@yakkoTDI@yeppers
Doesn’t work just send it right back, it come with a 3 year limited warranty. I want one to but I’m on the fence to bc of them being refurbished but cuisinart is a pretty good and I would think they would fix their products.
@Pufferfishy I was making the family pasta salad recipe for a big family get-together which needed like 10 pounds of pasta. It was a big get-together (and like 5 years ago, in the Before Times).
Supreme wide-mouth feed tube with small, medium, and large pushers
Dicing disc with 10mm grid plus cleaning tool
Stainless steel chopping/mixing blade with patented BladeLock system, including dough blade and small and large S-Blades
Stainless steel reversible shredding disc (fine/medium)
What’s included? It doesn’t say the grating or slicing blades are included. Wouldn’t be much good without them. Interested in buying but only if it includes all the parts.
What say you Meh?
@allergycheryl
Yeah me too, glad you pointed that out I almost bought it. Would have been really upset if I got it and it didn’t have the blades. But why would they sell it without the blades?
I wish. My food processor is 25+ years old, and the blade housing is cracked. It’s gonna die any minute. Can’t spare the money for this right now though. Dang.
I own this. I bought it to replace one I had from 2007.
It definitely is cheaper and not as useful as my older model.
That being said.
The suction cups on the feet are great, and the different attachments are trendy. I still basically use the blade.
The compartment meant for cheese, or zucchini is small so you have to chop up whatever you’d be putting in there.
I use a small ninja more than this.
And, my hand crank spiralizer over this.
Maybe skip it.
@craigthom Likewise, no dicing kit included in mine. I fear that the dicing kit wasn’t supposed to be included, even though Meh’s listing says that it is. I received model CFP-26SVPCFR. Looking at listings for this model at other retailers, I see they don’t mention a dicing kit. I think Meh used the listing information for CFP-26SVPC, instead, which does include the dicing kit. Oops?
@olsmeister This one says it was refurbished by Cuisinart, not a third party. I’m wary of third party refurbs, but I’ve not had a problem with manufacturer ones.
I clicked on the Amazon link for this, and it’s riddled with complaints that the refurbished units do not include the dicing kit. I am wondering what is really included in the box.
@skrubol Well, never know what you’re going to get from Meh. I received this today. It does NOT have the dicing kit. However it is the “S” model, and so does have the spiralizer. In addition, it has an extra blade for the spiralizer that’s not listed in the literature (angel hair blade). I would trade the spiralizer for the dicing kit though, if I could.
I have a fear that if I buy this, I’ll get the specific Costco food processor I returned after smoke billowed out of the motor during its first use.
Not just the same model, the same one, what with these being refurbished and all.
(And no, I wasn’t blending rocks or something, I was making mayonnaise. Or aioli, if you want to get fancy.)
@yeppers I am sure they removed all the excess smoke from it. You should be fine. Or not.
@yeppers I use a stick blender for mayonnaise.
@yeppers Right? I mean - how much mayonnaise do you have to make to use a 13 cup food processor for it??
@yakkoTDI @yeppers
Doesn’t work just send it right back, it come with a 3 year limited warranty. I want one to but I’m on the fence to bc of them being refurbished but cuisinart is a pretty good and I would think they would fix their products.
@craigthom I was trying to make a lot of mayonnaise.

I’ve been thinking I need to replace my old hand-me-down food processor. This seems pretty great for the right price.

@nikodrant wins the award for most freaking adorable meh order giphy ever 🥰🥰🥰 (if there were such an award ).
Can the Swedish Chef make Swedish Fish?
@yakkoTDI he damn well should
@kerryzero @yakkoTDI He makes an amazing popacornde shrimpies.
This one is “refurbished”; the one in the Amazon link is “renewed”. I want one that is “new” again, not one that is "furbished’ again.
@phendrick Not me. I want the one actually refurbished by the manufacturer, not the used one cleaned up by an Amazon partner.
@craigthom Sounds like personal experience behind that; any story to tell?
@phendrick nope, just reading the description of the Amazon product:
Under included I don’t see the 4 blades listed. Before I buy want to make sure everything that is listed is included with the purchase,
@w5ukf They’re listed under the specs,
What’s included? It doesn’t say the grating or slicing blades are included. Wouldn’t be much good without them. Interested in buying but only if it includes all the parts.

Manufacturer Refurbished means they did not make the “Will it blend” cut. Dr. Who escaped the Cybermen before the audition.

There seems to be a significant discrepancy between the SPECS and WHAT’S INCLUDED. Does it come with the additional blades and storage case or not?
Hey meh!!! Can you answer a question??? Do the blades come with this, it’s not listed as within the box.
Does come with the attachment to shampoo my car upholstery?
I own this. I bought it to replace one I had from 2007.

I got mine today. It’s got all the blades and discs and such in a handy storage box that I’ve totally got room for.
It’s also got the dicing kit, I assume, with a big plastic disc, a different lid, and two metal discs in a case that could hold three.
@craigthom the plastic drawers are the spiralizer kit. Not seeing a dicing blade in mine.
@trimm thanks. I wasn’t sure what it was. Mine only has two little discs and an empty drawer.
@craigthom Likewise. Looks like 2 are included and one is in case you buy a third one lol

Thank God they didn’t chop up Glen!

The last time I bought a kitchen appliance “refurbished” from Meh, it came with little bits of food dried to it.
@olsmeister This one says it was refurbished by Cuisinart, not a third party. I’m wary of third party refurbs, but I’ve not had a problem with manufacturer ones.
@olsmeister
@accelerator @olsmeister Those aren’t just little bits of food, it’s been prenutritionized.
@olsmeister

@azm this one says it’s refurbished by Cuisinart. The Amazon one says it’s used and was cleaned up by a third party.
Also, does it include the spiralizer kit? Other sites that list this model number tend to show it including the spiralizer.
@skrubol I did some looking around, and those part numbers tend to include an “S” in them.
@olsmeister Ah, I missed that. Most of the results for the 13 cup model are a completely different format.
@skrubol Well, never know what you’re going to get from Meh. I received this today. It does NOT have the dicing kit. However it is the “S” model, and so does have the spiralizer. @olsmeister @skrubol Yeah, I received the same thing. Pretty disappointed, I only decided to get this because of the dicing kit inclusion.
We’ll give it a go. Hopefully the Specs are representative of what’s actually in the box…
