IRK Plushies, Mehgic 8 Ball (all responses some form of meh.), Squatty Potty (because we don’t have the fukubukuro anymore and our crap needs to go somewhere), AAA batteries, poop meh emoji pillows, and candy corn because it’s near Halloween duh.
I’ve gotten compliments on my Kickstarter edition of this shirt.
Which brings me to the fifth option:
You bought the Kickstarter version
You’ve enjoyed your octopus shirt for a few months now. Worn it to events with wine people around and gotten compliments on it. You may still not really be a wine person, per se, but if it has Snapster’s name on it you will part with money for it.
Or, you really love wine, and envy the octopus’ ability to have multiple wines in hand (or tentacle) at the same time.
Either way, you have this shirt in navy already. Should you buy another?
I like the original design. I’m not sure about the new version. But then again, I haven’t bought an electric car, my house looks like a house, and my couch looks like a couch. So maybe it’s not for me.
This deal is not tenticlizing.
Feels like this deal is many arms away from good.
I am saying meh is a h8r of customers with this one.
Many hearts are going be to disappoined.
This deal has major sucktion,
What happens when an octopus gets drunk?
Does he see double or?
Just like octopuses this deal should have a short lifespan.
MYbe meh should mimic a good deal next time. (Intentional typo btw).
I am available for birthday parties, deal sites and churches (because I am so good on Sunday it’s a religion). Hit me up.
Wow that shirt is really blue. I have the original Casemates KS backer shirt. I really like the octo design, but I think it would be better if printed on a black shirt. Mine is dark blue. These for sale today are like melt your retinas kinda blue.
@Barney@sammydog01 I thought I did when asked for my shirt size. I asked about it a few times more. Then I was told they ran out and there was no chance to still get one. It appears from the Casemates forum I’m not alone.
I think it was @thumperchick that finally got me a code worth $10 this past August. Still have it. I was going to use it as part of the Fuko exchange but apparently that’s going nowhere.
Could I have spent it on this shirt? Yeah, I could have. But That would have meant buying it for $30 ($25 kickstart and $5 shipping) As it is I essentially paid $25 for a $10 credit.
Does Meh owe me a Tee? Technically no they do not. I accepted the code. Besides, I think they needed that $25 more than I did.
@JanaS You have me kind of confused. On the Kickstarter, there was an early bird shirt offer for $10 and then there was the regular Kickstarter after that, for $15. There was no $25 offer, unless you decided to donate an additional amount.
So it looks like to me that @Thumperchick was pretty fair in giving you a code for $10, because you really did miss the cutoff. I don’t see that you were cheated out of any money and that you are not owed any additional compensation.
Then again, I could be wrong. I’m not an employee of Mediocre.
@Barney I looked it up and you are correct in that it was $15 not $25 as I remembered. If as you say you researched the Casemate forum you saw that I had asked for my $25 dollars back in August. I was not corrected then so I had no reason to look further. But the math basically stands: I paid $15 for a shirt and got a $10 credit instead. If I had used the credit to get this shirt I would have had to pay an additional $5 to get it for a total of $20 paid not $30.
As for your statement
because you really did miss the cutoff.
No, I did not miss the cutoff. I received a request asking for my shirt size. I responded to that request in a timely manner but never received a shirt. I was told by customer service that the shirts were no longer available when I inquired about it. And I was not the only one who didn’t get a shirt.
At no point did I claim to be cheated. I called foul. Huge difference. I asked for the product I “purchased” via kickstarter. I have the badge but not the shirt. When I asked for a refund of my Kickstarter pledge in August, @Thumperchick helped me. I accepted the offer from customer service and thanked @thumperchick for her help.
That was the end of it until this shirt showed up on Meh. I called foul only because I couldn’t pass up a chance to poke at @dave and @snappy, not to claim I was cheated.
@beachhead Twenty nine years ago my wife asked me “Does this skirt make my butt look fat?” I answered “The skirt is fine. Twinkies make your butt fat.” I remember to this day to never make that joke again.
“You see stories about rescue dogs on Facebook and feel nothing. you stand directly in front of the elevator doors waiting for them to open, not because you’re in a rush, not because you think you’re better than other people, but because you haven’t thought at all. Often, you feel as though you’ve forgotten something. Your phone? No. It’s in your pocket. Your wallet? No. That’s there too. Your keys? No again. Really, you have forgotten nothing; instead, what you’re experiencing is the sensation of your being crying out to fill the hole where a soul should be.”
