The bad reviews consistently say it is poorly made. The good reviews consustently say it is easy to clean. I am torn between my cheapness and my laziness.
The story of the day cleverly ignores that the horrible thing about juicers is not the ~1 second it takes to slice a thing before it will go in the hole, but the half hour it takes to clean the implacable sludge out of the machine when you’re done.
@arbdef totally agree. I bought an Omega for juicing. Cleaning doesn’t take 30 minutes, more like 10. Makes great banana ice cream too!
Looking for a powerful blender because I still want the fiber
Just be honest with yourself,you’ll buy this and only use it once like the bread maker, air fryer, ninja WhateverWasSellingOnThatLateNightInfomerical.
Why buy something that just gonna add more clutter? Besides the amount of fruit you’ll actually need to buy to get a full cup cost more than just buying the juice itself in the store
@NoImNotNSA Agee except for the bread maker. I have consciously avoided bread makers. When I was a young adult fresh from BCT/AIT my mom purchased a bread maker, the house smelled great every day and I got fat for the first time in my life. I can resist, candy, soda, cakes but fresh baked bread that you have been smelling all day.
@narfcake@NoImNotNSA 3 dollars is what I got out of the charitable donation deduction too. Probably should stop cruising meh and just donate the money to salvation army/Goodwill…
@mike808@NoImNotNSA We take the eggmuffin maker on vacation. The fam has breakfast made by my boys and wife and I get an extra 30 minutes.
The maker was a gag gift, but it has been on a dozen trips so far.
@gustador@NoImNotNSA I taught my boys to make them in the toaster and use a 1-egg frying pan from Walmart ($4). No electricity needed and less to carry. And you can do just eggs or ham or a couple of breakfast links in it. Works on a camping stove too.
@mike808
How do you make eggmuffin in toaster without electricity? @narfcake
My son uses a quesadilla maker at least 3 times a week; we’re about to start shopping for a 3rd one (non-stick coating wears out)
/image melted cheese
@compunaut@narfcake
You toast them in the 1-egg frying pan.
You can also brown/fry the biscuit slices (aka Canadian bacon) in it too.
It’s a multi-tasker!
If you don’t have an electric toaster or electricity you can make toasted muffins ye olde fashioned way with ye butter and ye 1-egg frying pan. Do you need a video on how to make butter from ye milk?
well the 1 stars are on par with the 5s. I’m on the fence. on the one hand this is a lot cheaper than the jack lalanne power juicer. on the other I don’t want to buy something that won’t work.
does anyone own one of these? would you recommend it?
@boygenius1991 just hold out for a Vitamix. Vitamix is the best for absolutely destroying any fruit or veg, seeds and peels included and are super easy to clean. My Vitamix gets a daily workout and is like 10 years old
Don’t buy. Not because it’s a PITA to clean, or because it’ll fall apart, but because JUICE IS BAD FOR YOU.
Juicers take everything great about fruit (i.e. the fiber) and leave it behind so you can drink organic sugar water.
Blend or bust, like others have previously mentioned. Vitamix (if you can afford it) or grab a ninja the next time Meh posts one (I’m still happily using mine for smoothies every morning).
I didn’t see anything about it having Bluetooth speakers, did you? Everything has to have a built-in Bluetooth speaker to be a legit contender for the appliance shelf.
Whenever I see a cheap product, I automatically assume that either it’s from an unknown brand or there are inconveniences of sorts. Despite its timeless design, the machine seems too tall and bulky for kitchens with small counters. Besides, if you really want to attract potential buyers, at least do an in-depth review, like how they do it on Amazon, Ebay or Healthy Kitchen 101. Sure, their customer reviews might be lengthy, but at least they shed some light into what the customers are completely unaware of.

@ravenblack Oooh. “Implacable Sludge.” Excellent band name, or possibly-evil-but-actually-good Hogwarts Professor.
@mayshar @ravenblack There’s nothing wrong with going in the hole…the problem comes when it’s time to get it back out.
@mayshar @ravenblack @therealjrn
Hey, that’s what my mom said about my birthday.
Masticating juicer or nothing. Had one of these and they are poop and suck to clean.
@arbdef totally agree. I bought an Omega for juicing. Cleaning doesn’t take 30 minutes, more like 10. Makes great banana ice cream too!
Looking for a powerful blender because I still want the fiber
@arbdef Any specific juicer you’d recommend?
@FightingMongoos If you are looking at not spending hundreds on one you can always look at this one. It is a decent little machine but mostly plastic. https://www.amazon.com/Aicok-Masticating-Extractor-Conveniently-Vegetable/dp/B01M9GDTPJ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528117092&sr=8-1&keywords=aicock+juicer&dpID=51xq7sTzpGL&preST=SY300_QL70&dpSrc=srch
I have a juicer but I never use it. I’d rather just eat the fruit.
Just be honest with yourself,you’ll buy this and only use it once like the bread maker, air fryer, ninja WhateverWasSellingOnThatLateNightInfomerical.

@NoImNotNSA My house is looking like a shrine of unused junk from woot & meh. I need to start my own junk web site!
@Kyser_Soze @NoImNotNSA I have this disease too. Kinda starting to feel like those people on Hoarders except it’s all Woot or Meh…
@NoImNotNSA And then I’ll pick them up from thrift stores after these lightly used (or unused) kitchen appliances get donated.
At $3, I still paid too much for that NIB quesadilla maker, though.
@NoImNotNSA Agee except for the bread maker. I have consciously avoided bread makers. @NoImNotNSA You forgot Instant Pot, stacking dehydrators, and the Hamilton Beach egg McMuffin maker…
@NoImNotNSA That has to be one of the most honest things I have ever read in ANY forum… Thank you for pulling me back from the ledge!

T-FAL One Egg Wonder 4.5" Frying Pan
@mike808 Can I assume the toaster is using electricity?
@compunaut you can. I don’t. What’s your point?
If you don’t have an electric toaster or electricity you can make toasted muffins ye olde fashioned way with ye butter and ye 1-egg frying pan. Do you need a video on how to make butter from ye milk?
P.S. cockroach milk makes the bestest butter.
@compunaut my stovetop uses electricity.
@RiotDemon You should move.
@brhfl shit!
@mike808 Well, you said
I was trying to figure out how you were cooking an egg with a toaster but without electricity; confused me, is all.
Can I juice margaritas with this?
@ELUNO you have a margarita tree??? Where can I get one??!!
well the 1 stars are on par with the 5s. I’m on the fence. on the one hand this is a lot cheaper than the jack lalanne power juicer. on the other I don’t want to buy something that won’t work.

This reminds me of something…
https://kotaku.com/5263562/robots-we-love-the-fruit-fucker-2000
@cpierce Damnit, you beat me by a few seconds.
It’s got a solid 3 star rating on Amazon, even after adjusting out the possible fake reviews.
https://reviewmeta.com/amazon/B004FLK0IW
@cajunbob fakespot has it at a 2 star rating after taking into account paid reviews. It also noted that Amazon recently deleted 200 reviews… At this price it may well be worth the risk I think. Link for anyone interested. https://www.fakespot.com/product/big-boss-700-watt-juicer-18-000-rpm-wide-mouth-vegetable-juice-extractor-stainless-steel
Squeeze play ( juicer) tonight eh meh?
Do you have the Loyal Employee brand juicer? Seems like it would be more reliable, and probably quieter.
@hssina needs this because Moms and babies drink juice. If there is anything left over maybe then dad can have some.
How does this compare to the Juice Weasel that was featured on In Living Color a couple
yearsdecades ago?@narfcake That show has been off the air 24 years now. WTF time?!
This one went rogue and attacked its owners child.
It Was Good While It Lasted
I read Big-Moth juicer at first.
@OnionSoup ummmm…bugs for breakfast…yum!
Can I make warm mango/buttermilk enemas with this?
I suppose this works with Apple, but does it also work with windows?
Haza? And anyway the magic word you’re looking for is Abracadabra
PSA: do not put entire apples in juicers or blenders.
You don’t want to open the seeds.
Don’t buy. Not because it’s a PITA to clean, or because it’ll fall apart, but because JUICE IS BAD FOR YOU.

@SaintO I consider margaritas to be juice. Therefore I can’t believe that juice is bad for you…
@SaintO thanks for the heads up…now i can unpack the Ninja pro I got in the fuko package…

@etheltheflog but do we get Sun n Run with purchase?
I didn’t see anything about it having Bluetooth speakers, did you? Everything has to have a built-in Bluetooth speaker to be a legit contender for the appliance shelf.
@emt305 A better question is:
Where the fark is the app?
@emt305 Obligatory reference:
220v? or 110v?
@marine1735 do you have any 220v outlets in your kitchen besides your range?
No
Ian K. Smith’s Shred Emulsifier THE BEST thing to happen to my kitchen. Under $100 bucks and destroys fruits and veggies to make a smooth juice.
Big Boss? Is this the favored juicer for the greatest soldier to ever live, the one associated with Metal Gear?!

Hmmmm where are the links?
“Big-Mouth Juicer” was the name of my third girlfriend in High School.
I never get it. Dont know why it said that it was delivered
@caloncho970 did you send a message to
