karen turn on kitchen faucet lol
