Tonight it was fight for your right to Lombardi. I’m with you, dnh, there were multiple times I thought I was going to vomit. But damned if they didn’t finally find the spaces in that niner’s defense and then it was off to the races.
As the only 49ers fan here (far as I can tell), congrats for the win - sentimentally, I was sort of rooting for Andy to finally get his Super Bowl.
I’m a little teary-eyed, but mainly from the Google commercial.
So what the heck is with Missouri all of a sudden thinking they belong in the pantheon of sports greatness? Stanley Cup for St. Louis last year, now a Superbowl for KC…Next thing you know the Royals or Cardinals are going to think they can win the World Series! Anyways, good on you KC! You still have the best BBQ in the country if nothing else!
@medz It’s only been since 1991 for my Twins & don’t see much of a glimmer of hope that things are going to change this season. Everyone else is getting markedly better, and the Twins are just happy putting out a good team…

Kelce is a lot like Gronk. If it were at all fake, it would be unbearable, but he’s so earnestly cheesy, it can be endearing if you’re inclined to root for him.
@mtb002 I’ll give you that - it’s not contrived. On the Gronk comparison, as a lifelong Patriots fan I personally ignored anything Rob Gronkowski did or said outside of football itself. It was/is unbearable to hear him do anything besides catch/spike a football.
The parade is going on right now, they’re riding on the top of the bus with goggles on and beers in hand. I bet those beer goggles are making everything look pretty awesome right now.
@dnh127@mtb002 It is a HoF-level commercial. I was really hoping it’d make an appearance during the “big game” /sigh, but, unlike Mahomes, it unfortunately didn’t try for a HoF fourth quarter performance.
