I have a pug/beagle mix. I would recommend a durable squeaky ball for fetch.
Beagles are pretty active, so fetch is a great way to keep them going and tire them out. No matter what toy you end up getting, make sure it’s durable!
i have a rescue beagle/hound female, zoe, for almost five years now. she likes her rawhide chews, under supervision, a few babies she grooms and then naps with, she destroys babies to get the squeaker out of them for some reason, loves to walk, wants to catch squirrels,
and do something with them i think, she cuddles, protects, and loves to travel with us. she is also a social butterfly and loves to meet new people and their dogs.
I have 2 beagles. Male & female, both rescues. One likes to play with ball toys while the other one doesn’t care for any toys.
@phillyspecial Can we have a photo? Sketch? Oil painting? What are their names?
@sammydog01
Roxi (7) on top and Leo (2) on the bottom. They’re absolutely amazing.

@sammydog01 @tinamarie1974 thank you!!
@phillyspecial I need to know less about the dogs and more about you. From Philly? Why have you been so quiet?
@cinoclav Haha! I’m in a building surrounded by Cowboys fans. I already get a lot of crap for wearing Eagles jerseys to work lol.
@phillyspecial Originally from the Philly area or did you just always have good taste?
@cinoclav I grew up in Philly! Northeast to be exact.
@cinoclav @phillyspecial

@phillyspecial Wow. I graduated from George Washington! Worked and hung out at Roosevelt Mall. Can’t say I miss the NE much.

@cf1 @Kevin such a pretty puppy, the kids are cute too!
Puppy or adult? My cousins have them, some for hunting, some for house dogs. Puppies like the squeeky toys, adults the chewies.
@stolicat adult 11 years old
@CaptAmehrican @stolicat That’s pretty old for toys. Maybe a bag of treats?
@stolicat OMG why do they hunt beagles!?! Those monsters!!!
my sister just got a beagle pup from a breeder… but i cant tell you much more besides that…
There’s some useful info about beagles here.

Beagles are neat, but one should be prepared for their noises and ability to find any food at all ever.
Congrats to Beagle and new family!
