I’d much rather just have a tall desk and a tall chair. Then, if I want to sit I can. If I want to stand, I can just hop off the chair.
No adjustments. No moving parts. Increased under-desk storage. If I want to stand, but lean on my chair, I can. If a co-workers comes into my office and needs to see my screen, he doesn’t have to bend down to it.
Lots of lab space is set up this way.

The website/retailer collecting that tax is a convenience… Whether or not the purchase includes tax, you probably owe it to your state.
People (lawmakers most of all!) failing to understand Use Tax and the fact that they actually owe the tax on an item purchased tax-free is a huge problem with the “Internet Sales Tax” discussion.
