I’m an EMT, the worst part of my job isn’t the death and injuries, nor is it the long hours with no sleep, it’s the fact that I have to poop during my 48 hour shifts, and my bidet, which is this bidet, is at home.
if you’re hesitating, use that time to make sure you’ve got the right shaped toilet, then after you’ve determined it’s the right shape, buy it. trust me, you are very very unlikely to regret it.
the heated seat is sooo amazing with the cold weather we’ve been having, used to be I’d dread going to the toilet when it was under 50 in the house, now I honestly don’t mind
@thechilipepper0 I mostly use medium temp and it’s great, honestly even cold isn’t bad, which is good, because I’m often inclined to run it two or more times, just to be sure, and it’s only got enough hot water for one full rinse
@lisagd and thank goodness it’s not! Although if it was, it would be great to have a heated seat in the outhouse and not have to tote the seat back and forth from the cabin
@sixsmith After becoming accustomed to the bidet at home, my solution to pooping at work (sans bidet) was to grab a paper hand towel and wet it at the sink on the way to the stall. Not as nice as the actual bidet, but workable.
(As for flushing the paper towel after use, it didn’t appear to be an issue but that’s building maintenance’s problem anyway. )
Already have one. Not this model but this brand. Love it. Nice clean ass everytime. Highly recommend if you don’t have one to get one. This one is nice. Remember need electrical put in close to the toilet. So keep that in mind. Have a nice asssy day

I already have unheated bidet attachments on two toilets in my house (and one at my parents’), and they’re wonderful. The water is not freezing cold. It’s perfectly lovely. I just think it might be nice to have the drying and the heated seat!
@kostia every one of our toilets has an outlet on the exact opposite side of the wall (above each sink/vanity). Hopefully yours is the same, SUPER simple to tap into it from the opposite side of the wall and add an outlet.
@jasont2 I wish, but I don’t have any walls like that. I know how simple that would make it; I did the same thing to put a mini fridge in the closet of my tv room!

Years ago, a friend told my wife about his bidet and, hearing that, she declared that she wanted one for her toilet. (We enjoy separate bathrooms; the secret to a long marriage, IMO.) After scowling at this friend for creating a project for me, I got one for her from Bez-mart, installed it, and it was great. So great that I bought a slightly better model that tapped into the hot water supply line from the adjacent vanity (so no electricity needed) and it was – as others have commented here – a game-changer.
@andymand So what you’re saying is that a “secret to a long marriage” is to have separate bathrooms and to outfit your bathroom with slightly better stuff than your spouse’s? Is that a Canadian thing or ???

Was weird the first time you use one, as water hitting your ass was historically a result of something going terribly wrong… But that sensation takes about 10 seconds to get over once you realized how spic and span your arse turns out as a result!
As an electrician NOT giving electrical advice, make sure your extension cord is 14awg if you are going to go against the manufacturer recommendations.
When we built our new house we tried one of these in our master bathroom. Whoever invented these deserves some kind of award. I will walk across the house to get to this toilet instead of having to use a regular one. I want one for the other bathrooms!

In-laws got one very recently (unheated, but that’s okay). With our visits out there this holiday season, I now have 4 uses under my belt. Only 1 of those did not benefit from further cleaning from the traditional paper.
Also, it felt like I got splashed all over, requiring more drying than I expected. Am I just using it wrong, or is my anatomy bare-ly different enough to spoil the flow?
(Fwiw, I’m in favor of a bidet. I think it’s a great idea. But my wife and I agree that our still-young kids would not be sufficiently responsible with it just yet. And we don’t like stepping in water in the bathroom … or anywhere else but the shower or swimming pool.)

This will be our second one, to go into the guest bathroom. Have a nice Brondell in the master with remote so you don’t have to deal with controls next to you. About the only downside to this bidet.
I have this bidet and it is 100% not my favorite. I have 3 bidets in my home (this + 2 nearly identical of whatever was a top selling model from Amazon). Here’s what I dislike about this one:
hate the need for a grounded outlet within ~4’ of the toilet. There’s only one room in our house where this is practically possible, so that’s where it is.
generally find the electric features unnecessary. Yes, the heated seat and water are nice, but I’d rather not just have another perpetual power draw
install is not great / easy. Compared with my other bidets, this one is HUGE and consequently it must sit pretty far forward from the water reservoir on the back of the toilet. I had initially installed this in a different bathroom (cord didn’t reach so I had to move it) but that toilet had a round bowl and when this thing was installed, all of it’s . . . circuitry? pushed it so far forward over the bowl it really wasn’t practical.
This one might work for you / your toilet and everybody should get bidets - they are great! - but wanted to throw those perspectives out there. If you have a plug and ample clearance to install this, then the features definitely are nice, but personally I wouldn’t buy it again.

Do it and you are unlikely to regret it. While I have a different model BioBidet seat, this has similar features at a lower price point. If you think it’s not a worthwhile investment, it’s surprising how quickly the savings on toilet paper can accumulate.
@tut2go I ran some rough numbers, I’d need at least five years to break even on toilet paper costs, and that’s not counting water/electric costs. But I do live alone, so I guess a family of five would make it back in a year

Nearly pulled the trigger, but saw on Lowes the lid can only handle 200 lbs. I tend to contemplate life sitting on the toilet after a shower and can’t have it breaking mid-thought.

We’ve had a Bio-Bidet (USPA-6800, not to be confused with an older Motorola processor) in the MBR for 10+ years. Added a second to the main bath room two years later and haven’t looked back. A bit of electrical work to add an extension from the existing GFIC outlet, but well worth the couple of hours work effort required.
Dislike having to drop a load at work, and the comments from guests using ours are frequently quite charming/humorous.
Hold onto your butts. Bidets will literally change your life for the better.

@kostia neither did I but I put it in. It’s worth it. If your not handy it’s about $250 to install a new outlet but WELL WORTH IT

We have four of these in all our bathrooms (started with just one in the master, then the kids tried and ‘demanded’ bidets of their own, lol).
We will never go back. I’m literally pissed whenever I travel and have to use cavemen tools like toilet paper again.

To Bidet or not Bidet? That is loaded question.
It seems to carefully say that the seat is heated and the air is heated, but no spec says the WATER is heated…?

MY BIDET WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED AT 8:47 AT MY DOORSTEP. iT IS NOW 3:30 P.M. AND STILL NOT HERE. why?
