Did anyone see that coming? Vacuum Sealers kicked the bristles out of the Electric Toothbrushes with a final score of 31 to 14. But don’t get too excited you bag sucking fans, you’re going to be facing Power Banks in the next round!
Today we have a legitimate contest of two heavyweights in a whole different form of sucking. It’s the battle of laziness vs thoroughness. Do you prefer to sit back and hope your Roomba gets the job done or do you take a little initiative and get your ass to pushing around your upright Dyson or Shark vacuum? Happy Voting!

- @narfcake voted Roomba (I have another brand, can’t recall which at moment because we call it lots of things) because of things like riding cats, the way that no matter where you are it seems to come find you to smack into you feet, etc, etc. The other kind is too boring, unless you are Mrs Doubtfire.

- @cinoclav @mike808 Really, has a Shark or Dyson vacuum ever provided as much entertainment? Our cats are freaked out but fascinated by the Roomba, while just totally panicked by the Shark vacuum.

I had a Roomba - it was a neat novelty, but to keep it running was more trouble than it was worth.
iRobot was fantastic with customer service, though - when I contacted them to buy a replacement battery, they sent me one for free. When I contacted them to buy some parts to repair my crippled Roomba, they sent me a whole new chassis for free.
Both times it was well beyond the warranty period.
This was quite awhile ago, I don’t know if their CS is still as generous or if their vacs are still as difficult to maintain.

I’ve owned a few Dysons and, while their plastic parts could stand to be a bit more robust/rugged, as long as you don’t handle them too roughly, they work really well.

I have heard some things about the Shark brand that would make me very wary of ever buying one, but everyone I know who has actually owned one has liked it.
